The sound was A+. I wanted to get that in first. Their surround sound leveling was spot on. Even a lot of major brand theaters frequently have poorly leveled sound, but the sound was well balanced and was very immersive for Captain America: Civil War. Nice cinema from a lesser known chain. Their seating is more old-school traditional seating that gradually slopes up and I prefer more stepped stadium seating, but it was nice and we were able to see the movie without any problems.

This theatre is the one off only two theaters in Galveston. I believe the other theatre is at Moody Gardens. A few of the screens in this theatre suffer from sound issues with a lot of rattling being present. You can often hear a lot of the sound from other screens in this theatre as well. These seem to be the biggest downfalls for this theatre besides the screens not being very large. But this smaller sized theatre might be just what the Galveston clientele needs.

MY FAVORITE SMALL TOWN THEATER. The theater has a vintage, legacy feel. Laid back, wonderful staff who talk to you and looks you in the eye. I LOVE this theater. Like going to the movies in the 60s. Just a few dozen yards from the beach. If I have a complaint, its that the local customers think its ok to come up to me after the movie and ask me what I thought. I DONT TALK TO STRANGERS!!! As well-intentioned and polite as they appear to be.

Considering the options, or lack there of, on the island, this is a great place for an affordable movie night. I havent heard of other places doing free refill on large drinks or popcorn, so that is definitely a plus. I happen to like the smaller theaters like this. With that being said, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a high class place, you might want to leave the island. I prefer convenience.

This isnt a "fancy" theater and it doesnt boast state of the art equipment. In other words, dont come here to watch Avatar 2 in 3D, etc. However, its relatively clean, its convenient, the clientele is fine, and best of all it is almost never crowded. Aside from a few occasions where theyve cropped the edges of the movie (which really bugs me, but your mileage may vary), theyre fine.

The lines are never too long. The movies are current. And they occasionally have religious dramas. The prices are average for a movie theater. The staff is efficient. . The better side. The restrooms are a little crummy, but generally the theater is clean and attractive. The popcorn is good enough for refills. Refills of large popcorn and drink are free!

Premiere Cinema is always clean, my main requirement to go anywhere. The audio is loud enough to block out low conversations but not so loud to be annoying. Nice bass, clear voices. The video is always pristine as well. Large screen, always clear. The theatre is always clean, no musty smells.

They treat the black employees different from the white. The manger Dawn and Rachel is very rude. They let the whites get more hours than the black. They will write you up for any little thing. I wouldnt recommen no teens to work there if your black. Unless you want to be Dawn and Rachel slave.

This is a really nice small town theater. Great prices for shows and their plastic to-go cups for drinks and popcorn are great. For a whole year you can use it to get refills for $2.50 each. We always go when its not busy and get really good seats. Dont pass this theater up.

Its a nice, mid-size theater with reasonable prices and decent seats. Usually not too terribly busy and far enough away from everything that you wont be stuck in traffic or unable to find a parking space, like many theaters located near major shopping centers or malls.

It has that 90s vibe. Thats a good thing. No reclining chairs or buttons to order food in your seat; but the seats are comfortable, the popcorn taste good, and the staff is friendly. We saw Annabelle Creation and the sound system did not disappoint. I will return.

The experience and movie was great, but there was a roach in the theater where we were. It was kind of hard to focus on the movie cause I was worried about where the next roach would pop out. But overall good seats, and cheap tickets. Just the "insect" problem

It was empty on the Monday we went. 3 stars because we wanted hotdogs and we had to wait 10 minutes to be made. The cashier had an attitude. The other thing was we could hear the movie next door to us. Sound proofing walls is important for a movie theater.

From the looks on the outside youd think its very outdated. I was skeptical of the place but once I went in I was impressed at how well they handle this theater. Its clean and they have great service. So happy to have a theater on the island.

Theaters are a little small but its cozy. Went in to see GotG2 in 3D, and the first few minutes of the movie werent in 3D, but it was fixed quickly. Food and drink were a little pricy but thats to be expected of a movie theater.

I visited this theater to see the movie "Fences" upon release. The theater was extremely small, and the sound system was faulty as best. Throughout the movie there was this continuous buzzing, and constant bass distortion.

Clean...great staff...affordable. The big 3 for me. I would have liked a better concession menu but all the main stuff was on hand and they happily threw on a hot dog for my wife. A little old but had a bit of a game room :)

The Premiere Cinema staff is friendly, efficient and honest. My son dropped his wallet in the theater one night. The staff found it and returned it the next day with all of the contents untouched. Thanks, Premiere!

Rundown and offers no student or military discounts, my living room theatre offers a better experience than the picture here. Not very friendly staff either, Ill save my money for Harkins next time.

I love this movie theater. They have the best notches. After watching a movie there, I often walk across the street to Jimmys Pier and enjoy an evening listenning to the waives of the beach.

Very nice theater. Good popcorn. Comfortable and clean theaters. Friendly employees. Best feature of all, though, is that its seldom crowded and the ticket prices are comparably reasonable.

Theyre the only movie theater on the island so they really dont have to be great (no competition), but they go that extra mile anayway. The people here are always great.

It aint anything out of the norm. Just your average theatre. Prices are what you would expect to pay. Maybe even cheaper. Seats are par. Popcorn is average day to day.

Small theater by todays standards, but great place to see a movie if you are on the island. Typically not very crowded, easy to get to most movies any time of day.
