My family and I arrived at 7:00 pm for an 8:10 showtime of Star Wars Rogue One. After being told we needed to wait in the box office area until 7:10, a female manager (?) told us and the few other people that were standing waiting that we had to wait outside (in the 14 degrees) because it was so "chaotic" in the lobby. Eight to ten minutes may not seem long, but when it is 14 degrees and windy, its a long time. Everyone entered the theater at 7:08 and the employee in the box office let us into the lobby. The woman that made us leave the theater saw us enter two minutes early and in disgust said "just go ahead". The lobby had people on line for snacks but the center of the lobby was completely clear. As I passed this manager (?) I stated that it was not that chaotic in here, to which she yelled back that she could ask me to leave the theater. I kept waking. I bought these tickets on-line weeks ago, paying service charges in doing so. My family and I frequent this Regal often. I think we will go to the AMC at Maple Ridge from now on. The reclining seats there are awesome and the customer service is much friendlier!!

This theater has stadium seating and friendly staff -- thats where its good qualities end. The movie I want to see -- one that led the box office charts for three weeks running -- is only showing once a day, at 10 am. But I wanted to see it, so I drove the 20 minutes through morning traffic, only to learn that they had canceled all showings of every movie before 11 am. What kind of theater shows a movie just once a day, then cancels that showing? To make matters worse, their phone service is (as others reviews have noted) terribly frustrating and useless on top of that. So they are liable to cancel shows at any time, without notice, and the only way you can find out is by going there in person and being turned away at the door. If you are lucky enough to get in to see your movie, the experience is typical of any theater, so theres no need to hold out for this place in particular.

Regal Cinemas, Williamsville, NY. Run by a collection of people who apparently forgot their empathy at home. People who wont let you stand in the building to wait for your movie, in the middle of December, because "theres too many people, congregating". They made all their customers, paying customers by the way, wait outside in the freezing cold while they stood inside and watched. Ridicoulous. I paid for tickets and was treated like a problem. Im certainly not the only one bothered by this, seeing other reviews. The people that ran this theater on 12/15/16 around the 8:10 showing of Star Wars ought to be ashamed of themselves. Very poor customers service. Im going to do the same as the person that left the other review and go to AMC.

I worked in a movie theater, so Im pickier than the average audience member, but I have had almost all good experiences coming to this Regal. The staff members are always polite, the projection is usually very good, the stadium seating means no one in front of you blocks your view, and the seats are very comfortable and supportive. In fact, theyre better for my back than the reclining ones that some of the other Regals have. Most importantly, any time I have had a complaint or problem, the managers have been receptive and glad to correct the problem or give us a comp ticket to use the next time.

If you buy tickets online they charge you a 4 dollar convenience fee.....FOR BUYING YOUR TICKETS ONLINE!!!! Wtf....might as well add a 5 dollar convenience fee onto the convenience fee and then pay a quarter for every step you take on the property, 1 dollar per bathroom visit and thats Not counting the 5 cents a piece per toilet paper sheet. Washing your hands? Another dollar. Oh you want to re-enter the theater that you already paid a ticket for? Yea thats gonna be 5 bucks. Bottom line. Companies are nickel and diming the nickel and dime. POS company.

This theater is starting to get a little old. The seats are not "revolutionary" like they used to be. It is still better than going to Dipson or Flix, but the money is better spent at the Regal in the Galleria mall. All screens there are DLP and the seats are rockers. This is the only place to go for IMAX tho, so there is that. I only get popcorn and drink when i get them from the rewards program, and they are standard "over priced over buttered" popcorn and "too much ice in my" drink as usual. This place is really busy on Friday and Saturday nights.

I cant even count the number of movies Ive seen at this location. Every time a new blockbuster movie comes out, this is my theater of choice. The regular theater and IMAX theater are always a great experience. Movies are generally crowded on opening weekends for every movie, but if you can sneak in during the day on a weekday, youll basically be the only one in the theater. Plus, their Regal Crown Club gives you free movie tickets, soft drinks, and popcorn on occasion, and its all free. Best place to see a movie in the Amherst/Williamsville area.

Have to love your retro styled movie theatre. Regal has always done me well, and this is the only cinema in the area with an IMAX screen which is a huge plus. Been always satisfied with the staff here. However cleanliness is a consistent issue - within reason as I cant speak for how difficult it must be to clean a cinema. Being said, the floors are generally always a little bit too sticky. Ive recently noticed at least one screen in the theatre has had its seating updated with newer comfy rocker seating and retractable arm rests.

They charge more than other theatres. I recently went to see Jurassic World. The floor was so slippery going up the stairs that I almost fell many times. Even in front of my seat my feet kept sliding. In the middle of the movie they had a fire alarm. I cant blame them for that but after 45 minutes outside they let us back in. The movie started back fifteen minutes after we left it. Another 20 minutes later they restarted the film back to the position we were in before the drill. Very poorly operated.

Called Tuesday to ask how long a particular film would be showing. The girl put me on hold to ask. When she returned she assured me it would be playing through the end of the month (another two weeks). Saturday I check what times the film was playing for the weekend and its not on the listings. So I call and the girl that answers says "yeah that was last weeks movie sorry" everybodys sorry. Nobody actually does there job. I hate it when employees arent well informed.

Regal is definitely the standard of traditional, chain, quality movie theatres. Its very expensive, but try the IMAX screen whenever you can! Also, I highly recommend being a Regal Club member or whatever its called. I have a card (its free) and every few movies, a stub prints out that gets me free popcorn or soda or whatnot. Also, to earn extra points you can get a remote control that you click if someones disturbing the movie or theres a problem. Cool!
