Filthy, moldy, sticky & dusty. The drinks from the pop dispenser taste as if it was never fully cleaned. Rude teenaged staff. If you have asthma do not set foot in this nightmare of a place! Only good aspect is more or less low prices since you wont get a penny back as you vomit & hack your way out the door to fresh air before watching the movie.

Decent enough cinema and staff (although cash only in this day and age is ostensibly barbaric). Cinema was updated years back and looks much better than before with comfortable seats and a good screen. The BIG flaw of this place is the movies themselves. If you want to see any films aimed towards adults they rarely EVER show them. So sad.

We love the place!! the old-timey atmosphere is great, the prices are fair & the staff is wonderful if you treat them like people. I thank God for these people that hold family values & doing right above just making money. Its a good place to TAKE your kids, not dump em.

Each year my family & I rent a cottage in Linwood Park, Vermilion OH. We always plan at least one rainy or super hot night to see a movie at Amherst Cinema. The kids love the old time feel of the cinema and I love the family friendly movies and pricing. Great place!

A very simple movie theater but isnt that what we like when we come to a movie theater to watch a movie? They always get good movies and prices are really cheap. Always a nice time going. Very kid friendly movies, rarely show 18+ movies.

Amherst is my hometown and I LOVE this movie theater! It is so special to our town and the ticket price has not moved in over 15 years. This place is legit! Definitely come and see a movie!

Super affordable!! Theatre is clean. Floor is NOT sticky like it is in some other theatres. Employees are very friendly. Overall a wonderful family outing.
