Went last night before going to the Young The Giant concert next door at the NorVa. The server wasnt friendly and wasnt sure what beers they had on their total of 6 taps. When she came back, she said 3 of them had blown and havent been replaced. Really...you have a concert next door later that evening and you cant replace kegs? The place was not busy at all! We had to order from a limited menu because of the concert...not like they were busy! I ordered the FM burger. It tasted like it was cooked ahead of time and reheated (barely) and even the fries were cold. There are plenty of great places to eat and have beer in this part of town, this isnt one of them!

Entering a restaurant that was completely dead at lunch time on a Saturday did not paint a good picture. However, the food was actually quite good. But, the rest of the experience leaves a lot to be desired, so I wouldnt recommend it. The dining room felt dirty and worn like its really a dance club not a restaurant. The water I had with my meal was served in disposable plastic cups and the bathroom had neither paper towels nor a hand dryer. How does the staff wash their hands?

I asked for a stout and was told they did not have stout beer. I requested a beer menu and there was none. I asked what beer they had and she said "green" beer. Ok so it was all very odd. Then the food came and the chicken was raw. We were one of 3 visibly sat tables so the kitchen was not pressured. All of that said we went when it was very recently opened. Hopefully they have been working VERY hard to figure themselves out. TLDR : not even close to as good as its predecessor

Food was terrible no flavor to the wings when you order cajun jerk chicken wings you expect some spice. They had no flavor whatsoever. The fries were not cooked well, very greasy. I asked for a dirty Bombay Sapphire Martini, it came out with ice in it and no olive juice at all. Service was terrible, I had to get up twice to ask for my server. The only reason why I came here was to get into concert early. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Hard to find parking. Its on a busy college and downtown area. Only had two servers and service was VERY slow and I had to keep asking for things and getting up to get them myself. Got my order mixed up. And if you sit near the bar when theres live music, it is TOO loud and very cramped. There are other spaces in the restaurant much more quiet and comfortable.

Its become a new routine to come here before seeing a show at the NorVA. Sasquatch is the best bartender, super easy to talk to and makes delicious drinks. Ive only ever sat at the bar and have always had great service. The drinks are also cheaper here than in the NorVA so get your drink on at the bar before heading to a show.

Great weekend and night scene. Very versatile. I dont like clubs "crowdedness", but i like music. FM is the perfect restaurant/lounge to have a perfect evening with my future wife. And the dining experience is even better. I recommend the shrimp and grits or the chicken and sausage alfredo.

We had an excellent dinner prior to early access to The Norva. Negative reviews here had me a little concerned but turns out theyre BS. Our waiter Angelo was great and the food was VERY good! Food came quick, was cooked perfectly, and very reasonably priced! No complaints what-so-ever!

Went for my first time a week ago, and have ordered takeout two more times since then! Incredible taste, and a charming staff and scene. I feel I have not tried enough of the menu to recommend a certain item, however, I doubt you will be disappointed with anything you order.

The waitress ignored all her tables. We were cashed out early even though i wanted something else to drink. The food was soggy and bland. We didnt want early access to the Norva and were forced into early entry. Dont come here before a concert!

We went here before a show as it allowed us early entrance. The food was mediocre, at best. We ordered salads which had rotted greens. That being said, our server was excellent. Which helped a bit with the terrible food.

It was nice that we could buy our tickets to the NorVa here but it was very loud for a restaurant and knowing that it would be loud at the show, we didnt want to sit through the same during dinner.
