We went early to watch free documentary. We were the last ones in the first row. The young man passed out tickets and vouchers. Some asked for extra tickets/vouchers and they got them. The tickets/vouchers ran out for the last four people. We were asked to move to the second row and to the front. The young man said that his manager had 20 extra tickets/vouchers for HIS FRIENDS AND HIS RELATIVES. We purchased $22 worth of expensive snacks: large popcorn, large sprite, and two boxes of candy. We were the very few that purchased any snacks. As we waited for the managers interview to end, my wifes arthritic legs started to hurt. To verify this statement, check the photographers picture of the crowd. We were told to come back the next day. As we passed by the white haired manager with our expensive snacks, he was passing out his reserved tickets for "friends" and "relatives". We went to our car parked in the handy cap section with our snacks. The radio advertisement said nothing about limited seats or the manager will be handing out reserved tickets for his friends and relatives. Maybe I should write a memo to President Trump and have him fired too.

Absolutely annoying. A while back my boyfriend and I were waiting inside sitting on the bench, doing nothing but holding hands, hugging and talking. The managers or ushers kept staring at us and one of them told the cop to tell us to leave, or wait outside. So we did. Now today we just finished watching the Blair witch, and me and my bf were standing outside waiting for our rides, again hugging and talking. And the manager in the ticket booth radios the cop to tell us to wait inside or leave. So which one is it? I cant hug my boyfriend inside the movies nor outside, yet they allow a bunch of screaming kids to run around outside. The employees and managers are stupid, the security is stupid. Not even worth wasting money there. Tinseltown in mission doesnt even do this to us. Id prefer to go there rather than this ill-serviced theater.

We used to enjoy going to this theater, however, lately fire alarms have been going off quite frequently (seems like pranks) but who knows. Usually they will give tickets for another showing, this time I requested my money back and was given the hardest time. Even had a police officer intervene like I was gonna start a riot. Helloooo, how about spot the parking lot and solve the car burglaries and do what youre supposed to do rather than try to calm me down. Was really excited to see Avengers, after the The Hulk made his debut the alarm went off so I have no idea what happens. Same thing happened with 2 other good movies. Good job though of the mcallen fire department answering the calls quickly.

This was a disgrace, my father left his phone in the movie theater by accident and when we call to verify if it was returned or if was in the theater the girl on the phone who claimed she was manager was extremely rude. She told me that it is me and my families job to go find the phone but that the theater was closed. She wouldnt even check to see if the phone was there. Now imagine my surprise when we show up and ask to see the manager and a guy come out and that the only girl there is cleaning behind the counter. We found the phone but as for customer service that was apparently lost.

We like this theater and we have always been greeted by friendly staff, screens are good and the colors on the movies are good calibrated and close to the 6500K color tone, one thing we have been noticing is that as this place start to show its age, we believe is lacking from the owners of this theater to start investing on upgrading this place, this will make a good theater with XD screens or even IMAX screen as soon the first IMAX screen will be offered at the Camike theatre on HWY 281 in Edinburg and this place may be soon forgoten..

I had the worst experience ever, Movie Theater is always dirty, people is using their cell phones during the show, if you complain they just dont care, I have talked to the manager and "security" personal but they just go look at the screen (not the people) and then left, I heard personally people using the dirtiest language ever and nobody cares, this movie theater should be in the ghetto or maybe theyre giving free passes to the unemployed and paroled people cause I do not have any clue why they just "run" a business like this

Horrible management. We purchased tickets for Anabel. When we went inside there were absolutely no seats. Everyone was reserving 3-4 seats. We went back out and spoke to Joe Soldan who was the manager that night. Asked if we could get ticket for the next day in the afternoon. Managers and workers refused to provide any help or service. Got our refund and left, AFTER purchasing $15 worth of snacks. Never coming here again.

Basically stole 50 dollars from us for being "underage" but last time I came did the same brought my parents and all and let me in .but now we told our friends dad to buy us tickets and two employes stalked him and embarrased in front of everybody and told us to get out .

The music volume and voices were so loud and poorly balanced it was difficult to understand parts of the dialogue. The volume exceeded the 85db much of the time. I had either to plug my ears with cotton or walk out. I stayed but Ive scratched that theatre off my list.

Right now with my husband we are getting to see the movie John Wick chapter 2 and we enjoyed it very much, the food was very good, the price was acceptable on tickets and food and the bathrooms were clean

By continually underpaying staff, they never could hire anyone that remembered to lock the back doors after taking out trash. This was really helpful as a broke highschool student. Keep at it Cinemark!

This is probably one of the least modern theaters in town, but I still love it because it shows movies the other cinemarks dont. Plus the always have free refills on the large popcorn here.

Every time we go here we have a good time. The staff is really friendly, the place is always clean and my kids love to play in the game room. Snacks are a bit expensive but is worth it.

I went once to watch passengers since they were sold out in weslaco and I liked it. It was big, the seats fold back (but idk if all the theaters seats do that now), and it was clean.

Really enjoy watching the movies here. The only complaint would be that sometimes the special effects sounds are really loud while voice of the actors can hardly be heard.

Restrooms are never clean. However, the staff is very friendly and is a popular hang out spot for locals. It is not as big as other theaters, but is good. Three stars.
