Nice reputable venue, but rated 2 because I dislike paying $13 for 16 fl.oz. domestic beer served warm. I come here to let loose and enjoy myself and rock out with my rooster out (responsibly of course... Uber: 4he48ue Lyft: Roseanna39521 ) **** WARNING**** -------------EXCESSIVELY LONG THAT BELOW THIS POINT! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK--------------------- I have seen the price of the beer rise to $13 from $4 over 15 years. Sadly, the price increase was at the cost of quality of product quality of service. I never said anything before because I simply didnt notice. We have all been trained to lower our standards and concede to the rules of supply and demand. It wasnt until recently that I figured out what I was demanding wasnt being supplied. As our world is becoming more instant, our demands are literally at our finger tips and we now have options. When I saw the beer was $13 I subconsciously started weighing my options, but with no re-entry to the venue I had no options..... So my mind went off the deep end stayed creating options for me.....drink or no drink....Beer or no beer.... have a drink or quit my job on Monday.... wait... what? (Thought)[If I have 3 beers tonight, thats $39 or... thats 2 1/2 hours at my dead-end job where I am constantly reassuring my insecure boss that he is "doing a GREAT job" ****smile**** reassuring as I continue to correct his mistakes... discreetly (because God forbid this already insecure man get the notion that I may be better at his job than he is). The job where I pretend to have common interests with the ego in office to left of me, the tool in the second cubicle, the adrenaline junkie sales rep, but MOST importantly the bosses pet (who doesnt seem to have an actual job or purpose for her presence aside from maintaining a certain amount of constant pressure from her lips to the bosss ass at all times.) I sometimes pretend to envy their co-dependent relationship because its a perfect smoke screen... For my stealthy attack. I hit them both with atomic mind bombs and passive-aggressive comments disguised as praises and compliments so that I can get a kick out of using their stupidity as my entertainment. My favorite is the land-mind bombs. (These work when I speak such a subtle insult, that I can walk back to my office and sit at my desk and watch them as they stop in their tracks and realize that I may have insulted them, but yet they dont quite believe I would deliberately devise such an attack. As they question it, they slowly turn and look at me, I suppose they are looking for me to say "gotcha" or something catchy, but no.... thats not my style... I carry on as if I said nothing or of the ordinary. This is when the bomb is detonated... when suspicion meets deniability. Ha ha ha ha)] Yes I will have three beers because it serves dual purpose... celebrating my victory in surviving another work week and preparing for the work week that is to come. I will probably repeat the same thought process every time I come here to see my favorite band, unwind from my hectic week and enjoy an overpriced, underrefridgerated domestic beer until the price is so high it offsets the work:play ratio enough for me to deem the beer "not worth the price". At which point I will definitely choose to stop next time at the nearest "convenience store" and thoroughly enjoy paying $1.75 for 16 fl.oz. domestic beer served as it was intended... ice cold. Eventually more people will do the same. As it gets harder to move the warm beer, eventually the price will come down. Until then I raise a toast to the people who relentlessly exploit the laws of supply and demand.... "Heres to settling... for now... until something else will do... or until our option is assigned to us"

In as far as the Pavilion Staff are being graded, I can only draw on three very clear examples of Staff individuals on 6-12-2016. On one particular occasion, a Staff kid named "Austin," who was very rude to me and pushed the limits of good customer service. At one point placing his hand on me, telling me to turn around from where I was headed, and go back to my Sec 102, Row K, seats 9 & 10. Our family was split up. From the isle way that separates Sec 101 from 102, and from my Row K to our familys Row H, it is unconscionable for us not to say hi to our family, and be denied by "Austin." What a punk. Our VIP Section, 10 Rows back, stage center, being allowed to leave on break between bands, by walking the shorter distance over to Row 1 and exit. But upon return denied to retrace our steps, except to be admonished and told to go out of your way from Row 27 (out of your way), then make your way forward. TOTALLY INCONVENIENT, but more importantly, being treated as scum. The Staff members attitude treating us as if we were at a Zombie concert. We were dressed in a smart casual way, but more importantly, we live 2 miles away, and personally pay taxes on the pavilion in our property taxes we pay. Another occasion, my wife showed her iPhone ticket purchase with our Section seat assignments, and she was denied entrance, saying she was required to use the paper ticket, even though the ticket issuer reassured this was acceptable. We deserve a formal apology, and retraining needs to be done for two of the three individuals we had bad experiences with; the third, "Austin," just needs to be fired.

Purchased tickets on the grass. I had no problem but my husband was uncomfortable cuz theirs no shade your on a slope so getting in and out of rental chair bothered him plus all the stairs. So next tickets we bought we purchased assigned seats. We were on the left side but in the middle aprox 18 seats on are right and the same amount on right. We could barely breath we were packed like sardines. The big fans under the awnings werent turned on so everyone was sweating like pigs way before the concert started. I couldnt take it. 20 mins into the concert I had to get some air. Theirs no place for you to go except where the vendors are outside from the concert area . we paid $175.00 for each ticket bought 2 .We ended up leaving thats how miserable it was. Never saw Tom Petty. I always loved Joe Walsh and could barely enjoy. all could of been avoided if they turned on the fans so us FANS could have a little circulation of air. It was like being under a tarp in the sun. Were not spring chickens anymore. Spending almost $400 and all you can think about is how long youll be able to tolerate the conditions. Well that just SUCKS. and it did. If you partyed like we did in the 70s you would of been taken out in a stretcher. Theirs no words on how disapointing it was. Now my husband wont eke me to see my favorite bands Thanks Woodlands.

Went to Cynthia woods Mitchell pavilion for my first concert, twenty-one pilots July 5, 2016. I had never been here for anything before and I had my concerns because of our seats being on the lawn. It was not too far away from the stage. I was worried I wouldnt see them at all or hear them that well but I did, very well! Of course I prefer closer seats which Ill strive for next time but it was an amazing experience!! TOP was absolutely wonderful and the pavilion was a great location for this concert and I will never forget this experience. Oh I wont forget they had lawn chairs for rent 6$, I didnt think we should since its a concert well be standing majority of the time. Big water bottles 2 cost us 7.50$ not too terrible considering how hot and thirsty we were. Grass didnt make me itchy, I have eczema and I did sweat but I hardly became itchy so I dont know if the grass is fake or treated but it was okay to sit on for several hours. The lines could use more organization thats for sure..looked like one giant blob of people rather than actual lines for entry. Restrooms not terribly far so thats good. Parking far but not unreasonably considering the venue, nice scenery too.
