The only reason I gave it two stars is because my children enjoy the movie. I took my family to see a movie and spent $50 on four tickets and food, however the movie did not start for another 1 1/2 hour. When I returned to pick up the food I paid for they sold out all of the nachos. So I told the cashier that provided this bad service "Mallory" that I wanted a refund for those nachos and jalapenos I paid for. Then she began to apologize for running out of nachos which is fine but should have at least offered comped us with something else. Instead she tried to sell me something else, I told her that good customer service should have been to a least offer us a free popcorn or something else for the error not try to sell me something. She just looked at me as if I was not a paying customer and walked off (not even offer to check with the manager). Im never bringing my family back there again even though I live in Yelm Im going somewhere else.

Either people love or hate. No insight just their horrible experiences. The theater remained open during rennovations and it was a little rough and snacks were pricy. Now that they are finished it is very nice. Its the movies so expect higher than normal prices for snacks. Popcorn is popcorn no small or large difference, its the same. And the staff has never shown me or my family diskindness, of course we treat employees with respect and give them no reason to disrespect us. We have a great time here when we go. Good to have comfortable, clean, and reserved seating. All in all for a small town teater it is well above other small town theaters. If their experience here was horrible there are other theaters they can travel to, full service, 5 star theaters that they can try out and see how their pockets like it there.

When I went there in May of last year, I had the best experience. The customer service was great, the popcorn was probably the best Ive ever had, and seeing Captain America: Civil War was truly amazing. There were the occasional laughs and talking from people seated behind me, but I wont rate four stars just because of their actions. Im rating the place. They cant help it if there are people talking. Anyways, it was a little pricy, as expected, but it was less expensive than most theaters would be. Also, seats were incredibly comfortable. Im hoping to go back very soon. It will likely always be my favorite theater. If you are even possibly reading this, anyone who works there... please, do keep up the good work.

Clean and comfortable theaters, and of course reclining seats. Plenty of leg room. Friendly staff, great deals on popcorn and drinks. Terrific place to see a movie. The restaurant is meh... They once offered a veggie and fruit plate which was good, but discontinued it, so really no healthy alternative.. Lot of greasy options. Friendly wait staff and bartenders though , but prices are a little high... $10. Glass of house red aspires to a clientele that is more uptown, but this is still Yelm and small town there are other options in the areas for pre-movie dinning .

After being disgusted by Regal/Lowes theaters, we tried out this "little" theater in Yelm and by far, it is one of our favorites. The staff are always nice and the facilities are clean. Im not sure if its because its in Yelm (a mostly farming community) but the people who go there seem a lot more respectful; its been a long time since I had to ask someone to be quiet. My biggest complaint is that the concession stand doesnt accept debit cards so if you dont have cash, youll need to get a gift card at the box office if you want to get some snacks.

Purchased three tickets to see Zoopotia , my two year was very excited to see movie unit we realize the girl sell us the wrong ticket . She sold us tickets for London fall, we purchase our ticket two and haft hours early . They apologies for the confusion and gave us back our money , and free movies for the next time. I appreciate the effort but my time was wasted Because I couldnt dont something else with our night , need better customer service to prevent this from happen . This was my first time and know Im not sure if I would ever go back

Only place I will go for a movie from now on. Comfy chairs that recline. The back row seats have a tray you can put your snacks on that is nice. Great deal on popcorn. $5 and you can refill as many times as you want, add your own butter, and a ton of different flavored salts to add yourself. Clean theatres and bathrooms. Nice restaurant/bar inside the theatre. Casa Mia right next door to enjoy also. And its nice to be able to download their app on your phone to select your seats and purchase online ahead of time. Its the only way to go.

So grateful to have such a wonderful cinema here in Yelm. My family and I have always been treated so nicely by the staff and we enjoy the new reclining seats immensely! Spoiled and loving it! The sound problem and the temperature as well as other things I have seen posted in other reviews has never been an issue for us. We use our debit card to pay at the concession. They must have changed the process. We go at least twice a week for the last year or so and have never had a negative encounter. Keep up the good work!

This is the second time Ive been to this theater, and have left even more unsatisfied than the first. I took my sister and her son to see Pacific Rim, only to have the entire right side of the speakers cut out for the remaining 45 minutes of the movie. When I told the staff at the moment it began, they neither attempted to fix it nor gave me any hope they would. I would recommend taking the extra minutes to drive to Lacey, and watch in the Regal Cinemas, like I should have done.

Used to be 4 star or higher, but this Cinemas service and atmosphere have gone downhill since their most recent remodel. We liked the reserved seating, but new concessions area and particularly their CUSTOMER SERVICE and staff is way worse. Oh yeah, and their cell phone App is having a lot of glitches. Repeatedly not allowing tickets to be purchased using the app any longer. Im growing disappointed with YC. Wish they could go back to the concessions set up they had before.

Flavor Critic

A great way to enjoy a movie! The recliners are fantastic and it is super inexpensive. You get to reserve your seat so you never have to worry about not getting a seat. You have tons of room to move around and get comfortable. While every other theater, plane, and restaurant seems to be trying to stuff as many customers as the can in to a small space, Yelm cinema went the other way and gives you a great place to relax and watch a movie. AWESOME job Yelm Cinema!

Being able to reserve your seat would be enough to drive out here from Olympia, but the fact that the seats are leather electric recliners just makes it that much better! The space between rows is perfect and you dont have to feel like you are packed in like sardines! Great prices on popcorn and soda too! Plus you get to do your own popcorn and butter! No need to ask for "butter in the middle" you can do 20 layers of butter and popcorn if you want!!!
