I took my mom here for Mothers Day and it started off great. Mom actually won a little bit of money and we decided to try out their buffet, and it was the worst decision we could have made. It honestly ruined the whole experience for us. First,you dont pay when you enter and they only had one person "greeting" and taking peoples money as they left. Let me tell you Temporary Badge #13 was far from friendly. So that was a good first impression. It is quite expensive, but we knew it was because they served prime rib, and neither of us are big red meat eaters. We did our research on the website first, 20 foot salad bar, chicken, and desserts. We figured we could totally make a meal out of this. Well, we might have been able too but the buffet was empty of food, plates, and servers. We watched a woman who waited entirely too long to be seated, cut her own piece of meat because nobody was there to do it! We went to the salad bar first, there were no plates at half the buffet tables, the salad bar consists of mostly mayonnaise premade salads, there was no cheese stocked the entire time we were there, and their dressings are in squirt bottles. Once done with our salads, we went to go get some chicken or pasta. Well the pasta sauce, gravies, and nacho cheese were nothing but congealed messes. So I opted for the red potatoes sitting in butter. Which turned out to not even be fully cooked. After we managed to scrap a plate together we went just to check out if there was anything worth having for dessert, and to the surprise of no one, the dessert area was almost completely empty. My mom finally found someone who was working close to the buffet and told her about our concerns and by the time we were leaving our table she was finally making an effort to restock the buffet. We were greeted again by temporary bage #13, who never asked us how anything was, told us our total, took our ridiculous amount of $40 and didnt even thank us. We will never be return to the casino or this restaurant. If you are looking for a fun place to go drive the extra hour or two and go somewhere else. I know I definitely will!

I just turned 21 today so I went and gambled in Wisconsin for the first time. For the past three years I have been gambling in Minnesota at treasure Island resort and casino. So this casino and treasure Island are the only two I can compare and this casino was very good. Slots were hitting pretty good The staff was very nice my only problem with this casino compared to treasure Island is they need to start upgrading their stuff. The food was good but the buffet area you can tell its very dated and could use more options. Their bathrooms were clean and nothing wrong with them but just very outdated. Even the bar the staff was good and it was clean and organize just looked very outdated but if youre going there to play slots and have a good time its a good casino. There is a huge add on going on right now so I am assuming theyre going to be updating.

I give it 0 stars. An employee who has a Restraining order on me for no reason decides to harass me at the casino and the security just let it happen. It was really embarrassing. She was called by a fellow employee to tell her i was there so she showed up and i was escorted out she totally threw it in my face as i was leaving. Before i even went to the casino that night i called and made sure she wasnt working. My sister told my she left 15 after i was escorted out. Thats the kind of people they have working there. I recommend taking a little longer trip and go to Mystic Lake Casino. they have awesome intertwinement on the weekends.

Buffet was very, very disappointing. Usually casino properties have very good buffets,.....not this one. It appears they prepare the food earlier in the day and then place it on the buffet, where it sits for the entire, remainder of the day. EVERYTHING was dried out, picked over, never changed, not even stirred up by the employees. I should have known this was not a decent place to eat because there were only three (3) customers total, in the dining room. Do yourself a favor and eat from the vending machines. At least youll know the food is fresher.

The employees barely have a pulse, The Experience Music much to be desired. The casino needs a complete makeover! I felt like it was a locals only casino. And then I met their roaming magician. He was the only exciting part of my whole stay at the ho-chunk casino. He did some amazing magic tricks including multiplying money, reading my mind, and just generally was a wonderful addition to my experience. I am surprised that somebody with this much talent is that this casino!

After we were done gambling we went to get something to eat at the bistro some time around midnight. The staff in the kitchen was extremely rude. They were out of most of the items on the menu but we managed to find something. The cook in the kitchen though, was doing something and yelled to the girl at the counter, "hey, that white guy needs something". It was an older gentleman and I thought he was treated terribly.

This casino is run by good people who care, and treat people right. They especially care about veterans and have many honored veterans among their nation. They always donate to the Unmet Needs fundraising program put on by Burger King, and this year theyre doing a concert to raise money for Unmet Needs. Its Sunday, Nov. 23 featuring Blackhawk and the Outlaws. Ill be there. Will you?

Think of a holiday inn with gambling. Small casino floor but honestly how many tables do you need? The pool was clean and the hit tub was hot. The rooms smelled normal. Which is good. All in all we had fun. Wifi is horrible which is also normal. Cell phone signal is a dead zone for the whole town. Not their fault but keep it in mind.

My husband and I like to stop here for a bite to eat and to relax after being on the road. There is parking for tractor trailers. There are also "clean up bags" provided to keep the area clean. Right now, there is a massive add on happening so be aware of construction when you go there.

I am at a loss for words that all there tvs are hooked up to 1 cable box. So if you want to watch anything hopefully nobody else in the entire casino requested something first. I have more cable boxes in my condo. One would think the casino could afford a second cable box.

The slots were fun. Not enough thouhh when its so busy. The bingo session was horrible. Couldnt understand callers. Microphones were horrible . Too many of the same games and too expensive to play for what they pay out
