I was invited to the course today by a member. The course was in really great shape; minus the numerous ball marks on each green. I considered buying a membership immediately after my round assuming that the money I paid for the days round would be credited towards the cost of the membership. For me, this seems logical as you would not go buy a car without first testing it to see if it was a good fit for you. When I asked, I was told that I should have asked about the membership before the round and that I would not be able to discount the cost of the mornings round if I purchased a membership same day. I know that ClubCorp will offer courtesy rounds to prospective members. I will be trying them out next.

Fabulous layout. Holes are interesting and the course can play difficult from the blue tees or further back. The problem is the condition of the course, particularly the greens. All of the greens have patchy bare spots and weeds growing in them. Im talking actual weeds and not poa annua. The rest of the course is in ok condition but the greens are terrible and that accounts for my bad rating. It is a shame since the course layout is really very nice.

We played on Wednesday, May 9th, and the course is in really great shape. Greens are near PGA perfect and fairways need just another week or two to be fully grown in. Rough and sand is very playable. Staff is friendly and efficient and the bar had killer 1/2 Lb bacon cheeseburgers and a great beer selection. At the weekday senior rate of $35 you cant go wrong playing here. We will be back!

This is a above average gated community. 24 hour security at the front gate. Security personnel is always kind and courteous. Amenities include pool, tennis courts, beautiful golf course and clubhouse (available for private events) Front entrance is accented with two water features including cascading waterfall effects. Community surrounds a large lake considered to be "Crystal Lake".

Golfed Wednesday June 12th. The course looks like it used to be nice but sort of ratty now. The score cards have no view of the holes so if you have never golfed there before youre going to hit into hidden creeks etc. The general manager seems to have an attitude. The service with a smile stuff seems to be non existent. Ill be playing other courses.

Crystal Lake Golf course is in great shape and it is a pleasure playing golf on a well maintained course...and the staff and personnel at the course are gracious and pleasant people...I enjoyed playing golf at Crystal Lake Golf course which is one of my favorite places to play golf in the Atlanta George area...Gil Gilbeaux

Nice track, a little spread out. Needs a half way house or a cart girl. Needs a ranger to help keep up play. Its also a shame golfers dont repair green side divots. Still nice place will play again.

The course is in good shape tee to green. The pace of play was great for 8 holes. But the back 9 was painful for a twosome today. Dont understand why there are no ballwashers.

Nice course, but pace of play Saturday morning at 10 am was horrid...5+ hours...waited on every tee box. I wont be going back anytime soon and certainly not on a weekend.
