I just became a new member—again! Yep! I enjoyed playing Oakhurst when this interesting layout was known as Bentwood Golf Club. I continued to play when it was sold some years ago to the current owner, but dropped out of golf for the past few years. Wanting to get back into golf, I joined the Player Development Program at the Senior rate, $42 per month with no initiation fee.There are some restrictions on times of day, holidays and weekends that I can play, but the schedule works great for me because I still work most mornings. Also, my new membership includes unlimited range balls every day the range is open which I guess is about 300+ days a year, and free clinics, 10% discounts on merchandise and 10% discount for my guests. And, I got a bonus! Besides being able to play this really fun but challenging course [depending on which tees you play from] , my membership also includes golf privileges at the owners other course in Kingwood— King Cove. This is a nice older course and the layout is quite different than Oakhurst. This adds a lot of variety for a golfer that is significantly below the higher prices at Kingwoods private golf courses. So, I got two courses to play for the price of one and both are equadistance from my home in Kingwood. Excited to be back on the course!

The course is very well manicured. The greens are bumpy and patchy on some. The price is ridiculous. We went there on a Holiday. There were only 4 or 5 cars in the parking lot, which is to be expected on a holiday. The price was $54 a person. No way! We thought we would just hit balls. $9 a bucket. Much better courses dont charge that. We left and went to Newport golf club in Huffman. Granted the course is not as nicely manicured and the greens arent as fast. But the rate was $19 and the balls were $4. The fairways were perfect. Nice layout too.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! Waited out the first rain shower 15 minutes. We waited for 20 minutes on the second, finally gave up and went back to the pro shop to get a rain check. We were soaked .The course was soaked. The owner REFUSED to give us a rain check. What Kind Of Service Is that? RAIN is not enough to get a RAIN CHECK. Really disappointing. Doesnt matter now, because we wont be back. He got that $100 from us, but hell never see another $1 from us and hopefully anyone else who reads this.

Average golf course for the price, but not accomidating. I went out as a single on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait 45 minutes to get off. Pretty crazy considering I saw multiple three somes go off. Overall this is a nice layout with tree lined fairways. Green are in decent shape. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to play a decent golf course with challenges along the way. Some good risk reward holes as well.

Have played here several times. Course is always in decent shape. Even though it is surrounded by houses fairways are wide enough that it takes an extreme hook or slice for them to come into play. Some water and lots of sand traps. Good value.

This place has not only seen its better days it almost seems expired. The greens were rolling about a 5 and the fairways looked like a chicken nugget. Should be around $25 wkdy and $35 weekend at best. I would rather go play bingo.

Very good golf course! Great condition, service and food!! Played many tournaments here and the pace of play is great!!! Well managed facility and great value!!!! Great community as well and would love to live here. 6 stars!!!!!!

Nice club with a good course. Afternoon rates are pretty decent. Pretty easy to get through on weekdays. Weekends can get busy.
