Prior to our stay at the Caribbean Court Hotel, most of the reviews that described the hotel as "a hidden gem". I cant think of a better way to describe this boutique property in Vero Beach. My wife and I stayed at the Caribbean Court during our "babymoon" vacation. We were looking for a quiet, laid-back atmosphere to kick-back and relax for a few days, and this place was all that and more. Vero Beach is a cool, easy-going seaside community almost "smack dab" in between Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. We flew-into the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and rented a car to make the two-hour drive to Vero Beach. We looked at a couple of different hotels and resorts in Vero, but ended-up booking at the Caribbean Court because it was less-expensive and had good reviews from other travelers. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by the manager (Sandra?), who checked-us in and showed us around the property so we would know where everything was located. She personally escorted us to our room and made sure we had everything we needed. This was a nice touch! The hotel itself is very quaint and has an old world charm that you wont get at a chain or resort hotel. Our room was a good size and had a small balcony overlooking the garden off to one side. The king-sized bed was surrounded by antique furnishings and vintage artwork; adjacent to a small mini-bar/kitchen area and a bathroom area that included a hand-painted sink, the likes of which you would only expect to see in the Caribbean. The beach is just across the street from the Caribbean Court and guests can find beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, etc., in the main office (for free). For those who dont care to walk to the beach, the hotel has a nice heated pool surrounded by lounge chairs for soaking in the Florida sun. The seaside shops and restaurants are just a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel and getting there is really easy and convenient. The shops were really geared-toward an older demographic, so we didnt explore these too much, but there are some very nice little restaurants and food options around this area. We didnt visit the Maison Martinique restaurant or Havana Nights Piano Bar on-site, but opted for the Italian restaurant across the street (Trattoria Dario) instead. There are a number of other dining options within a short walk from the hotel, including another Italian restaurant and a casual pizza place. If you are looking for a comfortable and relaxed place to spend a couple of days, the Caribbean Court Hotel is the perfect place to be. Compared to other hotels and resorts in Vero Beach, this place is more affordable and delivers a more unique experience with a personal touch. If/when we return to Vero Beach, I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I highly recommend the Caribbean Court! The folks who manage and service the hotel are super friendly and eager to please. Its truly a relaxing getaway...either by the pool or at the beach. Most of the day, Caribbean music softly plays in the background at the pool and the tropical foliage and flowers are lush and beautiful against the bright blue sky. I love the white lights on the trees and buildings at night! The beach is just a short walk across the street and never crowded...feels almost private most of the time! Beautiful to walk on! The hotel provides nice beach chairs and umbrellas on a first-come basis... weve always found them available and its so nice not to have to lug these from home! Spanish tile and bright colors are combined in the rooms, some with carpet as well, producing a happy and inviting ambiance. There is ample room to hang and store your items in the unique furniture found in each room. Bathroom sizes vary but have all been sufficient for us. Linens are lush, even the beach towels, and beds and furniture are very comfortable. Balconies/patios are nice in cooler months but too hot to enjoy much in heat of summer - an opportunity to enjoy a less-expensive room or the Penthouse! We certainly enjoy the refrigerators, microwaves and dishes for the option of preparing simple meals in the room. Some rooms are equipped with stoves and separate eating areas. The in-house French restaurant and piano bar offer upscale evening meals and entertainment and your stay includes a diverse breakfast menu. Meals are served either inside or poolside. We enjoy poolside year round, just need a shaded table in the summer. We also enjoy the three family-owned restaurants directly next door. With all these options, we dont even have to get in the car when were here...we love that! But when we do need something, town is only a few minutes drive. And when were feeling like it, we can ride one of the bikes the hotel provides on a first-come basis downtown in less than 15 minutes. If it sounds like we know this place well, we do! Weve been here at least7 times since we discovered it in 2016. Even brought the family with 1 yr old grandson and took advantage of adjoining rooms. You dont see many children, though. Its the perfect place for a romantic getaway!

Stayed here for 2 nights , and we had reserved online, and checked in around 4:00 pm with no issues. In fact she even asked us for a AAA card, and gave us a discount! We had ground floor room 111 which was a king bed, with patio room that looked out onto the pool. My only complaint was that the bushes needed to be trimmed, as they were interfering with coming in, and out of the patio. The room was small, and cozy. Lot;s of antique furniture which gave it a homey appeal. The bathroom was functional, and well appointed with anything you might need. They even provided 2 robes for your use. There was also an efficiency kitchen with microwave, fridge, & toaster oven. They had plates, cups, and silverware as well. The hotel is just across the street from the beach access. Even though it is that close, it is still a hike across the hot sand! Make sure you are prepared. It was fairly peaceful, although you are just down a few hundred feet from South Beach which is a public beach. We didnt get a chance to try the restaurant, but did manage a trip to the piano bar. It was acutally quite busy. I got the famed mojito, which I though was just "ok". The pool area is beautiful, and so peaceful. I loved taking my morning swim there. Warm, and not another soul around! We even ordered a pizza, and had it delivered from a restaurant down the street. Had a lovely lunch by the pool. To sum it up, I will be returning, as my family lives near there. This is the perfect blend of relaxation, yet close enough to everything! The price is definitely a steal for the Vero area, especially with such easy beach access. Loved it! Room Tip: Every room is unique. Check out the details online prior to booking! See more room tips

I cant even begin to tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel!! This very charming establishment offers a quiet, private and delightful hideaway. Located amongst lush tropical foliage, the 18-room hotel is situated in a very quiet street with very little traffic. The staff is attentive and helpful. The guests are mostly adults who appreciate the quiet allure of a smaller, boutique hotel; having said that, there were children on the property, but I really recommend it for adults seeking peace and quiet and not for the younger guests. Our room (221 - the honeymoon suite) was very clean, bright and cheerful. The tropical decor consisted of dark wood furniture and a very comfortable queen size bed dressed in all cotton linens. The bathroom was comfortable and included a very relaxing jet tub. The grounds are lush and tropical, and the pool clean and warm. The beach access is directly across the street and a short walk from the hotel. The beach itself is quiet, clean, and very private. Our room was located right next to the Havana Club Piano Bar and we were surprised, but we couldnt hear the music or the guests at the club while we were in our room. Might I add that having the piano bar inches from our door was very, very convenient. The hotel is located approximately 2 miles from many of the varied array of shops and boutiques in the busier part of Vero Beach. Would we stay again? Weve gone back twice since this review and were actually planning our next getaway back to The Caribbean Court as I write this.
