Was excited to see that they would be playing "The Good Dinosaur" and we could take our two small children to see it as a family....then Snowpocalyse 2016 hit. We emailed the night before to see if they would still be having a 3PM show on Sunday since most roads were clear...was emailed back Sunday morning saying it would depend on how things looked at 1 PM. Was emailed again later Sunday morning and told that they would "definitely" be having a 3PM show. Got there at 3 PM and started unloading kids to only be told crassly that not enough people showed up and there would be no show. We were never told that there was a quota that had to be filled....only that there would definitely be a show at 3 PM. Poor customer service and attitude towards potential patrons.

This is one of the things that makes Tryon such a great place to live. Under new owners in 2017, they are upgrading it to make it better, but it is great as it is. Where else can you watch a second run movie (new to me) for $8 with fresh popcorn for $2 and a glass of wine or a cold beer for $2-3? They have an interesting indy or foreign Film Society movie twice a month and show 2nd run releases on other days. I dont need to see a new movie when it first comes out. I can wait a few months to see it here in town, and I enjoy the big screen theater experience over watching a rental on TV.

A charming little town, some art, blacksmithing, charming little main street and lots of horse events and competitions. At the mouth of the pacolet gorge--a beautiful place with a number of waterfalls and beautiful hikes. Also near other hikes such as blue wall.

A gem! Great movie selections including independent films. Fair pricing on ticket and snacks. Upstairs balcony with a couple cafe tables to enjoy a beer and a bucket of popcorn. Local and independent.

Congratulations to the new owners of this great iconic Tryon landmark. Sound has improved greatly and so excited to see the coming changes! Your movie selection is superb and its the best popcorn around!

I love this little theatre. Ticket prices are similar to most theatres but their concessions seem to be more reasonable
