Boy Scout Troop 205 hosted a screening of Honor Flight The Movie at AmStar 14 in Anderson last night, there were over 150 attendees. Many veterans were in wheelchairs or on walkers or simply slower moving than others. The management team and staff at AmStar 14 were beyond excellent. They could see we needed some time getting everyone situated, and they held the movie start in order to accommodate our needs. They made the evening 100% about the veterans and our desire to honor them and thank them. I was blown away with the level of professionalism and respectfulness from every single staff member at Amstar 14. We were there long enough to meet the end of one shift and the beginning of another. So our deepest thanks to AmStar 14 not only for allowing the screening of such an important movie, but for having the top rate staff they do, making the experience all around even better.

I only gave this place 1 star on the count that as soon as my family and I got sat down for the previews of he movie, the General Manager Patrick came up to my mother and told her to turn off her phone. Her cellular phone was already turned off. We all turned them off at the door. After that we all said okay, he went away then came back to tell my mother to come talk to him. Once outside the theater he threatened to have her put out, although her cell phone was already off. So I said we were leaving, got our money back and left. This place general manager completely sucks!!

If anyone says we tell them to leave for no reason just bc they had a cell phone out...... hello there is a big sign in the lobby saying no cell phones if caught you will be removed. And not to Merion before the show starts there is a video telling you what not to do. And we come in to tell you to get off your phone and if the ushers couldnt get you to comply we get a manager to tell you to go home. WE Give Plenty of chances even if we are not suppose to. So any comments saying they told us to leave for no reason those are false.

Have gone here many times over the years, and am usually pretty satisfied. Some of theaters seats are skinnier than others for a wider person, but tolerable, and of course with it being a movie theater the snacks are expensive. But the service is always friendly, the managers smoothly fix any rare problem that may occur, the place is well-maintained, and the workers are happy to make an all-flavors Icee, no matter how odd it may seem. Their rewards program is worth it, too, whether you go two times a year or ten.

Went to see Assassins Creed in 3D. Great sound, and picture. Only had 4 people in the room, but still played the movie. Some places dont even start a movie till it hits room minimum. Place was clean, and the concession were expensive. Still not too shabby. The seats was the only hit that made this review 4 ⛤. Sorry but those seats are very unconfortable.

I love the AmStar Cinemas because all of the staff work as hard as they can and they are very nice and considering to other people.Also, the bathrooms and the theater itself are very clean and organized. I will be sure to recommend this Movie Theater to other people planning to go watch a movie in public. Keep up the good work!

Ridiculous! Below average on consession, above as far as comfort and layout.You guys would sell a heck of a lot more if you didnt try to rob people. 2-20oz waters =$7.50 wtf needless to say I said forget it! I usually just rent movies. Great theatre otherwise.

Nice theaters with stadium seating. Filling your own drinks at Coke Freestyle machines means unlimited refills. The $10/year rewards program becomes worth it very quickly if you see movies there with any regularity (or even if you only see one or two a year).

Love the staff,they are ALWAYS nice and i really like how they come thru checking on ppl. I know they are watching 4 ppl bootlegging movies or being loud,But still as a female it kinda makes the movies seem safer. THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF,YALL ROCK!!

Its ok. As we all know the prices for refreshments are jacked up but HEY they gotta make their money right. smh. Clean bathrooms. Staff is overall friendly. I just wish theyd cut out some of the previews......but thats all movie theaters right

Seats arent particularly comfortable, and the audio seemed incredibly overblown. Staff was courteous and prompt, but the concession stand closed fairly early, leaving us without a popcorn refill. Altogether a mixed experience.

Hours online said they open at 10am... Its 11:10 ...no hours are posted on building. Ive seen 3 staff members and not one has offered information. :/ Other then that. This is my favorite theater to bring the kids to.

Sound can be a little too loud, especially from other showings. Youll get the loud booming bass in the middle of your movie. Seats are uncomfortable as heck. Obviously, expensive food and drink options.

Friendly staff. Usually has good movies options. Good snack options even if they are a little expensive. What movie theatre isnt? If you plan to go here often, buy the rewards card-its worth it.

Generally clean, nice staff busy on Fridays and Saturday nights. Staff comes into movies with glow sticks which is a little bit of disturbance and seats are a little worn.

Pretty decent facility, seats are uncomfortable though. I would love to see Amstar Cinemas take a page out Regal Cinemas book and upgrade to reclining leather seats.

Overpriced everything! Popcorn & drinks are more than the tickets. Ticket prices are high & higher....no senior prices, no cheaper price before noon. Total rip off!

I love that they serve alcohol, a bit pricey but it is a very nice theater. Bathrooms/ theater room are always clean. They do get packed but it is worth the wait!
