Would definitely do with a group of people you know. Have done it with people I know and have done it with knowing half the group. Still a fun experience if you do it not knowing all of the group. Word of warning it is a low tech escape room. Some escape rooms are higher tech with key pads this one is low tech with things like manual locks. I gave it a 4/5 just because it does not feel like the clues always flow well and can be slightly difficult to piece together. Overall, very fun. Would go back. Just a warning about the low tech and sometimes the clues not flowing together.

Such a unique and awesome experience! Bull City Escape pits you, friends and even strangers to team up and solve a series of clues to escape a riddle-ridden room. My girlfriend and I teamed with two other people and I got to say it was a TON of fun racing against the clock to solve clue after clue. The staff is incredibly friendly and passionate about making sure you have a fun time. This is perfect for anything from date nights and office team-building to family outings. Highly recommend!!

I work at an escape room and have played about 20 so my standards are pretty high and I have to say the murder mystery room is super creative and fun. I took my dad here for his first escape room and the puzzles were challenging but not too hard, the gamemaster was helpful but not overbearing, and the room was very nicely decorated and had some super cool special effects. Will definitely be back to do more rooms whenever Im in Durham.

We surprised my sister for her birthday with a trip to Bull City Escape. Our hostess was named Pooja and she was just awesome! We tried "Enchanted Kingdom" and were very, very happy with our experience. The puzzles/riddles in the room are just the right amount of challenging and all the solutions fit perfectly. This is a great way to celebrate a special occasion or even just have a fun afternoon!

Just did the new space themed room, Lunar Lockdown-- its equally as awesome! Its harder than the 90s room and slightly less difficult than the Murder Mystery room. Definitely worth checking out as it has some fun new puzzles and a great set-up. I hope they will keep updating and making new rooms because now I have done them all.

The rooms here are imaginative and really well-staged. The games Ive played were just the right level of difficulty, so we played until the very end of our time. The staff are friendly, and its a locally-owned business. Great time for a group of friends or even your coworkers!

Ive done two escape rooms here. Mystery room and Lunar Lockdown. Both were amazing and so much fun! One of my favorite places to take a group of friends or family. I highly recommend this place. I cant wait till they have a new room for me to try!

Bull City Escape was so much fun! They did a great job setting up the story and connecting the clues. The clues were difficult, but not ridiculous. A great place for doing a fun activity with close friends or people you are just getting to know!

Fun experience with our intern crew. We made it out with 2 minutes to spare. Definitely worth it if youre interested in some team building or bonding time. Or to just yell things to distract everyone from finding clues.

I first thought this was going to be a shabby type of escape room place (I travel and do lots of them). Man was I wrong! I did Lunar Escape and it was AMAZING! This was room #19 for me and in the top 5.
