For any movie-goer, this theaters definitely worth a try. Tickets cost the same as at the cinema in the Singing Hills Mall, and thats what makes the differences in quality really pop. The lobbys design is excellent, and while the prices for popcorn and soda-pop look expensive, you get enough to make up for it. While the soda-pop cups arent as big as they could be, the vending machines being in the open allow for unlimited, free refills - which can lead to lots of bathroom trips, but is still a good thing if you show up an hour or two early. The theaters themselves are beautifully designed, the seating is excellent. If theres a bad seat in the house, I havent found it yet. The screens always crisp and delivers a superior quality than the other theaters in town, and the speakers for the theaters have just the right settings to make you feel immersed in the movie. If youre in the Siouxland area and want to catch a movie, this is the theater to go to.

We will drive the extra miles and go through the construction to come to this theater. The screens are huge compared to the theaters at the mall and the stadium seats are tall and are pretty comfortable. The sound system is very good, not to loud. Go before 6:00 and they have cheaper seats. 12 and under get in at the childrens price, so that is nice for me. Of course the food is pricey, but you can refill even a small because the machines are self serve. It does make for a wait, if you are coming in at the last minute before your movie starts, so come early enough to have time to get your snacks! We dont have much to offer in Siouxland for movie theaters, so I am thankful to have the Promenade! It is the best in Siouxland!

At times this theater complex is way understaffed. Its not unusual to see one person selling tickets, working concessions, AND trying to service the projectors in all 14 theaters. Weve had two movies in the last year not start on time or the digital projection just freeze and had to get a refund. The refund was nice but we planned our whole day around a movie outing. And at times the stair railings are so gross and sticky that the only choice is to try to ascend (not too bad) or descend without using the rail, nearly impossible, if you are older, in a theater with "stadium seating". Ive already had a couple of close calls and look forward to the day I fall. Sadly the other theater chain in town is even worse.

Besides agreeing with previous reviews, I was very pleased to view 2 Excellent movies here at the Promenade, First one, "VOICELESS" & second one, Kirk Camerons "REVIVE US" just this past Tuesday!!!:))). FANTASTIC, both of them!!! I & others would have loved to see "I AM NOT ASHAMED" at a theatre near where we live this Friday, October 21st, but will not be playing here locally, have to go a distance away for this one:(((. Very disheartening that neither "PRICELESS" nor "I AM NOT ASHAMED" are not being shown locally!!! PLEASE take a look at this & HOPEFULLY in the nearest future this will change! Respectfully submitted, Wanda G.

Its in much better condition then the older moive theatres we have here in the Siouxland area. They give you a reward points card when asked to swipe when your paying your tickets and or buying treats and when u gain enough points u can get free items or reduced prices at the concession stand. I wish its concession stand prices were cheaper though but its alright for now. They have a self serve soda machine foundation that says one free large refill but I dont think nobody follows that much. Overall this is my go to moive theater.

It does not look old, the only thing bad is the HIGH PRICE of food; very expensive I paid more than $40 for a few snacks besides the tickets, They need to provide smaller size of popcorn bags. Also the screen can be hard to see, it needs more brightness ! Plus the lights on the ceiling make it difficult to see the screen; we dont need lights on the ceiling! The lights on the steps is plenty for people not to fall down.

Service has had a MAJOR drop-off over the past couple years. SLOW moving employees with no interest in providing any kind of decent customer service. Screens are often too dim to enjoy the special effects and the floors and surfaces are disgusting. Its a shame because this used to be a good theater, but unfortunately its no longer ran with enough pride to warrant the ticket/concession prices.

The movie theater itself is very nice. The problem I have is they changed their prices out of nowhere and expected people not to realize it. They stopped a lot of their deals. There is no student discounts on Thursday and there are no deals on Tuesday. They got rid of a lot of their combos and without any specials the prices have become ridiculous.

Love this theater. We are not from the area and we once went to the Southern Hills theater and will never be back there again ( gross/dirty/ rundown). We WILL continue to go to Promenade when coming to Sioux city. This theater actually does fairly well on their up keep as compared to Southern Hills, that place needs demolished.

Very nice and clean theater. They have a discount night on Tuesdays and even give you a small bag of popcorn. That makes it very affordable to take the family out! We have 2 choices for theaters in Sioux City and this one is by far the most taken care of.

It a cleaner theater, with less noise from unruly kids than at the Mall. Great rewards program and good seats with large screens make the experience better. Free refills on pop is appreciated. Large entry area makes waiting or meeting friends comfortable.

Went to watch a movie. We bought the "special" deal two large drinks and an extra large popcorn, for $20.00. The popcorn was so full of "old maids" you had to be very careful when eating it. We ended up throwing half of it away.

Nice big screens with updated film and sound delivery. Comfortable, clean stadium seating so no one, not even a basketball player is going to block your vision. Nice roomy entry space and snack counters. Bathrooms are clean.

Nice enough. Cleanliness & counter service need improved. Lots of trash blowing around outside doors. Carpets had lots of popcorn and stuff visible. Teens working counter needed leadership, slow and disorganized.

This place is awesome. Except for the concession stand lady who was an absolute jerk to me and my nephew. She made it very clear that we were wasting her time. Other than that young lady. This place is amazing.

There was popcorn and food all over the floor, workers here were rude and disrespectful, popcorn was awful, my experience has always been so awful here, if you want to see a movie, I do not suggest going here!

Best movie theater in town. Other than a few broken seats its very comfortable. Love their rewards cards and getting $5 off concessions. Wish they would bring back the $5 movie Tuesdays though.

Wonderful popcorn that isnt killed with salt. Theatre screens are good size. Auditorium floors can get slippery, and air can get really muggy in Summer time. Great prices and rewards program.
