We have been season pass holders for the last 4 years. We have always had a great time. We usually go every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. HOWEVER this year has been a complete waste of time and money. Something is ALWAYS wrong. Wave pool has been broke 5 times, different slides are always down (theres not that many to pick from). We buy the souvenir cups and popcorn buckets to use though out the summer, We have only been able to get popcorn 4 times because they are ALWAYS out. Wednesday my son took his cup to get ice water and was told the water was messed up after standing in line for 20 mins. The food is ridiculously priced this year. Lines are 30 mins long at food stands. Lazy River has been disgusting with dirty water and dead frogs. The staff in the past have been amazing, this year they have been useless, unfriendly and unattentive. It wouldnt bother me as much if they were unfriendly due to being overly observant but they are just there. This year has been completely different than the last 4 years. We buy 4 passes every year along with 6 other families that also buy season passes. All 7 of us mothers and our children meet up there to spend a fun filled day with friends. We are ALL very disappointed and unsure if we will purchase season passes for next summer. The service this year has been beyond unacceptable. The admission (as well as everything else) is very costly so they are bringing in plenty of money to maintain the equipment. Shreveport needs a Waterpark for locals and visitors to enjoy but at this moment to I would suggest going to Cantons Splash Kingdom instead of shreveport. We visited Canton location it was nice and had several new slides and was much better than shreveport. I really hope yall get on your game and get Shreveport Splash Kingdom the way it should be...

I went to the park today with friends and I was not happy with the experience at all. The admission was $23 and some of the slides didnt even work. I was wearing a racing swimsuit (because its all Ive got) and I was told to change into shorts. Meanwhile there were plenty of women in skimpy bikinis. With the exception of the large white and blue swirly slide with the yellow in the middle, most all of the other slides didnt even push me all the way through them. Im 510" and 165lb muscle, so its not like Im too skinny or too fat. According to friends who have been there before the park went through a change in management, the slides used to be fast and fun; now they have made them so weak that anyone larger than a small child will not be able to have fun (except on the 3 large slides). The food was overpriced and locker rental for a "large" locker is $13 and they give you $5 back after youve returned the key. The lazy river is short and had a notable number of bugs in it. For anyone going because of the Christian aspect, there is nothing Christian themed in the park except for bible verses on their tubes and things in the gift shop. As far as I could tell, the only music they played was Christian rock. Overall, I would say to not waste your money here. There isnt much to do so you will have done everything in less than 2 hours. If youve got a bit of money to spend and youre going for a small child, it wouldnt be that bad of an experience. There are plenty of lifeguards and the rides are very tame.

If there was a way to give a zero star review I absolutely would. I do not even know where to begin with my experience here. First off the place is filthy and the water smells of straight urine. Secondly, the staff was rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to do their job. My son asked one of the lifeguards where the life jackets were located and they rolled their eyes before explains to him where they were; like his safety was unimportant to them. To add onto that, when my son and I were waiting in line to go down the bonzai, I over heard two lifeguards talking and making inappropriate remarks about drugs and which lifeguards they would, to put it nicely, have intercourse. It was so obvious I had to cover my sons ears. Then once it was my turn, I then proceeded to tell the lifeguard I didnt appreciate what I heard and how I thought I was at a Christian water park and again they rolled their eyes and asked me what slide I wanted. I got her name, Amy, and then went to ask an employee where the manager was and they told me they were the manager and I told them the situation my son and I encountered and when they told me they would take care of it, I watched the lifeguard walk into the break room, laughing with their friends. I dont understand how such immature, reckless teenagers are hired to watch over my childs life. Needless to say, I will not be attending splash kingdom water park, and will make sure before people waste their money, how terrible the service and lifeguards are there.

This was our first visit to the park, we were celebrating my daughters 14th birthday and this is what she wanted to do. The park employees are young and have no manners. The line to get in the park was outrage. The prices are unreasonable. I bought the package that include the food/deal, but we were not informed that you can only get certain items. There is an up charge of $1.00 or for some items $2.00. The wave pool is a joke. I hear the sound alerting the swimmers that the waves are coming, so I am waiting and waiting until I finally ask my son how long before the waves come. He informs that they have come and gone. So disappointed. Lastly we had to leave early because of the weather. The only good thing is if we decide to return we can enter free. Here, are a few suggestions to make this an awesome park. Turn the water pressure up, hire a few employees that are over 21, lower the food and admission prices, create more places that are covered closer by the pools, repair the water fountains "everyone will not fall for the trick of the water fountain working but it is not cool so they go buy that expensive water", repair the locks on the bathroom doors, open the entire wave pool, and make the floats available. We will return just because we have free admission and I feel we did not get our money worth. I will write about our next visit soon.

Where to begin? Although my kid had lots of fun, really the only fun part about this park is the water..there is a bridge that you have to go over to get to the kid island that isnt lacquered or water treated!! So its splintering and I felt I had to tread lightly in order not to get splinters in my feet and even doing so I still felt like I had some when I stepped off the bridge, I would brush off my feet every time I went over it. When we went to go and get food we decided on the pizza stand because thats what my son wanted, big mistake! The pizza is way over priced, four bucks for an okay sized slice but the real problem was it was hardly even Luke-warm!! The cheese wasnt melted at all and was dry like when you leave pizza out for hours. I went ahead and ate it though because I was starving and didnt want to deal with a manager or with someone messing with my food because i returned it. Lastly, I had bought a locker and you have to pay so much and they give you your money back when you return the key, I should of just taken cash back but instead I asked the girl if she could put it back on my card. She didnt know what she was doing but said she think she could, even gave me a receipt and everything. I still havent had my card credited back, so I pretty much just lost five dollars.
