Golfed there yesterday. It was my first time golfing ever so that was exciting. But what wasnt exciting was the nasty attitude of one of the workers. We had a group of six (doing a scramble) so we called ahead knowing that usually you dont golf in a group as large as 6 even though we were doing a scramble which speeds things up. We were told over the phone that so long as our group booked 2 consecutive tee times we can just all 6 golf together which makes sense. So we did so, we booked to consecutive tee times at 1:00 yesterday. While standing at the first tee box waiting for our first member to drive a worker came up to us (didnt get his name but he was working the pro-shop when we finished if that helps) came up to us and in an angry tone asks: "Are you guys golfing as a group of 6 or two groups of 3?" I responded, "A group of 6". Still in an angry tone he says "No you arent, you cant golf in a group of 6". I said, well were doing a scramble to save time and we called the office and they told us..." He cuts me off and in a much much ruder tone says "I dont care what they told you. Youre not golfing in a group of 6." To which I replied, "Thats fine i guess we will make sure we take plenty of time then seeing as it will go slower if we split up." He walked away and we moved on. We did our due diligence and checked before we booked so it was annoying being talked to like a child by a worker. Felt like leaving but it was my first time golfing so I wanted to stay. I dont think I will be returning to this course.

Temporary green on 18 it just some short mowed fairway with a bucket in the ground. Who puts a new green in during July? And everything is burnt out, after an extremely wet spring and summer. Greens are small, which I wouldnt have a problem with, except that they are like concrete. Approach shots from 100 yards bounce 3-4 feet in the air, and then shoot off the green. Tee boxes require a hammer to get your tee in the ground. You cant run tiny, steeply sloped greens that are that hard. Staff was nice, but the course dissapointed me.

This has been a place my friends and I have enjoyed, however, we were a group of 6. I know, a group of 6 is a no go, but it was a bachelor party on a slow day. An employee told us since we werent holding anyone up and we were fine. But soon after, Ranger Rick (too serious about his job), told us , no more than 4. Ruined our experience. We would have understood if we were being a disruption or holding up those behind us. We will NEVER be back. Its hard to find off the exit and those employed by this golf course, ruin the course.

What a terrible time we had at this horrible golf course. First of all we had "free rounds" that ended up not being so free! It was a pass for a group of 4 and not only did we have to pay for the cart it was 14 dollars a person to ride in a cart!! Which is 6 dollars less then top pga golf courses. And not only was the course in terrible shape the management and staff members all gave us attitude when we questioned the insane cart fees. Ill never go back and advise other not to waste their hard earned money on this place.

Chad Gibson is the fundraiser fanatic. If you need to raise funds for your school team, childs sport, or a worthy cause, you should definitely check out his program. And you dont even need to be a golfer. We have used Chad two times for our sons youth basketball game and for Team Fox Party for Parkinsons. His program is fool proof because there is very little work involved, and he raises thousands for each event. I highly recommend using Dave for fundraising. And they have a pretty awesome course as well.

Went to Deer Pass, which in times would have gotten a 1 or 2 because the past have shown some bad customer service as well as bad course maintenance. However this past weekend I went and customer service was greatly improved, and the course was in pretty good shape. Greens were nice and fairways were nice without any hard pan areas. It was enjoyable. I had said before that I would never go back, I only went because I got a deal. They are back on my list. The real rating is 3.5 but I went up to 4.

You get what you pay for maybe even less fairways are as hard as concrete cant even get under the ball with an iron greens are tiny and the ball bounces right off. Green grass is rare to come by looks like a bunch of brown fields. Gave the course a good try at least 10 times this year and will not longer be going there ever again. Oh and dont forget about the tee boxes that take about 100 pounds of force just the get the tee 1/2 inch in the ground.... No longer going to deer pass.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Deer Pass. Chad has hosted my company appreciation party the last couple years and everyone has a great time. Everything from the golf to the pavilion party and food is excellent. Ive also attended several fundraisers at Deer Pass. The passion and effort that Chad puts into these events to raise money for familys and orginizations in need is remarkable.

We have held 2 golf outings at Deer Pass both raising way more than originally expected. Chad helps with everything start to finish and takes the stress of organizing such a large event off the hands of the volunteers. The course is affordable and great for the no so professional golfer. I would highly suggest if you are looking for a place to hold an outing that you contact Chad at Deer Pass!

Chad Gibson and the entire Deer Pass staff know what it takes to hold a successful fundraising event. You can tell Chad genuinely cares about every outing he holds, and definitely has the golf outing planning mastered! Everyone who has played at both of our outings had a blast! A golf outing at Deer Pass is a must for any organization looking to raise money!

Ive been hearing great things about this golf course and finally had a chance to golf there. Wow, what a great course this is. Really enjoyed the greens - theyre challenging, but true. The staff is very friendly and the prices are great! They have a great location. I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy it is to get there. Highly recommend.

I have been to a few fundraisers at Deer Pass and was on the planning committee for one. Each time we dealt with Chad Gibson. He is so helpful and easy to work with. They are so creative and accommodating. I highly recommend you give Chad a call to help organize your next fundraiser. They really put the fun in fundraising!

I truly think this is the most overrated golf course in northeast Ohio. The course is in pretty bad shape, and the staff, for the most part, is a Little bit rude. There are a few fun holes, but I would take my business to one of the better Medina courses.
