I never write reviews, but I figured I had to with the experience I had at this golf course. I had been golfing there for 2 years now with people from work nearly every Thursday we could get out and play and it used to be a pleasurable experience. We would have anywhere from 4-8 people play so we gave a decent amount of business to them. Yesterday I had set up tee times with them for 5:30 and 5:40 since we had 6 playing. We hit traffic on 28 heading in and I called ahead of time to let them know I was sorry and we were running about 10 minutes behind due to this. Tom who works there said that is fine as long as you are here in the next 30 minutes. Here is where the problem started. When we arrived there were two people in front of us in the club house. The gentleman at the counter (not Tom) was extremely rude to them and condescending which upset the customers (Get this, it was because they were 10 minutes early). Then when I approached and let him know we were here for our tee time I told him we had the 5:30 and 5:40 time he rudely told us we were late and we could not play(We arrived at 5:50). I was like, I just talked to Tom a few minutes ago and he said it was fine. Tom showed up and said rudely said maybe you should show up on time... I had just talked to you on the phone I said and you said we were ok. He said well not anymore were booked up. There were many rude comments these gentleman made in between to me, the people with me, and the 2 customers in front of us who did nothing wrong. Myself and my party did not fight with them to stoop down to their level. We were polite the entire time despite it being very hard to do so. Dont get me wrong, I understand in golf you need to stick to your tee times. However, when we are making the drive out to you and I call ahead to let you know we are running a little late and you tell me it is fine you arent that busy, when we show up honor your word. If you cant fit us in due to us being late, let me know ahead of time when I call, I would have understood. Needless to say, the lack of professionalism these gentleman have and the way they treat customers, myself or my co workers we will never be going to this golf course again. We will be taking our business to Deer Track whose staff fit us right in and were 100% more friendly. The course is a lot nicer too and better maintained. Take the extra 15 minutes and go here. Do yourself a favor. Note to owner: Be careful who you are hiring because these two individuals who were working on 5/19 are going to cost you a lot more business(the two in front of us will probably not come back either). If one of you is the owner who I had the fantastic pleasure of meeting, I hope you re-evaluate your method of treating customers so this doesnt happen again. I did enjoy playing there while it lasted. **Apologize for long read and any typos. Hope this helps**

Years and years ago this used to be a great course. That was before a real estate developer bought the course. Now, this place is a dump. The driving range is the worst I have seen. They have cut down tons of trees and filled in bunkers. The fairways by June are burned and torn beyond repair. The woman that runs the place day to day is one of the most rude hateful golf course workers that I have ever run across. This course will cut off carts at 5:00 or 5:30 pm on a summer day when it doesnt get dark until 9:00 or 9:30 pm. I would not recommend this course to anyone. Take a look at the clubhouse and cart barns as you pull in and quickly turn around before you are on here also speaking of your bad experiences with this dump. Golfer beware.

I walked the front 9 in late June 2008. The tee boxes were in need of repair, and some of the holes lacked a sign indicating length or layout of hole as well as ball washers etc. Pack your sun screen. The holes are very open and the rough is low, so youre not going to lose too many balls, but the trade off is little shade anywhere. For someone getting back into the game like me, or the beginning or casual player, this is a great value, not crowded, and fun course. As I said, I walked 9 holes for $8.75. This is NOT a country club, but for those looking to get out and keep the cost down, have at it. Pro shop has the necessities (balls, tees) but not much else. Again no frills, but good golf value.

We just recently joined Eagles Nest golf course as a member. There has been much improvement on the overall course. The tee boxes have improved significantly, however they need to do housekeeping on a daily basis. The fairways and greens are in excellent shape for a middle of the road golf course. This is NOT Riverbend, but for the value, "well done!" One other thought, since Jason has taken over the customer service has gone up dramatically. Jason and his team treat people fairly and offer a good experience. I strongly suggest not to tell anyone so that we can keep this golf course to ourselves! Happy Golfing!

Have been to hit range balls many times with my kids. They have always let my daughter borrow a couple clubs for the range. This time they would not because they were "leaving soon"... nevermind it was a good hour before sunset and the range and course still had plenty of people playing golf. The older guy behind the counter just wanted to get out of there and didnt care about customers. Sad, because it was always a good place to let my daughter hit balls and teach her the game of golf. I hope this isnt their new standard of service!

Just had to write a review after reading the other reviews. Played back in the fall 2012 on the advice of another friend. Had a good time, the greens are better than most of the courses in the area. Yes the clubhouse is an old barn, put Im there to play golf not sit in the clubhouse. They have older carts but the prices cant be beat. I will defintely be back when the weather breaks. As far as the one complaining about his 4 yr. old, You dont get in to Kings Island for free just to watch your kids ride.

Let me start by saying "I dont do golf." I do however live in the area and my husband chips, putts, and hits a bucket of balls there often. He and I have seen much improvement in the course and are most thankful that the course is still here. It would have been a super shame had it been sold and turned into housing or retail. Thanks for the great work. Keep up the improvements. :)

I hadnt played here in 30+ years and was pleasantly surprised at the shape of the golf course. The greens were some of the best Ive played this year, and the shape of the course in general was very nice. The old Eagles Nest that I played many years ago is gone and was impressed at how far its come today. I will most certainly be back.
