My first time golfing and it was a company function but we were blessed with a gorgeous day, weather wise, and it seemed to me to be clean and very well kept. Im still curious to know how they cut the grass on the green so short The staff were attentive and friendly and my son and I had an all-around great time. 18 holes is a loooong time (like 6 hours! And we were in a scramble) so bring snacks if you dont eat a huge breakfast beforehand. 9 would have been a bit more tolerable for a first-timer like myself but I can see why avid players do 18. Or even the guy trying to get out of the house all day on a Saturday to knock back a few chilled ones and engage in an attitude adjustment.

As I was going to Ridge Top, I drive down this country road and saw some horses and cows and such and thought. OK we are going to another cow pasture course with thick fairways and slow as carpet greens and flies biting you all round. I couldnt be more wrong. As soon as you get out the car and see the practice putting green you know you are in a different kind of country golf course. It was very well manicured and well put together. The staff was extremely nice and friendly to us. The course was in great shape. Greens were nice and fast and fairways were in great condition. This was my first time coming here and certainly will not be my last.

Beautiful course to play on but had 1 bad experience with a staff member... Went last week with a group of 3 on Saturday evening (we can play 9 holes pretty quickly) at 6:30 and we were turned away because it was "too late". Im not sure about most people but 2 hours is more than enough daylight for 3 people to play 9 holes and this old fart was extremely rude about the whole deal. Went at the same time the next week and got friendly service and played the back 9 so Im assuming it was just an "old man" not wanting to stay a few minutes more kind of issue.

Ive played this course for years and was there this past weekend. Its in very good shape; fairways, rough, and greens. The greens roll true and fast, even when damp. This is a shorter course with about a third of the holes requiring close distance and direction. Ravines, woods, and water make this a course more suitable for bogey or better handicaps. If you arent, bring lots of balls and patience.

A very fun course playing through the hills of Montville Township. Staff is always very friendly. The course is in very good shape, and you can enjoy some snacks afterwards. Rates are very reasonable. Hole #18 is one of my favorite holes I have ever played.

This is a good course, but can be a little tight on the back nine. The greens are always kept nicely.

Seems like you can only get a tee time in the late afternoon because tournaments run all week
