Sandy Actors Theater has been around for over 30 years. However, it hasnt been until recent years that it has finally come into its own. The caliber of talent and shows has increased steadily and is finally being recognized, not just as a Sandy theater... but as a part of the Portland art scene. The theater has restructured and now seats about 100 around the "thrust" stage. And the VERY best thing is that prices have stayed relatively unchanged!!! So for around the price of a movie, one can experience live theater... something that cinema just cannot reproduce or replace. And with the growing list of restaurants almost within walking distance, this is a night on the town that costs little, and pays big. Only a short 20 minutes outside Portland... Its worth the drive.

Always a fun evening. Great local talent and a third of the cost of going downtown. Free parking, too! Wonderful plays for the upcoming season for everyone to enjoy.
