Having seen advice about getting there early to get a good seated view we stood in line for an hour before the doors opened and got seat with a good view. Which all came to naught when a couple decided to arrive for the headliners and stood right in our line of sight and would not move. Managements view if this was they have paid their money the same as us and can stand where they like! So, if we ever go there again, which is very unlikely, well do the same. Plus when we moved to get a view 3 young men arrived and stood near us and talked though the whole thing. So much for American courtesy. Pity because its a nice venue and the sound was good, but we really dont need this kind of thing. And it was patently obvious that having got our money the management just did not care.

One of my favorite venues to hear live music in the area...The Visulite Theatre has a history of bringing in great acts to the Charlotte area and the stage is situated so you can see and hear the performers.Good sound, good drinks and a great staff who work there...I have seen: Derek Trucks, Leftover Salmon, The Robert Randolph Band, Galactic, Bob Mould, Billy Joe Shaver, Blueground Undergrass,Carbon Leaf, Lucinda Williams, Acoustic Syndicate,Moonshine Racers, Danny Barnes, Chatham County Line,JJ and Mofro, Steep Canyon Racers,Tony Furtado,Los Lonely Boys, M.O.E. ,Bernie Worrell and many more fine acts at the Visulite Theatre...Good folks promoting good music!

I saw Stars play here recently. Visulite is wonderful. Ive been to various venues in Charlotte and Chapel Hill and Visulite remains to be the most beautiful. The Stars show included a free album download with ticket purchase. Someone was at Visulite handing out cards for this but I was not given one on the night of the show. I emailed their box office and got an email back from Will, the manager. He was able to send me an access code. Beautiful theater, awesome customer service, and large drinks at the bar! What more could you ask for?

The whole "membership" thing is significantly effecting this venue. Im not sure why this was implemented, but its needs to end. Ive been attending live music for 25yrs across a multiple of states... membership is NOT required to walk in a private establishment unless requested by the owner. Ive seen this is a marketing ploy implemented in bars etc... and it should end. Fix this and Id be happy to write a more positive review. However, I will not attend anymore events here if this continues.

I am always thrilled to attend a concert here. Its a very intimate experience and the area around the venue is great. Ive never had trouble finding a parking spot(parking lots in front, in the back, street parking, and additional parking down the street towards CPCC). Drinks are fair for a venue and there is a street car(free) stop out front that runs until 12am on Fridays and Saturdays so you could take it into Uptown or to connect with the light rail after the show.

Me and My son Went to see Eden the place is standing room only the sound sucks and if your under 21 there is a 2 dollar charge at the door because they expect you to buy there mixed drinks to make them more money. I wasnt happy with this because they all ready added the 2 dollars to the ticket price so i had to pay 4 altogether. I wont go back

The Visulite is one of my favorite music venues in Charlotte! Were usually up front and dancing every time we see a show. Its tiered so I dont think theres a bad view in the house. They also have a great beer selection, the sound is excellent, and the service is friendly and fast. It is a Charlotte gem!

This is my favorite music venue in Charlotte. The setting is very intimate. The venue is always clean and the staff is friendly. The prices for shows are always moderate to low. The acoustics of the venue are unparalleled in Charlotte.

Great performances in a dynamic space. Large bar and very clean restrooms. Limited seating space, so if youre attending a concert, get there early for a seat.

Actually, I go to church here on Sundays. Queen City Church has their Sunday service here at 10:30AM. Overall it is a good venue for what it is.
