Fun balloon ride, but the rest of the "Great" Park has nothing to do. Get there half an hour before they open so you can put your name on the waiting list and get a pager to be notified when its your turn. Call ahead to see if weather (clouds/wind) might delay/prohibit the balloon from flying that day. Follow the orange/white checkered path all the way from the parking lot to the balloon office to get your tickets. Theres a farmers market with food trucks on Sundays at 10am.

The balloon is so cool! I took my 5 yr old. We had fun. It doesnt move around but your in the air just long enough to see around. Theres also a carousel and other fun places to play for kids. You can buy a bracelet for unlimited rides for the carousel. Kids are free to ride the balloon with a paid adult. It cost $10. There was a museum but we didnt go in. There is a lot of parking.

I brought my friends here while they were visiting Orange County. I think we got there late or there was wait time, but in any case we had to take the last ride of the day. Im terrified of heights so I may or may not do it again. Its still attached to a cable so the balloon doesnt float off. You get a great view of Orange County though!

Always Be sure to Call Ahead to see if the Balloon is running that day. Due to strong winds and maintenance, the balloon is usually grounded. But that doesnt mean the trip is wasted, there are plenty of things to do around if the balloon is down. But the ride overall is quite enjoyable, a nice rush & great views.

This balloon has been a pretty big waste of park money. The view is OKAY (it will probably be a lot better once the rest of the park is finished), and it certainly is the center of the park, but its really not necessary. I do like how they make it look like a pumpkin around Halloween though :D

Great place to come if you in the area. Its free to go up in the ballon. Just sign some waivers and you are good to go. You can also bring dogs on it. There are other things to see all around here. Theres a carousel and its free. Everything here is free!!!!! And at the same time fun.

Had a good time in here.. Only problem is with the wind. Need to check on it as they would cancel the rides if there would be any medium to high winds... The best time to visit is in the afternoons of the weekday as there would be less public and can have a view in day-light

Had a great experience. Visitors center staff was friendly and informative. The balloon crew was nice and helped my family take a group photo. $10 per person for a 15min ride. The park itself is family friendly.

Pretty cool. Never know of ur gonna actually ride or not though which is frustrating. Took me 3 visits before I actually got to ride. They close down alot and with little or no notice.

Great place to spend at least half day...be there by 9-9.30 AM for the balloon ride as after that, the winds pick up and the balloon is grounded. Carousel is entertaining.
