I started watching movies way before they ever had the remodel done, though back then I hardly did go there because the had a full rate during all day and night Friday, Saturday as well as Sunday so I did stay clear of the place on those days. And as far as that goes that is still my policy, but Monday thru Thursday damn skippy I go on those day and only there since they did do that remodel summer of 2013. Right after the remodel you could walk in and get a nice comfortable reclining seat and sit where you were most comfortable, but after all the general public caught wind of the remodel I know better than to just go there without pre-ordering a ticket only thats only way you can still get a seat you want. Dont get me wrong I definitely do love the remodel though I wish that reclining button was on the outside end of the chair arm instead of where it is because my thigh always hits it and the recliner goes down on me all the time. Love that you can butter your own pop-corn, get your own drink and do love the $10 credit you get after so many dollars spent before hand. Regals reward card used to be nice you get earn free movie passes, free drinks, candy and popcorn but now you cant, as well a couple years back they went to buying the cheapest crap popcorn Ive ever had, and believe me I bitched about that all the time to the managers. But anyway back to AMC its the only theater I go to at all for the past two years except for the occasional drive-in on Transit. The seating at AMC is not only more comfortable but there is also lots of elbow room, and you dont have to stand or even lower your legs for people to walk by you.

Every time Ive been here within the past year, I havent been able to see a movie. The first time, they were sold out of every movie for the rest of the night. The second time, the projector broke for the movie I wanted to see, and since it was the last showing I couldnt see it at all. The third time, I think the place was on fire? Everyone was standing outside and couldnt go in. There werent really any staff there to say what was happening. The 4th time, I went hours before the movie I wanted to see to get tickets early, to make sure I got in. There were about a dozen or so seats left, but not a single pair next to each other. The seating system used is obviously not working, if theres a ton of open seats all spread out in random places. Im not sure how it works, but the seating system should be organized so that the remaining seats would be in one area. I used to really like coming here before the remodel, but every time I come now, its completely full hours ahead of the start time, or somethings broken and they dont do anything about it.

While I enjoy the seating options and appreciate reserving a seat ahead of time, the phone customer service is atrocious. I was late for a movie and was given a re-admit pass but it doesnt seem like I can buy tickets online using the code. In order to figure out this possibility, I called the theater itself to find out what I can do. There is an extremely long automated message that tries to deter people calling and then it hangs up if you dont press the button for the operator quick enough. Once I press the button for the operator, another automated message plays in attempt to make me go online. After listening to that message for a full minute, it tells me that they are either too busy or I called after business hours and also hangs up. How can it be after business hours at 7pm on a Wednesday when there are way more movies showing? It wasnt even like I called a 1800 number. I still have no answer to my question and I just have to hope that the seats I want are still available when I get to the box office.

Absolutely wonderful. I had stopped going to the movies completely when my friend gave me a gift card to this place. The new remodel is amazing with these big comfy seats that recline and armrests that move up so it doesnt feel tight or cramped. The reserved seating is definitely an improvement, no more fumbling around in the dark trying to find a "good" seat. Also, they have two new coke "freestyle" machines which has something like 100+ flavors of coke? Anyway. This is hands down the best movie theater remodel Ive seen in years. This is now the ONLY place Im going to go from now on. Plus, with the fact that theyre still dollars cheaper than their WAY overpriced competitor Regal, there isnt any real reason to go elsewhere.

This place was a dump before the remodel a couple years back. Now its become absolutely the best place to watch a movie in WNY! The recliners are huge and comfortable, with great sight lines wherever you sit. The place fills up quickly for the latest movies, but its easy to reserve seats days in advance - no need to show up half an hour early to get a good seat. Concession prices are high, but you can get some discounts/rewards with a Stubs Premiere card. Popcorn is tasty, and you can butter it yourself. Coke Freestyle machine is a plus. Even though the Regal is upgrading their theaters with recliners, the ones at the AMC are bigger and better. My theater of choice, even though its 15 minutes farther away than the Regal.

I love this theatre but tonight I didnt have a good experience! We were running about 15 minutes late for the movie , something came up, & they werent trying to let us in after our tickets were already purchased until I demanded they refund our money. They never did anything like that before. I can understand if we were a half hour to an hour late to the movie but we were literally only 15 minutes late. Things happen where people cant be on time. We have to be on time to things in our daily lives, jobs , meetings etc. the movies is a place to get away from all we deal with on a regular so to be "punished" for running late to a movie is ridiculous! This 15 minutes late rule should be changed !!

Clean environment. Cushy seats. Smaller theaters so more seats are good seats, but kind of a con as well because you usually have to pre-order tickets online or through app to get seats sometimes hours before your movie. Prices are a bit more expensive compared to Regal and Dipson Cinemas in this area for both tickets and for refreshments. As far as refreshments, love the options they have. Almost close to being able to order an actual meal with your movie now. App is pretty good and can practically be paperless. I would recommend coming here if you goal is to get the full movie going experience, not just to watch a movie because, of course, you could just do that at home for cheaper.

Just watched the 6:30 Cinderella. Which we showed up for at 6:25. Granted, we purchased tickets at 11:30 online and picked our seats then. We need not worry about having a seat or whether wed have to split the group up. Speaking of seats, these are amazingly comfortable recliners with plenty of room. And theyre paired! So, if you like, you can lift the arm rest between 2 (the online seating chart makes it pretty clear where the pairs are located) so you can get up close and personal. Its a great, affordable, and comfortable theatre youll feel like your watching in the comfort of your own living room. And remember, holding hands is optional... But you wont be able to resist.
