Jihad Countermeasures

When I was a young boy in the years 1962 thru 1966 I used to walk from my house, which was next to the runway of Carswell AFB, to this Club House. I walked around it and over the foot bridge and down to the creek North of the Club house. I was amazed by the fish, crawdads, and other animals around the creek area. I would pick up the golf balls that fell from above at the golf course. One day 2 guys looked over the edge of the cliff and offered me 10 cents a ball. My business sense was born! I sold several balls that I had found and the golfers were happy. These are sweet memories of my childhood.

I enjoyed this course completely! It has both its challenges and its risk/rewards. The bunkering is strategically placed so that they are easily in the way. The greens are fair and do what they are supposed to when read correctly. The club house staff were pleasant and cordial. It was one the most enjoyable rounds of golf I have played in a long while. I do have to thank the staff at Hawks Creek, my wife and the awesome 2some I was paired with.

Very nice facility. This was my 2nd time going to use the practice/driving range which is 100% computerized, you dont need to talk with staff at all. I did have trouble with it both times I used it, the first time it took awhile for it to work, and this time it just didnt give me any balls. The staff rushed someone out to look at it and gave me the bucket I paid for plus extra. Will definitely be back.

One of the absolute best courses in DFW. So much history and beauty. A challenging golf course that will call on all parts of your game. The cafe and bar are top notch as well. Good luck and try not to lose your balls in the .... CREEK!!! #fairwaysANDgreens

Great course. I am a member at this course. Staff is excellent. Course is always in great shape. I always have a great time playing this course by myself or with friends I meet on the course. Membership is very inexpensive.

Love the layout of this course. Plenty of doglegs and challenges. Charming stone clubhouse and bar/restaurant. I will play it again. Price is fair for the challenge and reward of golf in west Fort Worth Tx.

I should say that I am not a golfer. This was a fundraising golf event I participated in and only the second golf course I have ever played. But to me it was very nice.
