The theater has recently added wine and beer to what you can order to watch a movie with. Me and my husband decided we would go to the movies to try out the wine and beer selection they had while watching a movie. This turned into one of the worst customer experience services Ive ever had. It started when we noticed the lady who was our clerk at the concessions seemed scattered. We asked about what wine and beer they had, and without letting us know she disappeared to find a menu. She comes back and we order. We then put on wristbands so they would know we could drink. This was understandable, but my wristband was put so tightly on my wrist it was cutting into my skin. Next we noticed that the clerk has been gone a while getting our order of beer and wine. She returns with the craft beer, and asks if my husband will drink some of the foam so she can pour the rest of it from the can. Over half the plastic cup was full of foamy beer. My husband had ordered a beer from the local brewery, Quest, and he noted that the beer was difficult to pour into a plastic cup, especially from a can, and he told her he didnt want to pay $6 for a beer that was over half foam. She went to get the manager, and then they attempted to pour another beer, and still the beer was over halfway foam when they returned. He asked if he could pour it in front of them, since they wouldnt let us leave with the can, and the manager said he couldnt pour the beer from the can into the plastic cup, even though he knew how and could have showed them. He then said he would prefer to not order a beer then. So now we are waiting for my wine. They return with the smallest cup of wine Ive ordered anywhere. I paid $8, and it was around only 3 oz. of wine. A glass of wine is legally considered 5 oz. The bottle of wine they poured from is only a $12 wine. By this point I was done, and wanted my money back so I could leave. If Regal is wanting to allow the sell of beer and wine in their theaters, then they need to do better about incorporating it into the experience. The staff isnt properly trained to know how to pour beers, and they are stocking beers that dont pour well into plastic. On top of that dont overcharge for less than a glass of wine, and if you are going to charge that much then at least serve a glass of wine. If youre looking to just watch a movie youll be fine with the experience, but dont go there to order any of the wine or beer. It isnt worth the cost or bad service. Its just a scheme to overcharge for what they think is a specialty. If I want that I will go to the Georgia Theater Company owned theaters where they have staff who know how to pour drinks, and they dont overcharge for glasses of wine and beer.

The only big plus they have here is serving alcohol. The chairs dont recline which has become a norm in this area. Their concessions are a little pricier than other theaters and salt was not even readily available for popcorn, had to ask for it. They want to push these $1.50 flavored salts on you instead. Seneca just renovated and theyre cheaper and closer to me, reclining seats and DIY unlimited popcorn and drink stations. so thats the bar Ive rated this theater against. Theres nothing "wrong" with it, or my experience other than popcorn salt shenanigans, I just think they are due to revisit their status against area competition or theyll lose hella business coming down from the clemson area.

Employees are nice to everyone and theres the fabulous hair manager man, concessions are speedy and rarely make mistakes. Hardest thing I find to deal with are employees that hobnob in front of u whilst ignoring u yet simultaneously carrying out their tasks, they keep it to a minimum here. Always clean. If u show up to a late showing and youre the only one that bought a ticket, the show will always start, though once the lights failed to dim and sometimes air circulation is poor. Starlight, you are literally the only place I buy movie tickets at. Keep it up.

Best movie theater in Anderson!! Love how they have the inside fixed with lights on the ceiling that look like stars my 2 year old loved it!! This place is clean the bathrroms are very clean and the stadiums are amazing!! All the employees were extremely nice and polite and this is the only movie theater I go too simply for that reason!! It is a great atmosphere to be in and I truly enjoy going here!!!

Been going to this theater for a while now. It has always been a pleasant experience, though, on busy nights, their ticketing can be slow and inefficient. One night, they had a line of 50 people waiting to get tickets, but had only one window selling tickets. Other than that, clean theater, lots of screens. Do note that it is not a massive theater with a lot of IMAX screenings.

Always the best employees working when we have gone. The afternoon men managers are very helpful if the a/c or volume needs. But the ticket booth and concession employees are the best. We only come to this location. We often go to the movies two times a week. Went to see CHIPS and Then to see Life. During the visits the experiences were great and the employees awesome.

I was getting ready to go see Force Awakens this afternoon, but found out they have a policy not allowing legally carried concealed weapons. Also, Im told, they do not provide armed security. So, pack hundreds of people together and hang a sign on the door promising they are unarmed for the crazies and terrorists. NO THANKS. You will never get my business.

I go out of my way to avoid the Anderson Regal theater. The staff is generally okay, but the the size and quality of the screens is poor and the sound systems are some of the worst Ive heard in a modern theater. A final blow- if youre in the theater closest to the bathrooms, you can sometimes smell sewage while watching your movie.

Theater was nice and so was the picture of the movie and everything else but the seats. You sit down and you can feel the backing of the seat pushing on your back I actually had some back pain by the time the movie was over. But overall staff was good and I was happy minus one minor problem.

Clean theatres -- great sound system -- personable and friendly staff -- the concessions prices are RIDICULOUSLY HIGH!!! You can actually by 2 additional movie tickets for the price of a small drink and small popcorn -consider running some specials or free refills -- SOMETHING people

I ONLY go to this theater. I went to the Amstar theaters and they were so dirty. The people here at Starlight are always so nice and the place is always in a clean condition. The sound and picture quality are wonderful !

Everytime I go to this theater the managers are rude. Once I went there and the manager was so mean to his employee she cried. I dont understand why this place is so nice but you cant hire good sincere people to run it
