Vacationing in Ocala for the week, was recommended here by a local on Reddit. I found the course to be just GORGEOUS, especially playing into the sunset. Golf is a frustrating game, you know, but several times I just gazed around at the beautiful scenery and felt like I was the only person on Earth. I do have to admit I am used to Tampa courses which are generally extremely flat, but I found the layout to be pretty exciting. The hills werent dramatic but they affect the play more often than not. Cant make a pros/cons list because I have no complaints. But the things I loved most: FAST greens , which raises the challenge considerably for an amateur like me Practice area was really neat, with a practice green that actually reflected the greens on the course , and a driving range that didnt just have flags to aim for, but mini greens at different distances. Professionalism of staff. Just mentioned my tee time and the lady immediately knew my name. They were prepared! Bunkers really well maintained. Distance markers all over the place, and not just spray painted lines on the cart path but real markers. Drinking water every three holes, like clockwork. Cant put in words how much I appreciate that. And of course, the scenery was peaceful and pretty as could be. I highly recommend playing this course at sunrise or sunset, if you can time it up right. Last, the price was very generous. Nice courses tend to think its reasonable to charge over a thousand for a membership then still charge you for cart fees which is as good as saying please dont golf here. This place is NICE with green/cart fees that are MORE than reasonable. Thanks for a great day of golf Stone Creek!

I work at stone creek grill off of 80th ave. We have amazing food that is decently priced. What makes the difference from other restaurants is that were all about teamwork and the quality of your food. We have started something new to encourage keeping thus onfor entertainment at least 2x month. Ok enough about me lol, but wait I actually meant to ask if have an entree like....bring fleet Tom, Lv u thank you

Had set up a tee time for two groups of three for my fathers day present and with out talking to me they added two players whom we dont know. When I wanted to add a seventh player they said I had to cancel and rebook with out working with me, when I asked to cancel Chris hung up without another word. She was plain rude I will never play there just because of her.

Wife and I played this course while on vacation and it is a fun course to play. Staff was friendly and courteous. Fairly busy and we played as a twosome and had to wait a bit but got some time to practice a little while waiting and still played in 4 hrs. Would reccommend the course to anyone and at only $30 ea its a bargain in December.

Handsome and well-maintained course, moderately priced with frequent specials available. Open and airy with few trapdoors to fall through. Some golfers may not care for the predictability of its mostly flat terrain, but for high-handicappers its a plus.
