Decided to play with my closest family and friends for my birthday today. I was a bit skeptical of the $189 per round and see if its truly worth it. But Im a big fan of the Cowboys and Ive heard some great things about it, so decided to give it a shot. Course: The course has some nice layouts and water shots are pretty, but the condition of the fairways and tee boxes were average. Greens were fast and well kept and bunkers had quality sand in them. I think they should put more love into the fairways and tee box areas. Carts: The carts are good quality with the touch screen GPS. Good move by management. Cart Girl Service: No complaints here. Good service and rolled around frequently. In 100 degree weather you need to see them more. Food: This is where there can be lots of improvement. Im not sure if the service mediocre because its free but it felt like that was one of the issues. We ate before our round and after our round and the best dish was the breakfast sandwich and thats because it was hot and fresh. Every other plate was cold, felt like its been sitting out and poorly put together. I never got a refill and we were there for over an hour. I was never asked if I wanted more. We still tipped out of courtesy but major improvements are needed. Pace of Play: Started off pretty slow. Front nine was 2.5 hours. Had five guys in front of us and slowed us down. I guess they allow large groups. Eventually it got faster but it was because those guys left after 14 holes. Ive paid more elsewhere then what I paid here to play on a "high quality" course before and I have to rank this course lower in comparison. Improve your food quality and service in the clubhouse/grill and be more attentive on the course pace. Put some Marshalls out there to speed it up. Give your fairways some loving and I think it will be worth that value. Management, if you read this and have more questions, email/call me. You have my number in your system.

Two stars for the service in the restaurant only. The pro shop experience was very bad . It was the first time we played the course and had to rent clubs 100 dollars for that thought that was really high. we paid online and had to pay again at the club we had to get the online booking company to call the pro shop because they did not believe we had paid even though we had a confirmation number that said otherwise. They did refund our money though. After round was confronted that 3 wood was missing from set. Yes we had a 3 wood but it had a 5 wood cover on it so had to straighten that out. Course was a nice layout at best but there was no much garbage on the cart paths and the surrounding areas . I would be embarrassed to call the course my home course. Take a little pride and hire some kids to pick up all the pop cans and beer cans and there are many. And the garbage on the paths. Not impressed at all

this place is way over priced. they have a gimmick name and really silly gimmick where the cost of the round comes with food. Great idea right?? well I paid my $175 per person sat down for some food at the restaurant and waited and waited until 45 minuets later they finally brought my burger and a turkey sandwich for my buddy. Wow, it turns out when the people serving you food feel like you arent paying for it, they dont care much about service. I would rather pay for my food and get service pay $60 to $70, more what the course is really worth. The course itself is OK, nothing other wordly like they lead you to believe by the price and the treatment as if you should feel grateful that they are allowing someone like to play at their course. I think of 10 course off the top of my head better than this over priced rough that thinks its a diamond.

I rode along with my boyfriend who loved the course. The amenities are excellent. They keep you stocked with cold water and are always checking to make sure you are doing ok. Great staff and very well kept course. I docked 1 star because the airplanes flying over you every few minutes took away from the peaceful experience, but the course is right next to one of the busiest airports in the country. Also, food is very good in the clubhouse. We ordered a couple small bites to go before tee time. When we finished up, we ordered a sit down meal. I ordered a shrimp salad and noticed one of my shrimp was not cooked fully which made me lose my appetite. But you really do get alot for your money.

Loved the layout and is one of DFWs best. The greens left something to be desired but thats not surprising with the winter we had and should form into shape soon. The staff was very friendly. It was a little overpriced and I think they put too much into the free food/drinks as 130-150 sounds closer to fair than 185 but it was a good experience. They really need to turn off the TV w/live feed of Stadium unless there is a game being played.

The only thing that stopped me from giving this place 5 stars is because Im a true die hard NY Giants fan and its just principle. Everything about this course is top notch. From start to finish the staff was attentive. The course was in great shape, the free food with the green fees is a nice touch, and the clubhouse has some great Cowboy gear. This should be a course you should play in Dallas if you like golf and football.

Course was in great shape. Staff was friendly and had no problem with pace of play. I think $185 is a little steep but add in all the food and you can eat and non-alcoholic drinks and it might be worth it. The food was really good too. They do have deals where its $99 thats worth it. I had no complaints and Ill probably go back.

Had a great experience with the GM Hagen Cleek, called and left a message and was called back around 30 minutes later, helped me with the problem I had. Great Customer Service, went ahead and booked to play in the 4th Tournament. Cant wait to play Saturday and Monday. Thanks again for you help. Caleb Hailey

We fly down every year to play this course as its one of our favorites. The value is pretty good since the pin gives you all the food and non-alcoholic drinks you want. The course is always in great condition and provides us guys a challenging round of golf.

Fairways are thin. Ground is hard. Greens are not to bad grass-wise, but they are bumpy. Much better course conditions at other reasonably priced courses nearby. P.S. Constant airplanes overhead from DFW. About 3 take offs and/or landings per hole.

Only one cart person for a large tournament was very disappointing for what we paid. Hot and humid and would ha e been happy to by water as they dont have water available on the course. Do t think Jerry would have been happy with the quality.
