Great golf course..badly managed and it seems the ownership really could care less of the negative image the facility is developing. With some tee boxes well over a 1000 yards from the green of the preceding hole, it is not a Walking Golf Course. Golf Carts would be required to play the course. Any golf course that cannot offer a golf cart for every player it books for a tee time with should really not be booking tee times, or at the very least tell the players when they book the tee time that there will not be any carts. Unfortunately, that does not seem to get how the management of Birdlewood choice to handle the issue they brought on themselves by allowing the players of the tournament they had earlier in the day keep their golf carts to keep playing the golf course. They shouldnt have booked tee times after the tournament. But they did and over five foursomes had to wait over 30 minutes for the players of the charity golf tournament held earlier to bring their carts in. All this backed up the first tee making the round of golf a 6 hour stand around in the fairway in 100 degree heat round of golf for those who had to wait for golf carts. If we had not driven 45 minutes to get to the golf course we would have left. Recommend that if you want to take the chance of playing a round of golf at Bridlewood that you get some double your money back guarantee if they dont have a golf cart for you.

Played the course on a nice Monday afternoon. The course was in great shape except for the greens. Putts were very true, but I have been on concrete that is softer. It didnt matter what type of ball or how much spin...no bite. Not one ballmark on the greens...even the 180 yd par 3, # 17. Like some of the other reviews, there was a back-up beginning on the 4th hole that lasted all day. Ususally 2 groups waiting on every tee. Took 5 hours on a Monday. Other than that the layout is great and the tees and fairways are nice. Time to focus on airification and sanding those greens!!!

I go to Bridlewood every day, and I think it is one of the best courses in the Metroplex for its quality/price. It is a great course for holding a corporate event and is in excellent condition, especially for a public course.It could easily be a country club.The practice facilities are great, and the pro shop carries some of the latest shoes, as well as a variety of new clubs. And the staff does a nice job of providing great service.

Service was good, although a bit slow, most likely under staffed at the 1 oclock hour on a Wednesday. Unfortunately out of the hummus starter, we went with crab stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeños which were not as good as Id hoped theyd be. Food took a while to come out, but the pork tacos on corn tortillas with feta, white onion, and picked jalapeños tasted good and fresh. 4 stars for service, food came in more like 3 stars.

This is the PERFECT course if you are looking to play a six hour round. Every hack within 10 miles will be there for the specials. Im certainly no John Senden, but good grief at least I play fast. They need a marshal on the course keeping groups on pace. We left after 13 holes because it got to the point where 3 groups were waiting on the next tee. What a joke.

A nice course to play but for some reason they feel it necessary to stagger tee times every 7 minutes. It took our 2-some nearly 6 hours to play because they were so backed up. Some holes we had to wait 30 minutes just to tee off. So, if you do want to play here set your tee time for early in the weekday or expect an unreasonable wait.

very well maintained. Staff was courteous and professional. Only saw refreshment cart twice. I think that was enough. Didnt have much of a backup but doubles and singles would have to wait as usual for foursomes. Greens were hard and fast and pin placement were reasonably kind. I will return.

Great course in great condition. The greens are soft, and fairly forgiving. The fairways are semi tricky but pretty open. Service was great. Ill definitely be back! Me and a buddy played on a Wednesday and played 18 ion 3 hours, so it played fast with little to no wait!

Had a great round on Friday morning. Friendly staff.. course was in excellent condition. Bunkers filled with nice soft sand. Greens held shot and rolled true and fast. Practice range was good except for bunker area but assuming that is work in progress.

Played Sept 2015 - Nice course, gives golfers a good challenge at all skill levels. Dry summer has resulted in dusty spots in the rough. However, this was offset by well taken care of fairways and fantastic greens. It is well worth the price to play.

I dont know what is going on at Bridlewood but it is no where the course it used to be and way too expensive for the quality. The clubhouse is very dated, greens are awful and the coating on the range balls comes off on your club face.

Course is always well maintained with a great layout and plays at about a 4:15 pace on weekends. Check for specials as it is not worth $90, but you can usually find lower prices on Golfnow.

Great day, but damn hot with no breeze. Only issue other than heat was a 4some of local old timers holding up the entire course, hitting multuple balls! Every course has them!

I love this course. Nice and well preserved course. The course set up is almost like the USGA cut which is challenging and fun!!! Not to mention good price for good condition.
