Terrible staff. Ive been a server before and ran social media and reviews for restaurants, and I have never left a bad review before specifically because I know how devastating it can be for a business. With that being said, this place has never heard of customer service. I truly hope the owner is unaware of his employees attitudes towards their paying customers, because if my employees acted like this then I would be out of business. I received a vodka water with minimum vodka in it. A vodka water tasting like water? Absurd. Anyway, I asked for more vodka because I couldnt taste it. Again, when mixed with water... the server brought me my drink back tasting much better. I asked for another drink about 15 mins later, and another drink was brought. About 15 mins after that, the server brought me my tab. I never asked for it. Maybe he was cut and trying to leave? I get it. Ive done that before myself, no worries. But I received my tab and was charged for 4 drinks when I only had 2. Apparently asking for more alcohol added to a vodka water that tastes like straight water costs double. But not only that, once you complain about the weakness of the drink, they charge you double the rest of the night. The manager came over and asked what was wrong, and I explained that I was charged for four drinks when I only had two. She said "Well you asked for more liquor, we have to charge you more." Let me be clear, I asked to add more liquor to my drink because it literally tasted like water... but the server never made any mention of an up charge. Typically bars will do this at no additional cost because they want their customers happy. Anyway, I told the manager that thats fine... Ill pay double for that because I did ask for more. But I never asked for a second drink to be a double. That drink was brought to me, and I was charged for something with no preceding action of my own. After letting the manager know that what was happening is illegal, I realized that this scene wasnt worth my $7. I paid the bill and instead decided to let you guys all know. Ill never return to Tin Roof, this place doesnt understand what running a business requires in 2017. The music also was overwhelming. Its funny cause we walked in immediately finding reasons why we should leave, but decided to wait and see the menu before we left. $3 PBRs competed with the whole epicenter so we stayed, but I learned shortly why they needed to price themselves below everyone. Approach with caution.

We went in with a group of friends to end our night around 1:30, all bought drinks, were having a good time. Out of no where this bartender started kicking people out because they had a long day and they can "close whenever the f*** they want" at 1:46. I proceeded to ask the question as paying customer do yall close at 1:46, or 2:00? The lady said whenever they want and I have a problem with it, I can talk to the officer outside. A security guard tried to grab me so my fiancé stood up for me. They then proceeded to rip his drink out of his hand that we had just paid for, and then I questioned it, and at 1:50am I got throw out and into the railing by a security officer for no reason other than I said Im sorry we paid for that drink, do yall close at 2:00 or 1:50 because we paid for that f******^" drink. Then I after I was out of the bar I turned around to yell at the security guard who threw me into a railing for no reason, so he then put his hands in my face, and ran me into the railing again. Now I understand it was a long day with the bar crawl, but under what grounds is it okay to rip a drink from a customers hands because they questioned why we were getting kicked out. Which honestly, the only reason they were kicking people out was because they were tired and had a long day. How appalling you treat your customers like this and let one of your security guards treat a woman like that. I have a complaint filed with CMPD, and the managers will hear from us.

I dont typically write reviews but with this place I am absolutely disappointed with the service. I was there on a Thursday night with a group of friends and they werent even that busy. The server, Mack, hardly checked in on us. Not only that he ended up charging me twice for the same meal, no one else in my party had this issue. I was only aware of this when I checked my bank account the next day to find 2 transaction made for the same amount to tin roof. Ive called and the GM (Angie OConner) was conveniently out of the store. They took down my information and she was suppose to give me a call back, which I have yet to receive. I did a follow up the next day and she was supposedly in a conference call, this was around 2 in the afternoon. It has now been 3 days and I have yet to receive a call from anyone. I am truly disappointed in this bars service and how they handle their issue and that they would steal from their customers this way. Ive worked retail and in customer service environments and never would I treat anyone like this. I will never go back there and I hope no one else would too, as they might try to steal from you too.

Service was extremely slow. The waitress went missing for 20+ minutes. Ordered tacos with no hot mayo and after waiting 30 minutes got tacos with hot mayo. Then the waitress went missing. So I asked another waitress to fix it and the food came back in 2 minutes. Only problem was that they had just wiped the mayo off and had not done a good job because they didnt even wipe it all off. Ive never written a review before in my life but this was so bad I thought I was on an episode of Bar Rescue. I was hoping John Taffer was going to pop out and yell at someone. If this place continues like this I dont expect it will be around long. I would definitely tell people to steer clear of this place.

THIS PLACE IS RACIST. I have come here a few times after work with friends and karaoke some weeks, and have had my suspicion when I would be overlooked by the bartenders but a few months ago I applied there as a bartender. I am a very professional looking African Woman with no tattoos or piercings. I wanted to leave the banking industry and go back into the service industry. Recently, I came across a former employee in whom I bartended with at a local bar not far from uptown and he (a caucasian male who was not fired but left there for a better opportunity) told me that "black people at tin roof only work the door and the kitchen). I will make this known! Bunch of bigots!

Having a great time with friends...order a coconut rum and sprite.. the bar tender misunderstands and poors regular rum...I apologize for the miscommunication, but request coconut...the bar tender dumps out the cup with the disgusted look and yells "next time make sure I hear you." ...taken aback, respond "sorry, I said coconut, but I apologize." Needless to say I leave no tip. A minute later a bouncer is telling me I need to leave...after telling the bouncer the story in a polite tone, he apologized and said that the bar tenders do "bullshit" like that often and that I didnt need to leave...wont be going back.
