We visited over the weekend. Our first complaint was as soon as we got there and were trying to unload our young kids there were several people standing around smoking in a clearly marked NO SMOKING AREA! When we were trying to find our rooms it seemed like there were a lot "sketchy" people walking around. After a little research we found out the hotel was hosting a "Narcotics Anonymous convention"!! We thought this was suppose to be a very "family friendly hotel"! We had three toddlers under the age of 4 with us. On one elevator trip people were cussing loudly dropping F bombs every other word, in front of our young kids! When we checked in I heard the lady tell the man in front of us that the water slides would be closing due to bad weather outside(the slides run outside and inside). She didnt say anything to us when we checked in, so we thought ok thats fine our kids are small so we dont care about those slides. We got our kids dressed and headed to the water park to find out they CLOSE THE ENTIRE WATER PARK for bad weather!! They told us theyd be opening back up at 4(that was a 3 hour wait). Thankfully we wanted to do the arcade anyway so we played at the very OUTDATED arcade for a few hours. Dont go to the arcade with toddler games in mind, none of the games were "toddler friendly". Once the water parked reopened our kids did have fun. The life guards pay no attention to what is going on around them! The toddler pool was WAY OVER CROWDED, there were many bigger kids that shouldnt have even been in there rough housing and at one point hit my daughter in the head with a ball they were throwing around! Of course no parents around to tell them to stop! Finally after an hour a life guard did kick them out. We decided to try the restaurant for dinner that evening since our kids were hungry and very tired! WHATEVER YOU DO DONT WASTE TIME AT THE RESTAURANT!! The menu only has about 10 things on it, they didnt even have a kids menu printed up! We ordered drinks and our waitress never came back, we had to finally ask another waitress for our drinks then our waitress came back with them. We asked how long it took to get food since it took 10 minutes to get drinks. She informed us it was very quick (never once mentioning a buffet). We ordered an app to hold our kids over to dinner. 30 minutes later our food came out and our app... that we wanted before hand. Two of the four meals were incorrect! The manager came over and he was completely WORTHLESS! He told us our app would be free since we didnt get it before hand, he had the kitchen remake the two meals that were wrong one came out within minutes the other came out as we were ready for our checks. Our waitress never came back we again had to ask someone else for our checks!!! We asked the manager for our checks, we then heard him ask another waitress BECAUSE HE DIDNT EVEN KNOW HOW TO PRINT A TICKET!!! ALL AROUND IT WAS HORRIBLE SERVICE, the food was ok. As we were leaving we found out they had a buffet that we could have eaten at!! Our rooms were clean other then the carpet is DISGUSTING!! The next morning as we were walking to our car there were three employees standing outside a door smoking weed (we know because it has a very distinct smell). ALL AROUND I WOULD NOT SUGGEST TO ANYONE TO WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS HOTEL/WATER PARK.

Their customer service and communication between staff is horrible. We didnt even get the opportunity to go inside and try to enjoy the water park because they messed up so bad. Made a reservation weeks ago, asked for a room that included park passes. Was told they were included with our room, I asked if they gave a military discount. Which they did so that was great. When I called a few days ago to confirm. They could not find it. Took 20 minutes on the phone going back and forth with the lady to find my reservation. Once we finally found it, I asked about the passes again to confirm. She said no passes were included because we were receiving the military discount and we dont get 2 discounts. I explained to her how nobody informed me of this when I made the reservation. She said that I made it through central booking and they handle many hotels and dont know all the specifications. I said then they shouldnt be making the reservations or offering discounts if they dont know the stipulations. I checked into cost of just park passes and not staying at the hotel since they were no longer included. They seemed to be a more reasonable priced so we chose to go that route. I called the waterpark 2 days before we went, to check about them letting the public in if they hit capacity. She said they have hit capacity on every Saturday for the past month by 1pm. So if we were planning on going on saturday, to arrive when they open at 9 to make sure we got in before they reached their limit and had to turn people away. We drove 2 hours saturday morning, arriving at 9:15am. Barely any cars in the parking lot only to find a sign on the door stating only hotel guests could go into the waterpark. They were at capacity and would not be selling any passes to the public. My husband went in a spoke with them, explained to them what their staff told us. He said sorry, nothing he can do. They made the decision thursday evening and put the info out to staff on friday. Mind you, the hotel only had a few rooms left on Wednesday when I talked to the lady about the reservation and when I talked to the park on Thursday they had to be almost sold out as well. Yet no one bothered to tell me that if the hotel sells out, then they do not allow public passes to be sold. So we cancelled our reservation thinking we could get in, only to find that we drove 2 hours one way for nothing.I have never had so many issues with a hotel and such poor communication to the public. I called more than enough times and spoke to numerous people that I should have known that if the hotel sells out, public passes would not be sold. And the gentlemans simple sorry is all I got with all the trouble we dealt with. Will never even attempt to go there again.

We stayed here at coco keys for the weekend of March 10th it was really busy staff at check in was phenomenal and very helpful we got to our room turned on the heat and it was only blowing cold air even when we put it up on 80. I called down to the guest services and they got someone up to our room right away the heating board went out so they immediately got us a new room. We had spent over a thousand dollars for the rooms and booked a party. Our party was set for 5pm on Saturday and we did not get our party room till 5:20ish I was not impressed at all with how the party went as I thought there would be an attendant to assist but was I wrong the brought our things in gave us one serving spatula for the pizza and said he would be back with more for the other pizza and cake but never showed up. Then when 6pm came around they wanted us out of the room and hadnt even brought in the kids birthday gifts yet. Did not check on us at all to see if we needed any more drinks or food. I kept running back and fourth trying to get spatulas to go boxes the kids gifts exc. I will never book a party there with them again it was not worth spending over a thousand dollars to have everything not right. And they were very rude and we waited way to long for everything asked for. Just for the 2 small boxes we asked for to put the remainder of the pizza in took 20 minutes. Thats not acceptable for me. Then there were people complaining on my son walking around with his starwars costume on. He would not hurt anyone at all and he really enjoys kids and thought it would be fun to show off. He didnt mean any harm at all so for those of you who were offended Im sorry. And for those of you who enjoyed getting your kids pictures with him he really enjoyed the attention. Its not very often you see people willing to have a good time and try to brighten up the day so thank you to all who enjoyed him. Yes we had 10 people and 5 kids but what is a motel like this for just adults to have fun No its for family and I hope if this guy that left a review was talking about our kids screaming and running down the halls at 6 am I hope he looks another direction because it wasnt us. Anyways the water park was a blast there is plenty for everyone to do and all of us enjoyed the water. It was a great stay for the most part but Im not willing to ever spend that much money again. Thank you to all the front check In counter staff you all did a great job and was fast considering the lines you all did a wonderful job!!!
