Awful management who seemed very inconvenienced to get our business. The clubhouse is a dump and the amenities are awful. We had 16 guys, and as soon as we got there we seemed to be bothering them buy purchasing our greens fees. At the turn, the only food we could buy were disgusting hot dogs rolling on those rotisseries. We couldnt buy chips or bottled beverages from the snack bar, we had to buy them from the vending machines which of course didnt work right. You wouldve thought the world was ending when one of our guys asked to buy a bag of pretzels he saw behind the snack bar because there were no pretzels in the vending machines. We then tried to buy some beer for the back nine and asked them to put some in plastic bags with ice which is a standard practice at most golf courses, and they told us they were not allowed to give out ice! We asked if we could have something to keep the beers cold, and they said no. We then asked if there was a beverage cart on the course that we could buy beer from and they said no. There was a bee problem in the clubhouse, and they wouldnt leave us alone as we tried to eat our gross hot dogs, and one guy got stung. It started to rain at the turn, so we all waited it out for about an hour. Management told us as soon as there was standing water on a green, theyd shut the whole course down and we would have to leave. It was obvious they wanted to go home. A few of our guys were playing cards (FOR NO MONEY) to pass the time. Just as the rain was letting up, we were told there was no card playing allowed, and we had to FINISH GOLFING OR GO HOME. This was by far the worst customer service Ive ever experienced at a golf course, and I play a lot of golf. People work too hard to give their money/business to a place like this. Whats a shame is that the course itself is a pretty nice track, but there are other nice tracks in the area for a better value. However, if youre idea of a fun round of golf is "NO ICE, NO BEER, NO FOOD, and NO SMILES, then this is the place for you.

I purchased a coupon book from a "charity" person in North Ridgeville. In it were coupons for buy 1 greens fee, get a 2nd one free (still had to pay for cart for both patrons). I presented the coupon to the counter, they immediately stated the did not authorize this, that is a fraudulent coupon, and that they are not going to allow it. Later in the round the owner of the course & a police officer visited me (on my way to a tee box) and asked where I got it from & other questions. The owner, nor the counter lady, apologized for the inconvenience but were more concerned that it be known that there was a "fraud". The officer was great, and I have spoken with him since about stopping whoever is behind these books. The course should have taken this moment to do some good. I understand the coupon isnt a valid coupon. But it was baring your name, logo, information, and other identifiers making it look pretty official. At the very least say you are sorry for the mishap here is $10 off your round, thanks for coming. Instead me and my group got awkward stares and constant reminders that this was a fraud on the course. Unfortunately, the course didnt lose any money in this "fraud", so how it is a fraud on them is beyond me. I paid for the coupons, I paid for the non-discounted rounds, and I wasted my time under a fraudulent assumption as to the deal I was receiving. The course is ok, nothing special, no real spectacular holes. Decently groomed, everything was green, no real dead spots, but there was nothing amazing or even visually appealing about it. For $46 for 18 & a cart Id expect a little more. A comparable would be Sweetbriar in Avon/Westlake Ohio. For 18 & a cart it is $32, which is a quality deal b/c they have an amazing facility, a range, 2 practice greens, and a chipping green. Pleasant Valley is clearly over priced for what they offer. If you price yourself with the big boys, make sure you provide the same experience & level of care they do. I, for one, will never be back.

I lived near this course and played it from time to time growing up. The management always treated you poorly and acted inconvenienced when paying greens fees or purchasing food. I hadnt played it in nearly 10 years due to mistreatment of customers. I recently went back and played the course and to no surprise it was the same as before. I presented a coupon which was refused due to "Non-Authorization" and was told that i probably printed it at home to try and get a discount. This coupon had their logo, address and phone number, and was in one of those Coupon books you buy from Boyscouts/Girlscouts etc. The counter girl was rude, non-apologetic and told me I should leave. Over priced course, poor amenities, and awful customer service. The only perk is the course is empty because no locals play there for said reasons. I wont be back.

Pros: Condition of the course and pace of play was nice. Cons:. Their was 3 of us and they paired us with a fourth and the course wasnt busy. Thankfully the guy wasnt a total jerk but he kept giving swing advice to one of the golfers and we were gambling. Another thing that baffled me was the condition of the clubhouse. Really nothing to eat and water, soft drinks and snacks had to be purchased out of vending machines. Expected more especially for the area we were in.

This is buy far a very beautiful Golf course, its just does not take into consideration that there are Golfers with Disabilities, they have no Disable parking, and when you ask for a Disable Flag, they just tell you that they dont have any and you still have to follow the rule, that means you have to do a great deal of walking, they make no effort to help you, In fact they make you feel unwelcome., one thing for sure they do not understand the law when it come to Disable people. Its time they had a change in there way of doing business. The Course is very well maintained, now its time to put in the parking that is required by law.
