I would like to give this theater a NEGATIVE 5 for todays FIASCO with my special needs child who has autism. You dont close a snack bar with that many people watching movies. I do appreciate your theater having special needs movies for the school kids. But making everyone get all they need before the movie and NOT TELLING THEM that the snack bar is not open during the Movie is a NO NO for you or any movie company. Kids with Autism dont like crowds and they are not able to wait sometimes. So I was gonna come out during the movie and get her some candy and you had no one working the snack bar which caused a meltdown resulting in neither of us getting to watch half the movie. SO I feel you owe me 2 tickets and a free box of candy - since you BOTCHED movie day. You apparently have no clue what is means to have or deal with special needs kids. Most the time this theater is good and their snack bar is open - but today was a total cluster bomb. Seriously when you have all the special needs there - did you honestly think everyone wanted to stand in line right then and get snacks...IDIOT. Like I said normally its not like this....they usually pretty good during normal movie time. But not during special needs special showings. And they normally give the kids a snack box. With popcorn, drink, and candy. Well today it was drink and popcorn only. And any special needs mom will tell you. You DONT MESS with routine when you have special needs kids. UGH

I love this theater and prefer it over the Galleria on Watson. I gave it four stars for a few reasons. 1: I think they should offer the movie tickets outside like they used to for those who dont want to wait in line for concessions. Though I understand their wanting to minimize the lines. 2. The theater is FREEZING. Ive been in cold theaters but its extremely uncomfortable to enjoy the movie when you feel like youre in an ice box. I usually wear my jacket and bring a small blanket but in the future I will be bringing a twin comforter. lol. And the volume could be a little higher for the film but it isnt too bad. You cant hear the neighboring movies being played like the Galleria. But other than those issues I enjoy this theater. They also offer a better concession collection, but due to the freezing theater, I hope they start offering hot chocolate as well. :)

Regarding Robert Barlows review. I for one will gladly give my ticket to any military person that cant afford one even if that means I go home without seeing the movie. Anyone that will die for there country is a hero in my book! Maybe you need a smack across the head buddy. Anyhow the movie theater is very nice and if you have a problem with txting just get the manager and they will talk to the person. Just know the night shows are full of kids and the day shows are full of familys. Pick your time. Its a public theater thus you get exposed to public. If you want 100% perfect you best rent a nice DVD. I love the GTX theater. Its awesome.

Came with my sisters for a movie at 10pm on a Saturday nite, at 11pm tried to purchase another order of Nachos not for me but my sister n they told me concessions were closing down n I couldnt purchase them. Then another obvious genius cashier stated to me "oh taco Bell has nachos" n I stated back "Im still watching a movie" I live in Macon and traveled 33mins to view this movie bc at my local theaters they werent showing the movie we wanted to see. Super pissed, girl was lucky I didnt choke her. Im not a violent person but I really feel disrespected and disappointed. Horrible experience. Will not be coming back.

What can I say about this? No military discount was a shock because of how close they were to an Air Force base. This in my opinion is abysmal! It was clean and the customer service OK because there was a single attendant that we had to ask if we paid him for the movie. It was a slow day when we went there. The movie theater itself was sort of forgettable because the seats were uncomfortable. I might just be spoiled from my movie theater, but paying $7.50 for tickets. I bought popcorn & a drink and they were both not worth the $15 I paid. I was quite disappointed.

Definitely our go-to movie theater in the area. Located in a nice neighborhood, plenty of parking, clean and sanitary restrooms, always a variety of good movies (new and classic) available, helpful staff, and comfortable/well maintained seating to enjoy the show. There was one time we tried watching an afternoon show but the theater was closed for an event or reserved party when we got there. It wasnt too big of a deal but notices and/or posters on the front of the theater, informing the public of the changed hours wouldve been nice.

My experience would have been delightful had it not been so many texters in the theater. What bothers me (and others I suppose) about texters is that while watching the movie; a light (from his or her screen) comes on and is a distraction from the movie screen. It is so disrespectful to moviegoers. Often times people go to the movies to enter another world.. and here come ignorant people with their technology and interrupting the process. It is so annoying..

The actual movie theater is pretty good even though the main lobby is rather lackluster. I am,however, quite displeased with how I was treated by the manager when handling an incident with another customer. With him assuming I was a child just because I look younger than my actual age he created a scene in front of the entire theater instead of discussing the issue privately with me and the other customer. I will not be returning.

I would have given five stars, but then they started the GTX assigned seating. And now you also have to stand in the long line for the concessions just to purchase your movie ticket. So that means people who run out of the movie real quick to get a refill have to stand in line behind people waiting to purchase movie tickets. They have an area for ticket purchasing outside, and they really need to start using that again.

Better than average sound, seats and snack bar. The smaller rooms are a bit cramped, but thats what smaller rooms are. The employees there are very friendly, and the bathrooms are very different. By different, I mean that they are very very clean. The cinema we go to is a bit closer, but given the same movie choices...we would go here if we could. Dont forget to try the snack bar. Their popcorn is really good.

The theater seats do not allow small children to sit without it flipping up on them. I literally have to hold my sons seat down the entire time. Children 3 and under are free, however not in the GTX theater which is ridiculous. It is far from full in here and I had to pay $42 for myself and 3 toddlers. Also no military discount??? Why not?!

Generally clean and as long as you avoid the seats just a few feet from the screen, the view for most screens is pretty good. Recommend you join their free rewards program. Then you can just give them your cell number when buying tickets/concessions. You always get free up-sizing and points for free future tickets/concessions.
