Went for a birthday party. My child was playing in the area designed for small children in a life jacket. He had been playing for over thirty minutes and was I no danger when one of the life guards walked up and grabbed him out of the water. I run over wanting to know what this person touched my child, only to be told he couldnt play without an adult while wearing a life jacket. I explained that the life jacket was just a precaution and he knows how to swim. The lifeguard told me that since he had been wearing a life jacket he couldnt get back in the water without it. My son was upset that he couldnt play with his friends, but Im still steaming mad that the life guard picked my son up. He was in no danger and I was right there and could have called him out of the water. This life guard was big and definitely scared my son, most young children (mine is almost 5) dont like being picked up by strangers. I would be more specific about the life guard, but I honestly couldnt tell if he/she was male or female. I also didnt see any signs stating that children in life jackets had to be accompanied by an adult in the playground pool area with a foot and half deep water.

The water park itself is fine, but I am writing this review to rate the Denton Water Works staff. We went here about a month ago and the woman taking our payment overcharged our account by $2,000. Honest mistake, sure, but the way it was handled was ridiculous. They said it would take a couple of days to process and credit our account... a week later and no one called to update us on the status. My husband and I called multiple times & left messages for the manager, Brittany. Even if it was out of her hands she should have made this a top priority to communicate with us. Another week goes by and someone from the City of Denton calls to handle the issue promptly. Fast forward to almost a month later and we finally have our money, but this place needs to learn proper customer service, as this was a lot of money being dealt with.

First of all yuck, second of all yuck again. This place is terrible, the crowd even worse. Its not cheap either, and for what they charge its really not worth it. So lets see, they have 1 lazy river, which when we went someone pooed in, so they shut that down. The slides were overcrowded by people pushing and shoving, absolutely no manners, but in their defense most understood only Spanish. Finally the showers are a disgrace, smelly and not maintained at all, actually a health hazard with all that mold and moisture. Lastly what makes it really bad is the low class clientele that it caters to. Pay more and enjoy elsewhere.

It was nice not to crowed but it is for more of little children the lazy river was good ! But they only have 2 slides and its long lines the day we went! They have cabanas that u have to rent ! Alot of people were sitting on the ground where there was this tented pallivon that would of fix 20 or more people with tables and benches that they dont let u sit unless u rent I thought that was just crazy! But all in all it was ok you need to bring a cooler the food is limited and its very small eating space

Came here with a non-profit group that was a quoted a per person price in late June. Sometime during July they increased their prices. Well when my group of around 40 arrived, they wouldnt honor the original quote and it ended up costing us around 250 dollars more than we had planned. I call that dishonest, some had other choice words. Moral of the story, get everything in writing with these folks, their word just isnt good enough.

This park was fun and the fact that it was new made it nice to visit. I felt like there were several areas that were good for kids of all ages. You have to be 48" to ride the big slides, and 42" for the orange one. They have one tube slide and three body slides. The lazy river was fun in just fast enough. They had small and large tubes and some with a bottom so little kids can ride on them.

It has a good variety of activities during he Summer, when the outer park is open. There are some tall slides, a lazy river, and a kiddy section. The inside is open all year, having an open pool and a pool with lanes. It has showers and lockers for those who want them. The staff is always friendly and ready to help.

The prices are great for the indoor and outdoor pool. Our family loves getting together and coming here during their off seasons and especially during the summer. They offer three different water slides, the lazy river, and a childrens area to play for the little ones. Such an awesome place ;)

We have been members of the Natatorium and swim park for four years now. This facility is a gem and a wonderful resource for the community. Staff are knowledgeable and engaged, passionate about teaching youngsters how to swim. We are fortunate to have such a great place to swim and play.

I absolutely love this place. First, no charge for parking. Low admission, $11 for, plus they offer offer a coupon online. Biggest plus, you can bring outsode coolers and food! Lots of lifeguard around. Only downside, too many teenagers work there. Customer service is 5 out of 10.

Its a very affordable, fun day. Be sure to print a $2.00 off coupon (print one for each person). You can bring a cooler, but bring cash for the Dip N Dots. If it gets too hot outside, go inside to swim. Great place to enjoy a hot Summer day in Texas!

They should limit where younger kids are able to go. The inside pool has puddles everywhere when you get out and it grosses me out. I feel like there is pee everywhere because of where the little kids are. Other than that, its great.

Great place to come and stay cool in the summer Texas heat! But it can also get really crowded as well.. ended up waiting in line for a ride on the slide for like half an hour . But still worth the trip the life guards are great too.

This has always been a must go every summer when in Denton! The park is clean, there are always plenty of lifeguards on duty and very vigilant! Its not very expensive for all you and your children want to do either!
