I have been here many times and even had a 30th birthday party here a few years back. I keep coming back for many reasons including the food, service and atmosphere. My most recent experience here was a surprise birthday party I put together for my wife with a lot of help from the manager Boyko. I knew what I wanted to do but needed guidance to actually make it happen. Boyko made this process extremely easy and helped in every single aspect. He made the food planning part easy and gave me a lot of helpful recommendations. He worked with me on the timing of everything and of course he was there to help that night with anything we needed. The service at 7 West is wonderful we had a dinner party of 15 where our server was awesome! She was extremely attentive and made sure everyone had what he or she needed. Not only was our server great but we also had an additional 30 guests come a few hours later and the service they received was great as well. The buffet that was set up was perfect and was fully stocked the entire night. The food is great at 7 West. I am an extremely picky eater yet I pretty much love everything they have. When you are here you need to get the seared ahi tuna, I can eat plate after plate of this. The dinner options are wonderful too. We had lamb chops, bronzini and crab cakes and each one was amazing. I was very happy to know that we had so much food left over because I got to enjoy it for the next few days. To sum everything up, 7 West is a wonderful place for a dinner, a night out or like in my case an event with amazing food, wonderful service and a fun atmosphere that will get any party started quickly. If you are looking to plan an event large or small than you absolutely need to check out 7 West, speak to Boyko and begin your planning. Once you do, you will now what I am talking about here and you will begin planning more and more events here once you see how great it is. Well. Its always hard to write a negative review when people are so nice, earnest, and genuinely seem interested in making sure youre ok. But, its a dining establishment and should be reviewed on that, and not on the friendliness of waiters, management, and staff. So, yes, waiters, management, and staff were top-notch, attentive, and just generally very good. But the food was terrible. Had artichoke spinach dip for an appetizer. It was ok, but no better than any bar that offers it. The beer and wine selection was inadequate. Im a beer guy, and apparently the taps were all broken somehow, so our choice was bottles. Which consisted of miller lite, bud light, coors light, atrocious stereotypical crap light, etc. The wine list? Awful. So, strike one there. I ordered the chicken souvlaki, my girlfriend ordered the crab cake. The sides - potatoes/green beans/broccoli. The chicken souvlaki was overcooked, dry, and unseasoned. It was literally worse than an old quarter pounder from McDs. I cant remember the last time I had an entree that bad. My potatoes were undercooked, the broccoli was overcooked and pillow soft, the green beans were.... green beans covered in Ragu. The crab cake was dense, but not good. At all. So, strike two and three and probably four. The dessert was good, but my feeling on that is kind of.. so what? Its like committing murder multiple times and then walking an old lady across the street. Sure, its nice, but it doesnt even things out. It seemed like a nice atmosphere and it could have been a really nice dinner, but at the end of the day, it was $75 spent in exchange for bad food. Could have bought two whopper meals at burger king and been happier. Sad, but true. I wont be going back and I wouldnt recommend it. Currently. Entirely possible that if they hired a new cook it would be a great place. I hope they do! Good location, nice atmosphere, nice staff, terrible food. Fix the last and it would be solid.

We have been going to 7 West Bistro for a few years now and love their weekend brunch menu so we decided to try them for our daughter’s baptism reception. We could not be happier. We were late on planning the reception and within less than a week, we worked with Boyko on menu selections and details such as napkin colors and was able to host the reception there for around 22 people. He really helped take the stress of planning a reception away. First, the food was incredible and our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. Second, if you have never been there, you will be surprised by the space… it’s so big and open inside and is really nice. This place is like a hidden gem. Almost all of our guests had never been there before or even heard of it and were just wowed by the space. Third, I was concerned about slow service considering we had several little ones that were going to be off their napping schedule and knowing how large of a party it was but the service was great! We had several of the wait staff working our party and they were super efficient with bringing out food and drinks. They kept everything moving right along and were very pleasant. We brought in our own cake and they took it back and had it sliced for everyone. At the end, they boxed up leftovers for us and we had enough leftovers that we were able to give guests food to take home. The pricing was very reasonable for all that we received. I highly recommend using 7 West Bistro for any kind of party or reception you might have but if you don’t have anything like that coming up, you MUST check them out for brunch or dinner sometime. The food is incredible, service is great, space is very nice and the management is easy to work with in planning everything.

My boyfriend, Josh, and I frequent 7 West on a regular basis whether it be in person, ordering carry-out or through Order Up. Since we live so close, it’s more economical for us to order carry-out rather than pay the delivery fee via Order Up. The Order Up service is most ideal during inclement weather or if we are being extremely lazy, but it is very convenient. The last order we placed was delivered very shortly after we ordered, and just as good as if it was served at the restaurant. We LOVE Monday burger night, and tend to plan group happy hours there as well. We are always bringing our friends there and telling others about the restaurant. My go-to meal is the Mediterranean salad with chicken. Josh often gets the lamb gyro. We are very fond of the wings and southwest eggrolls. Shock Top is by far our favorite beer. It’s also popular among our friends that go to 7 West. We were a bit surprised and disappointed when they stopped serving it. PLEASE bring it back ☺ The bartender service is top notch. Erin takes very good care of us and is one of the best bar tenders we know. She’s partially the reason we come there – we know we’ll get great, friendly service in a timely manner. When we have been at the restaurant, there have been several instances where the owner has greeted us and asked if everything was ok. I have always been impressed by that -- it shows that they really care about our experience at 7 West, and I really appreciate that. I have nothing but good things to say about 7 West, the staff, the food and my overall experiences.
