Went there with 2 of my family members 2 adult tickets costed $31 alone and my nieces ticket was $12.50. Coming out to 43.50 for tickets alone! It was a sold out showing of secret life of pets and they were under staffed and took all the families orders first and ignored our row of adults who pay for more expensive items, even though I had my 11 yr old niece with me and my pregnant daughter. we were the last people to get our orders taken by a waitress who rushed right through it. My pregnant daughter could only have certain things because of her pregnancy. She wanted Mac and cheese but they only had an adult one with bacon and shrimp and she cant eat either one,but their was a kids size with nothing on it but she wanted something bigger. The waitress said "we can give you an adult size for less than the shrimp Mac and cheese." We got the Mac n cheese to later find they charged full price for her Mac and cheese. My daughter said its not worth the price and its the worst Mac n cheese she ever had. My niece had the kids cheese burger which was 7.95 not a bad price. I ordered the bistro burger and a 10oz glass of white wine. The burger was 12.95 for a huge piece of ok meat a bun and cheese with a side of fries. The wine was $14 for a 10oz glass of crappy wine. My daughter wanted pickles and she asked them to put a side of pickles on my burger but instead put them on my nieces. We ordered popcorn $8 for pretty bad movie popcorn. My daughter ordered ginger ale and it was 3.95! Later on my daughter orders chocolate colored raisins $6 pretty steep for a small box of not name brand candy. The entire thing including tickets and tips was $125!! And the worst of it is they include a $18 and a half percent tip and tell you you can only increase it, but on the receipt it says you can decrease or eliminate the tip all together. They charged an 11$ tip!! Who tips themselves before you see the quality of the service. I got up 2 times and a man sitting next to us got up once to get a waitresses attention before the movie started. During the movie we had to get up to get rid of our plates and get candy and a refill we ordered from the waitress. Its not worth the money to sit in big chairs and eat awful over priced food. TIPS: • if your going to drink wine or alcohol buy it at the bar •tell the m to not put tip on in beginning that you will decide on the tip based on their service (option at bottom of receipt after they charge tip) • go to a regular theater for cheaper name brand snacks and good popcorn Bad service, bad food, dishonest in tipping policy, never to return again, would give less than 1 star if possible, worst service ever

It has a lot of potential; nice seats, yes, but there are definitely some things they need to work out. I didnt like hearing about the system they have in place for payment, that they have a four digit number to adjust your bill, etc, etc. etc. Your tip is put onto the bill before you pay, this whole speech as soon as we sat down. We only ordered coffee and dessert, and our service was really bad. Not because they werent to be found, they just didnt know what they were doing. Keep the operations speech and just do your job. I picked out the center seats in the back row ahead of time online in the afternoon, and because the film was sold out, that meant waiting until ten oclock. As soon as we sat down, the woman next to us asked us if we would mind moving so that the gentleman next to us and his friend on the other side of us could sit with them. My date was gracious and we moved. BUT there are only a few seats across the theater (eight) and I wish we had not moved, because the view was markedly different in such a small theater with such big seats. The couple that moved didnt even interact with the others. Thanks guys. I moved into a seat with no menu or silverware and a wet ring where one of their drinks was. No one took care of it. The air conditioner vent was blowing on us the whole time with some kind of coconut air freshener. The desserts were prefab. The server didnt know whose was whose. Our coffees came out very late, ie they forgot about them. Again they didnt know whose was whose. Then later on, there were workers congregating outside the door and you could hear them socializing during the film. There was no manager in sight the entire time, including when we left the theater.

Cinebistro Cary venue itself is outstanding with good layout and design! Ample parking...smaller more intimate quieter theatres with extremely comfortable reclining chairs with attached swivel snack tables. Generally venue food service staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Bar staff often take longer to acknowledge you and take drink order than would be expected especially when slow during lag time between films. There seems to be a disconnect with management. Some details one might expect to be looked after at such a high end theater are missing. Basics like a well stocked bathroom that is clean, inspected regularly, trash picked up off floor and where the soap dispensers are full & functioning.....they should have more than one person selling tickets at all times 20-30 minutes prior to each show. Often there are people purchasing tickets for future shows in line, so if you arrive within 15 minutes of your movie start time you may experience a long wait lines... And if by chance you miss last call for food in theater, you might find yourself standing at the concession window for quite some time without anyone coming around. When you finally place your order you get a silent beeper to go back out for pick up...And if by chance the theater lights do not dim properly at the start of the show you may have to go out again to remind someone to do their job. Which is to check that the theater is ready ...to roll film. Those who would very much like to see this movie complex succeed hope management will take these comments to heart.

It was my husbands and mines first time at this theater and it was a very fun experience for a date but expect to spend more $$$ seeing a movie then you ever thought you would. We arrived about 40 mins before the movie and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine at the bar. We started off with the popcorn shrimp and calamari. My husband and I both enjoyed it and were delightfully surprised when we saw it came with actual popcorn as well. I had the Fettuccine al ferno with shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. My husband had a Cesar salad which he stated wasnt very good due to the following reasons; There wasnt enough dressing on the salad and the chicken was cold. My husband and I also had the crème brulé for desert and mojitos as our beverage of choice during the movie. All of which was very good. The service was courteous and the movie theater beautiful. It should be noted that they bring everything out all at once. The piece de la resistance without a doubt were the chairs. I want those chairs in my house. The way the gentle envelope you and entice you to recline and let the worries and cares of the world dissipate while you immerse yourself in another reality. I had to try to stay awake during the movie (Sausage Party) because the seats were so comfortable. All in all despite being a bit pricey it was a fun experience that I would recommend to everyone. Just remember to bring a sweater or blanket or youll be using the clothe napkins for warmth like I did.
