My children (6 and 7) and I went to this pool/water park(?). I paid $30 for us to get in and was completely dissapointed in this place. First of all, the slide that is for the younger children isnt well thought out...as every child who came out of this slide banged their head. It doesnt allow them to sit up in the slide. Which most children want to sit up while sliding. The pool was packed with all ages, so it was hard for younger kids to play while pre-teens and teenagers were just all over the place as well. I think the play ground should have a height requirement like the slide does. My child was not tall enough to go down the slide, yet the equipment meant for her had 16 yr old boys all over it?!?! Another complaint is the food. When a customer orders fries and chicken strips and has to wait almost 20 minutes for them, only to have burnt fries and under cooked chicken is a shame. I spent $7.50 on a meal that wasnt even worth $3. I think you guys are making enough of a profit with your overpricing to invest in some fryers and maybe expand your park a little more. We will not be attending this place ever again and I will make sure that people know that it isnt worth the money. Drop your prices down from $10 for an adult to $7. That is more reasonable.

This is the only public pool in Rowlett and as such, one would expect it to be a little nicer. The pool area seems to be maintained ok, but man, the bathrooms look like what I would find in a dive bar-not exactly the place that I want to take my little girl into! I dont mind the pools in terms of size and usage, but to be fair, as parents of a small child, we dont use all of the amenities. I will say though that I would NOT recommend the group swimming lessons. This is our second year and while the teachers are just as nice as can be, too many parents let their kids run around like banshees ruining the class for everyone else because the teachers are so busy trying to control the "wild children"..this is a tough job for any adult, but ask a teenager to try and teach wiggly little kids and keep safe naughty wiggly other kids-its too much! Our child is having fun but she is learning very little and I would not recommend these classes to other parents. Additionally, I will echo one of the other reviews-just to get into the pool to play is absolute highway robbery! Too pricey!

Went there on a Groupon. Luckily we arrived at the opening. An hour and a half later they closed the main area saying the water was cloudy and they didnt know when or if it would reopen today. The only part still open was the main pool, which was too deep for the small children. The groupon had included a hot dog, bag of chips and a souvenir cup. They were all out of souvenir cups and instead gave us a large cup and said refills would be $1.00. Feel that we should have at least received 1 free refill since the regular cost of a souvenir cup is $4.00 and a large drink is only $2.50. Definitely disappointed. Not sure if we will return here. After waiting another hour and a half, they still hadnt reopened the rest of the park and still were not sure if they would. In the future we will seek out another park to go to!

We moved here from Arizona which has a ton of public swimming pools. They are clean and cheep. So I figured since Wet Zone was a public pool it would be similar. When we fist got there I took my girls to the bathroom and half of the door would not close and more than half of the toilets didnt even have toilet paper. There was no employees anywhere even attempting to clean. I found the same outside. Threre where bees everywhere because people couldnt throw away there trash. All the patio furniture had spider webs on them that have probable been there since they opened the park. All they needed to do was wash them off. So since I got in on half day price I would have been even more upset if I had paid 60 dollors to get in. Next time I will pay more and go to Hawiian falls where I can at least find a clean bathroom.

This weekend we celebrated my sons 9th birthday at Wetzone. Let me tell ya, it was the absolute best, most stress free party weve ever had! I have 3 kids and have thrown birthday parties every where you can think of, and no matter what Im a frazzled mess before it even starts, completely unrecognizable by the end of it. But Wetzones birthday party package and out hostess (Nadia) made it so easy for me and loads of fun for my son and his friends. They supply EVERYTHING! Even the cake!!!!! And it actually tasted good! Every single person that came has repeatedly commented to me how much fun they had (even the adults!) and that they were definitely going to put Wetzone on the top of the list when they plan parties for their own kids. 5 stars!!!

I do hope they clean the womens restrooms soon (moldy shower/stalls). Also, I wish they would monitor the proper swim attire. Most public pools have a strict code on what can be worn and ask each patron to shower before entering water. Numerous occasions Ive witnessed people in street clothes in the pool, boys wearing underwear under their swimsuits (who knows how long theyve had their dirty underwear on) and too many daycares at one time (over-crowding the pools). This became a hazard for my kids. I was hoping this place would be a bit more taken care of because we want a small town, clean vibe. If I dont see a change this season, we will not renew our membership for next year.

Love this place. Kids always have a blast! You can bring a fully stocked cooler so you dont need to buy food or drinks while you are there which really saves money. The kids that work as life guards are very nice and usually, except for the days when the summer camps come, it is not super crowded. My only issue is that when summer camps come in, it gets way too crowded and my kids and I keep getting bumped into, kicked and get an ear full of language they shouldnt be speaking and my kids shouldnt be hearing. I wish they could limit the amount of summer camps/public that are allowed in at a time to limit the amount of people in at a time. Too crowd = accidents.

It was nice place but my daughter hurt her toe on the slide. The floor of the pool has things that hurt your feet when you step on them or stub your toe. Its very small water park and only has two slides. The smaller kids are not are not allowed to get on the slide. It has sprinklers for small kids and a kiddie swim area. You can bring your own cooler and food but no glass. They have concession stand but its expensive $2.75 for a hotdog and drinks are over $2.00 each. Admission was $10.50 for adults and $8.50 for smaller children 2 and under are free. I do not believe I will be returning to this water park.
