June 16th my foursome came down from Chicago we made a mistake and drove a cart next to the green, the group was confronted aggressively by Jeff Page the club pro, they were told in no uncertain terms to move the f...ing cart and the driver said ok and went to move the cart while the other occupant stood their in disbelief that he was being spoken to in that manner and the pro said to him what are you staring at which he replied what are you staring at, that is when I walked up and said to the pro be respectful.. Now prior to me stepping in hes yelling at all of us YOUR OUT OF HEAR, YOUR OUT OF HEAR.. for simply making a mistake with the cart, all he had to say was please move the cart and it would have been over. So then he calls the owner David Waynick who shows up in a couple minutes and we start to explain what we did and we tell him that his pro said move the f...ing cart and the pro denies that he said it... and David yells SHUT UP at us, he says he wants to talk to his pro to decide if they will allow us to continue, so he comes back we start to explain again and he yells SHUT UP to us 3 more times and asks where we are from we tell him Chicago and he says that figures (I am not surprised he says) probably because the Hawks kick their ass on a regular basis! So we want to finish our round and we painfully shut up as he asks and he proceeds to explain the rules of golf to us and says if we do anything else he will remove us from the course.. Now we had a few beers and I am the driver for the group and I say to my group these guys are out to get us and we are going to Uber it back to our hotel because I do not trust them they are unreasonable people and out to get us.. so one person in my group has not played golf before and looses 2 clubs at the course and we decide to leave and hopefully they get turned in and I would pick them up in the am when I come back to get my car.. what happens next is telling about who these people are.. Two of us are in the Uber going back to the hotel and I get a call from Ronnie @ Nashboro who says we have your clubs and what kind of car are you driving (why would he ask... because we believe that they were going to call the cops on us and get one of us busted, why else would they ask us about the car we are driving? We also heard Ronnie speaking to someone on 2 different calls saying that yes they are still hear and that he didnt know and would call him back, so you tell me what they were trying to do.. These are bad people and this course is less than perfect find somewhere else to play, its not worth it if you are from Chicago stay away!!

This is by far the worst managed Golf Course in the country. Ive lived here all of my life, and Ive played this course over a hundred times. The current staff here is the rudest and most unfriendly that youll ever see anywhere. Dont waste your time and money. You know theres a problem when the head pro is the one whos cutting the grass. You will hear gunshots and sirens constantly. The last time we played, the cops were chasing criminals across the course and tazing them. One criminal got away and kept running back and forth across the fairways. This is a dangerous place. I was wondering why there were only three cars in the parking lot at 8:30 in the morning. Now I know. Make sure you have your carry permit and your gun with you if you play. There is an idiot named Willie who works in the Pro Shop who is too stupid to know that he is stupid. He seems to want to do everything he can to keep people from playing there. He is on some kind of a Power Trip. The guy is a complete moron. I wouldnt play here again even if it were free. Stay away!

This place is terrible. The round started of bad when they charged us for 18 holes when we had a tee time for 9; They then refused to issue a refund. The round took a particularly terrible turn when grounds keeps refused to clear the fairway for us to play through on two separate holes. The stood directly in our path looked at us, and then continued to shovel sand. There is a terrible amount of noise from the surround areas and a complete lack of trenquility. I personally play to relax and enjoy some time outside, sadly this was not the case during this round. I would highly recomend playing other local courses. They are better maintained and the people maintaining the courses understand basic golf etiquette. In response to your reply: Hah! Second chances are for drug addicts not businesses. The way we were treated at your course was completely unacceptable. I will certainly never step foot on your course again and I will encourage every golfer I meet to do the same!

I guess Nashboro as an actual golf course is generally in ok shape, but the negatives FAR out way the positives here, and this is coming from a player who has played the course over 25 times. Its located in the ghetto of Nashville (Antioch) and little kids come running out on to the course pretty much constantly, sometimes grabbing your ball as they run across the fairway after your drive. Also, and most importantly, the staff ESPECIALLY A OLD MAN NAMED MIKE. Mike is the sole reason I will never play this course again and neither will anyone I know. The guy has no class and thinks he and his crappy ghetto golf course are somehow special. I advise anyone who is considering this course to just pick one of the several others in Nashville where you can get an enjoyable golf experience without having to deal with the ghetto and the rudeness. Please do not play this course.

Im not generally one to write reviews about things even when I have a bad experience. I have to make an exception here. Was in town for CMAFest and squeezed in a couple rounds around town. Based on the reviews I was excited about playing here. If this course has bounced back from what it used to be I cant imagine how rough it may have once been. The course is still pretty ragged and not worth the $50 I paid to play it. That really is the issue, the course has promise and the Pro Shop AND Grill staff was awesome, but its really rough around the edges and still is not worth the rate charged. My irritation with the course was amplified due to the fact that there was no ranger and the group ahead of me was turning my day into a 5.5 hour round.

Great Course....Tough course. Very under-rated as no one talks about Nashboro like they do some of the others, but they should be. Great time playing there, really enjoyed it. The guys in the pro-shop are awesome as well extremely friendly.....Sean Wells the Pro really makes people feel welcome, and he goes out of his way to make everyone feel like a member there. I know some of the guys who play in the association and they have always raved about how well things are planned out there, the course when they play tourneys etc.... I would encourage everyone to get out there and play the course....you will come away impressed for sure...especially when you look at difficulty and quality vs. cost....you cant beat it.... Spinman
