Pool area: 1/5 Restaurant: 3/5 Golf Course: 2.5/5 Clubhouse: 4/5 Overall Member Experience: 2/5 Fox Meadow has really frustrated me lately, and I guess thats why I am writing this review. I had a pool experience a few days ago, which really made me consider cancelling my membership, even though I only live 2 minutes from the club. I am going to compare the two "best" country clubs in Medina, Fox Meadow CC and Medina CC. I found in my few visits to Medina Country club that it is miles better than Fox for many reasons; Pool area: Fox Rating: 1/5 Medina Rating: 4.5/5 The pool area at Fox is the main reason I am going to leave. The water is almost always really cold, the food is awful, nobody cares that you are there, and the pool is very empty(Probably due to the reasons I stated above). At Medina, the water is warm, the food is phenomenal(You can pay for the food in cash, something you cant do at Fox), the staff is very friendly, and there are always people there. Restaurant: Fox Rating: 3/5 Medina Rating: 3.5/5 The restaurant at Fox is good, with some delicious food items to choose from and a beautiful deck overlooking a lake and holes 9 and 18. The difference between Medinas restaurant and Foxs is Medina has more variety on their menu, and the prices are cheaper. Golf Course(s): Fox Rating: 2.5/5 Medina Rating: 5/5 At Fox, there is ONE course that is fun to play the first few times, but gets really repetitive. The course is kept up nice, but the water doesnt drain well in many areas and the cart path is very bumpy, with many potholes and cracks. The courses at Medina are absolutely outstanding. There are 3, nine-hole courses at Medina and they all have their own challenge and uniqueness. The blue and green courses are great for golfers of all ages, and every single hole is unique. The red course is great for families to casually play the sport. The Blue Course at Medina is my favorite course Ive played in Ohio. Clubhouse: Fox Rating: 4/5 Medina Rating: 3/5 This is the only category Ill give to Fox. Fox has a very nice, fancy club with a great workout room. While I love the casual atmosphere inside of the Medina CC Clubhouse, I have to give it to Fox because they spent so much money on the club, it really shows when you walk through it. Overall Experience: Fox Rating: 2/5 Medina Rating: 4.5/5 I thought the entire experience at Medina was terrific. This is a very family friendly place where you can spend the entire day playing golf, getting a bite to eat, playing tennis, and swimming in an incredible pool. Fox is lacking many things, especially in the customer service area. The #1 reason why I love Medina is they do not charge a food minimum, and you can play unlimited, FREE golf! Fox charges you a food minimum bill and you have to pay every time you want to golf, which I find ridiculous. The reason I chose to compare my experiences with both of these clubs is because I thought Medina was on a whole different level, and I feel like the two needed to be compared. I am going to switch over pretty soon, because the 5 minute drive to Medina CC is worth it to me. I really hope Fox Meadow realizes that members are dissatisfied, and they decide to turn things around. Thanks for taking the time to read this review, and consider the the things I said about Fox before making the decision to join or switch. Thanks again!

Kids are allowed to drive golf carts with no respect for stop signs iv almost hit carts 3 separate times due to them just driving on the roadways without even stopping I feel if they dont have a parent or drivers license they shouldnt be allowed to operate the golf carts on the road or sidewalks we love our children so dearly and they are the future of the world one of these days someone is going to get hit because of lack of respect for roadways sorry fox Meadows

Hurricane mathew put a damper on my golf trip to myrtle beach so my buddies and I ended up in Ohio of all places. Beatiful well manicured course, challenging and unique hole layouts, and a menu at the clubhouse that wont dissapoint your taste buds. No need to look for a great restaurant after your round. Compliments to the chef and to the course superintendent. 5 stars all day.
