Pros: The view. And watching the seals and birds. The water served at the table was also good and cold. And the drinking glass was clean. Cons: The food. I got the fish and chips ($16.95) which consisted of two small pre-frozen strips deep fried in a flavorless batter that was also super soggy on the inside. And it wasnt just mine. One of my lunch companions got the "local" fish and chips option which was prepared the exact same way. How the chef was able to make it crunchy on the outside yet soggy and sad on the inside is an amazing feat. And with zero flavor! Amazing. Oh, we also ordered the calamari appetizer but since it never came I cannot tell you how it tasted. I can tell you that I heard the server ask the chef about it approximately 10-15 minutes after we ordered it, yet it never came. I was surprised to see it was stricken from the bill, seeing as how the server never mentioned that it wasnt coming, nor offered up a reason or even an acknowledgement that it wasnt coming. My other lunch companion got a burger, the Cheeseburger and added bacon. He described it as "gross." It was $12.95. Our total bill was $52. I would have enjoyed driving down the coast highway throwing cash out the window more than this "food." But then again, the view and the water was good. I recommend to avoid with extreme prejudice.

Save yourself the time of day. My friends and I were starving, Mos was jam packed with people, so we figured we would check this place out. It had a beautiful view and looked nice and clean, if only the food matched the presentation of the restaurant. We were seated fairly quickly, but then it took 10-15 mins for them to bring us water, which was absurd considering only a few tables were being served. When we finally got to order, we got the platter, chicken strips, a burger, and some fish n chips made with cod, with a dr. pepper. The dr. pepper was almost flat. The fish and chips were more like bread and chips, and the quality of the fish was low. The chicken strips tasted like fish, and the breading was unappealing. The burger was a rather small and thin burger. The platter all together was terrible. The oysters were uncleaned, they had green slime in them to be exact. The scallops were skate. The razor clam was overcooked. To top it all off the bill came out to be over $76, which wouldnt have been too terrible had it been good sea food, but altogether it was one of the worst, if not the worst experience we have all had in a restaurant. We were all surprised no one ended up with food poisoning.

Well, I dont know what happened between these reviews and our experience but ours was surely different. This was the most disappointing lunch I have had for years! I ordered the salmon salad and asked for the salmon to be medium rare. Couldnt wait for it to arrive. Sadly, what I received was cold (probably day-old), dead, overcooked salmon on a small set of pathetic (though fresh) greens for way too much money. I never complain in such open venues but I did tell the waitress (always upbeat and tried to be be helpful) that this was terrible. All I got in return was many "I am sorries and everyone tells us how much they love this food." We overheard another complaint from a customer and frankly this left me annoyed and wanting. My husbands fish and chips were reported (by him) that fish was good, but I tasted the chips--that neither of us ending up eating as they were cold and tasted like they sat in oil for way too much time. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. It is overpriced and has terrible food. The ambiance is great so if you want a drink they cannot ruin, go for it!

My wife and I visited this restaurant this past weekend. We ordered an appetizer and when it was brought out and we tasted it, we knew we were in for an AMAZING tasting meal. Everything that we ordered was just that: AMAZING! The different items had such variety in different flavors and all of them were just stellar tasting. Words fail... Portion sizes were very nice and staff was friendly and accommodating. We sat at a table with a view of the bay. This restaurant will NOT disappoint! We will be back.

Great harbor view. Servers were friendly but service was poor. Took too long to get things like water and sauce that should have been on the plate. My chicken was cold and potato tasted bad like it had turned green...I tried 3 different bites and had to spit them out. Hummus appetizer was funky. Clam chowder was the only thing I liked. My boyfriends fries tasted like they were fried in the same oil as the fish & greasy. They werent trying to impress us on this holiday weekend.

Really really bad. Sadly this is not the experience I remember when I went two years ago. Last weekend I ordered the fish tacos at the recommendation of the waitress, who was nice-ish, and my boyfriend ordered the halibut fish n chips. Both of our fish was soggy and cold. The taco flavor was bland and the avocado was hard. I didnt even finish but was still charged the full price. Will not be going back, it was a waste of $40.

Food is AMAZING, try the bacon wrapped albacore!!! One of the best, if not THE best, clam chowder Ive ever had. Yes it was a bit slow for service but, it was busy and its because theyre under new ownership and were not fully staffed. However the new owner, who obviously was rusty as a server, was extremely polite and apologetic for the delay. Great view of the bay and quiet. Definitely will come back!

The food was good. Everything else wasnt. I waited close to 40 minutes after ordering, despite the restaurant not being busy at all. We were ignored except when we were given the bill. We asked for water and we were given soda. They messed up my order, giving me a larger-and more expensive- amount of food than I wanted. overall, I would not visit again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The fish and chips with local tuna is up there with the best ever. Thats hard to do! They have a nice little selection of beers, its a classy, upscale place but not too stuffy, just nice and casual. The service is excellent. Good view and sea lions are outside. Much bigger on the inside than can see from the entrance. Great place

Not sure how the food is. Did not really have the money to eat there at the time but I will go back and try it one day. The people that work there are nice and I had a good time talking to them and playing pool with one of them as well. Good severous from from what I had and seen. Very friendly people.

The waitress was so kind to tell us that she was the only person waiting the tables until another came in so we understood she was running around helping everyone. The food was so so so good and tasted great. Everything about it all was amazing, I highly recommend going and Ill be going back!

We had a great time. We sat on the patio out back, the general manager was very personable and attentive. The food was great and he was very willing to bring my husband a side of rice when he suggested the dish should come with it! We will definitely eat there again when we are in town!
