Good people, bad place. Theater people have their own sort of laid back attitude. But all of them agree that this place sucks. The owners are completely apathetic to the fact that 3 sexual assaults have occurred here, 2 of them to minors. This is a well known fact amongst the people who have been here for years, the actors and such. But when the security was informed, they did nothing. The owners were informed the next day, and they too did nothing to improve security, not even adding cameras. Not safe for children, even if it seems family friendly. Just not a safe area.

I totally love the new and improved Empress in downtown Vallejo! I have been to several events here and will continue to keep coming back. It has an amazing intimate feel and no seat is a bad one! It is an absolutely gorgeous facility with so much to offer!!

A nice theater in downtown Vallejo. They have a good lineup of bands. I was disappointed that the historic theater wasnt as ornately or interestingly detailed as some of the gorgeous old theaters in San Francisco, but its a good little theater to go to.

Beautiful, historic theater. Great sound system, lights, and stage for music performances, although might be a bit loud. The seats and legroom are kind of small, but cushion-y. Theres a lot across the street or nearby street parking available.

Great old theater that has been brought back to life. The manager is doing a great job of finding all kinds of acts/shows to fill up the venue. More people need to show their support and step out for some entertainment.

Very nice people whom put efforts toward staging Local & National Talents. Dedicated to the Performing Arts. A huge room & stage! Feels like youre in an upscale venue, yet with downhome folks! Gotta Love it.

Went to see Jon b as part of my birthday celebration. The sound system is crappy. Couldnt understand most of the show. I dont know about other things they promote but, dont go for concerts.

Great remodel with very nice staff. Ive seen a few shows here and I like the acoustics for the reggae show I saw there. The seats right up front with a place to dance are key!

There are no bad seats in this theater. The acoustics were great. Very classy and modern with an old world style. I will definitely be going back to see other shows there.

They always have good family friendly music and all the vendors are very nice. My 2 year old always enjoys the music and fruit samples.

Great place to have presentations, seminars, info sessions, etc. Also, the managers are so nice and welcoming!

The atmosphere is great and the staff is very accomodating. Having an almost full bar is a plus. Loved it.
