Candied Cayenne Bacon Chocolate $2 (5/5 NOMs) I want you inside of me you sexy piece of bacon goodness. The world is perfect when you get to nom at Maryland Bacon Festival in Inner Harbor Baltimore. With every bite you can really taste the thick and rich chocolaty flavor with a little hint of cayenne. The Peanuts on top for that extra crunchy texture. They may appear small, but dont try to eat the whole thing in one go, its so rich might just have trouble. It is hard to resist this. Couldnt find it on their regular menu, might be just for this festival, but they should really add it as permanent menu item. BAAAACCCCON!!! Hoffmans Double Bacon Brat $3 (6/5 NOMs) Today we die with bacon! The world is perfect when you get to nom at Maryland Bacon Festival in Inner Harbor Baltimore. This is worth all the cholesterol and artery clogging. Might the best dish weve tasted so far. THE BEST OF ALL TIMES. First bite in and your mouth will explode with amazing bacon goodness. Its all bacon and nothing but bacon with beer battered double bacon wrapped bratwurst. Covered in sweet candied bacon syrup bacon honey mustard. its just a crazy bacon sweetness combination. God I dont think we ever tasted anything this good. Couldnt find it on their regular menu, might be just for this festival, but they should really add it as permanent menu item. BAAAACCCCON!!!

Ive been to many dozens of music venues, arenas, concert halls, and not a one of them does it as superbly as Rams Head Tavern. Usually you find out who is coming where and decide how youre going to consume their performance, but with RHT I opt instead to scan their calendar for acts I would like to check out at an *ideal* venue... it has completely changed the game for me. Prices are good, the place is clean, the attached restaurant is acceptable and also not overly pricey. If I had a complaint it would be parking in downtown Annapolis but its a small inconvenience for a show youll likely be remembering fondly for months or possibly even years afterwards. I must also note that the intimate setting inspires many artists to hang out after the show and meet / take pictures with / sign autographs for their fans. Drama is also basically ZERO here.... never even seen a tussle let alone a fight or any sort of violent episode. If I was going to build and manage a business like RHT I would surely model my venue after their very excellent example. They have no competition Im aware of in these United States or abroad (and I do travel).

I have patronized Rams Head for several years and enjoyed the venue and the artist. I will never go back again, however. I have tried for several months to speak with the general manager about a problem I had with the tickets issue for an earlier show not the later I one I purchased on line. All the staff have been evasive or dismissive leaving me out of $125. he credit card company suggested I work with the club rather than void the purchase. So much for that advice as this is the most unprofessional organization I have encountered in many years of concert going. The general manager obviously needs a refresher course in customer service as he sets the tone for his staff. Thanks Marc for your efforts. But, my conclusion is that I will patronize the Birchmere, Howard Theater, 930 Club and other new venues before I would ever set foot in the Rams Head Annapolis again. I will share my experience with all I know. Charlene

Excellent service, food, and a perfect job for my friends wedding. The waitress was hands down very helpful, kind and very accommodating to my group. The room they had us in was the tea room and was next to the outdoor band which was excellent. I loved this room because we had privacy but also were able to open the side door to listen to the band and be part of the fun in the outdoor seating area. The food was excellent. I had the shrimp and grits and they were as good as they make it down south. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits for anyone in the mood for them, you will not be disappointed. The steak was cooked perfectly, my friend ordered his steak medium and it was the perfect medium. The appetizers we ordered were all tasty my favorite was the crab dip! Great staff, great for a family gathering, wedding, or any event. The Bloody Marys, our wonderful waitress maid and they were strong and the right mixture

I wish I could agree with the people saying that the food is bad, but it baffles me. They are three for three in my book. Two times we have ordered takeout, and once have gone in. The service was nothing spectacular as they were busy, but it was solid. But the food: excellent every time. They have an American fare menu, but its actually quite imaginative separating themselves from national chains like Applebees and TGIF -- at these places, imagination goes terribly wrong (fried green beans? no). Whoever puts Rams Heads menu together deserves a raise. Great food, great price point. Friends we have ordered with also agreed. And we are all a picky bunch. Those who had a bad time should go back in. I really wanted to not like this place based on the reviews, but my guess is bad brings reviewers out more than good -- just wanted to balance that out with some much deserved praise.

Really, the food isnt very good. I eat at RH Tavern every once in a while, and the food is on par with most Annapolis restaurants. Its OK. I drink at RH more than I eat, and its a good place to drink. The beer is great, and reasonable in price during happy hour. I have to agree with many other reviewers that there are problems with their service staff. I have had LOOOOOOOOOONG waits for drinks, really long waits for food, and have been abandoned by a server who I guess forgot we were there. Also, a few times Ive started a meal with one server and then without warning in the middle of the meal the server changes. Im not talking a 3 hour crab feast here.. just your regular 45 minute to hour and a half meal. This is the only restaurant Ive ever experienced that has done this with any frequency.

Waited almost an hour and a half to be served our dinners in advance of a show. Service was highly disorganized. The Tavern scheduled a wait staff shift change at the same time patrons were arriving for dinner in advance of a show at Rams Head on Stage. The entertainment was great. The food was okay - french fries not hot, wrong salad dressing. The service was abysmal. In full disclosure, management did comp our meal for the extremely bad service. But that did not make for a nice evening out. Skip the Tavern, patronize Rams Head on Stage. There are better places to eat in Annapolis.

Having recently finished my World Beer Club Passport, Ive become intimately familiar with Rams Head while in Annapolis. Shoutout to a great bartending staff--especially Allen! These guys put on great events with live music and Beer Release parties on every first-Thursday of the month (4-7 PM, usually). And during happy hour, they give out tickets for free snacks with purchase of a beer. Definitely a must-visit in Downtown Annapolis for a beer. Favorite item on the food menu has to be the Hey-Mac Burger. Theres something awesome about Mac & Cheese on a burger!
