Security Concerns: Multiple reviews highlighted concerns about crowd control and security measures. The venue was criticized for not having an organized system for letting people into the main stage area, leading to pushing and shoving.
Staff Interaction: There were mixed reviews about the staff. Some found them friendly and efficient, especially at the will-call window and the bar. Others felt that the security staff was unhelpful and indifferent to crowd management issues.
Entry and Waiting Time: The waiting time for security checks was generally around 10 minutes, even for sold-out shows. However, the line management was criticized for being disorganized.
Venue Layout: The venue was described as spacious with a good amount of walking room, even during sold-out events.
Ticket Prices: Tickets were generally considered reasonably priced, especially for shows featuring multiple artists.
Bar and Beverage Costs: The bar prices received mixed reviews. Some found them to be expensive, with specific mentions of high prices for whiskey.
Music and Performances: The venue hosts a variety of artists and bands, and the setting was described as intimate yet large enough for bigger name artists.
Bar Service: The bar service was generally efficient, but the line could get long during packed shows.
Proximity to Other Establishments: The venue is located near other bars, making it convenient for pre-show activities.
Transportation: The area is becoming increasingly safer, and there are easy transportation options like the B-Cycle station nearby.
Sound System: The sound system received mixed reviews. Some found it to be good, while others criticized it for being too loud or having poor acoustics.
Cleanliness: The venue was generally found to be clean, and the air conditioning was effective in keeping the space cool.
If you want to get closer to the stage, consider standing to the far right behind where the downstairs bar is located.
To avoid long bar lines, find out the set times and hang out at nearby bars before the show starts.

Crowd control is a joke! Basically if you show up 5 hours before the show it doesnt matter, because when you are let into the lounge area they make you dissolve the line and people push their way to the front to get in front of those that had been waiting in line for hours. The security guy standing at the double doors to the main stage area in the lounge was asked why they were letting people just cram up to the front and why they dissolved the line and he said that it is not his job to figure out who has been in line for hours and who hasnt. When the doors opened to the main stage area people were pushed, pulled and shoved out of the way and their only attempt at trying to make people not get trampled was just yelling, "Dont Run!". When people were already running and being aggressive. I was pretty freaked out and felt unsafe. I will never go to this venue again until they get a better system for allowing a line to enter the venue safely and with order.

My least favorite concert venue in Houston. I have seen many bands here (in all 3 of their rooms), and I always dread when the act is placed in the main ballroom. It gets incredibly crowded, attendees always seem pushy, and its almost impossible to see anything. And I am average height, the stage just seems so low to the ground! Bar lines for drinks are out of control long, and they charge for water! Absurd. Find out the set times and hang out at Little Woodrows across the street beforehand. I try to spend as little time in this place as possible. They book great bands, I just wish the viewing and bar experience was better. B-Cycle station nearby is an easy transportation option. Neighborhood is getting safer and safer (uh... yey EaDo gentrification??)

Ive been to concerts at just about every music venue in Houston and this has to be my favorite. The setting is intimate enough that you can really see the artist performing, but large enough that bigger name artists will still show up. If you really want to get to the front, I recommend going to the far right (if youre facing the stage) behind where the downstairs bar is. Youll be viewing the show from the side but you can usually get much closer. Only issue I have with the venue is that the line for the downstairs bar can get really long if its a packed show. Itd be a lot better if the bar was closer to the back. Favorite show Ive seen there - Dropkick Murphys, back in 2006 Least favorite show Ive seen - Lil B, last year

I picked up my tickets at the will-call station and they did not get confused by the fact that I bought 1 ticket through the artist and another through the actual venue itself. There was a pretty long line getting security checked but the wait itself was probably only 10 minutes. Once we got inside, despite being a sold out show there was a good amount of walking around room and I never really had to wait that long at the bar, although the bartender did look bored. Everyone slams on the sound system but it sounded pretty damn good to me. The dance floor itself was pretty clean so overall yeah I liked this place. I guess the only negative is that it really is this big concrete place, kinda ugly lol.

Attended Delta Spirit show July 16th, 2010 in the Studio room PROS: 1) Parking lot directly behind venue only $5! 2) Bar service was great (even with a crowd) 3) Air conditioning was cranked and kept us all cool 4) Staff at will-call window was friendly 5) Venue was clean and non-smoking 6) Bumped into 2 of the 3 bands and got to say howdy CONS: 1) Sound was OK but not great (1st band was WAY TOO LOUD for such a small venue---that always seems the case in small venues...lead guitar was ear-splitting) 2) Bought two whiskeys (Glenlivet) and paid a whopping $16! I suppose that theyre charging $4-a-shot, and both glasses probably had 2 shots each. Next time, Ill stick with Shiner.

Went here for the first time to see Kehlani. Love the venue it has a lot of character and there are some great bars next to it to pre game before your concert (Luckys pub has great apps and drinks). The line was crazy long at first but when the doors opened it moved really fast. Drinks inside were a bit pricey but thats to be expected at concerts. The concert itself was Amazing! The openers were so good and Kehlani killed it. The price was only $50 to see 3 amazing artists at a small venue such a good deal. I love intimate venues because the artist vibes more with the crowd and you can actually see them up close. Definitely would see more here.

Venues come and go. Warehouse Live has managed to stick around and host some of the better acts to come through. Their team is always interactive online and that helps. As for being there, well, were all there for a show. Youll have your good crowds and your bad. Staff is somewhat available to you, though they do make sure to take care of the bad apples without ruining others experience. Their bar prices are ok. Not the best or worst. $9.00 for a Lone Star beer and a shot of well whiskey (for reference) the last time I was there. Just keep hosting the good acts and Ill keep coming back. Definitely among one of the better venues.

I purchased tickets for the July 8th Mos Def concert through a promoter. Mos Def cancelled that show, but rescheduled for a later date for which we could use the same tickets (late august i believe). Guess what, cancelled that one too! Problem is, i still have not gotten a refund. Spoke with numerous people, but nobody has my money. Lots of finger pointing, and run-arounds! At this point I am done with warehouse live and their unprofessional businesses practices. All Im asking for is the money that I paid to see a show at their venue returned to me since the show never happened. I think that is more than fair.

I took my daughter and a friend, both middle-schoolers, to the Boys like Girls concert (with 4 other bands). Most of the audience was similarly young. I had taken my daughter to see Boys like Girls previously without issue and did not expect profanity-laced and sexually charged performances by the third band (The Maine) or the fourth band (Cobra starship). These bands, and the venue management, should know their audience! I asked for my money back while The Maine was on stage and was refused. Again when Cobra Starship was on stage. Refused. Parents, be aware of what bands your kids are seeing!

Ive been to a few venues in my 16 years on this earth and I absolutely love it! The people that work there are totally nice and care a lot about the people who are attending the concerts. The place is a cool place to go see music. I really do enjoy going there. I would definitely go there again. Ive been there a couple of times and I havent been disappointed. I definitely wanna go again to go see some people perform. Also, its a small place, pretty much a hole in the wall, so you know youre not gonna see a lot of people there, or least thats what Ive noticed.

Ive been to concert venues all over the country and heard the best and the worst sounding venues and this is by far one of, if not, THE worst Ive ever been to. Security was scarce, rude, lazy and all around bad. However the acoustics were the worst part. Its a giant empty hall with metal EVERYWHERE and no signs of attempted improvement. With TWO speakers on the stage at the very front to amplify the whole place. Ridiculous. Its like a tiny tweeter playing through a tin can. Absolutely horrible. 0.01 stars. And that is cause the drinks were decent.
