Winters Tale was the best movie I have seen in a long time. It easily compared to Le Mis and The Great Gadsby which I thought were excellent films. Saving Mr. Banks, Monuments Men and Frozen were also very good. I am surprised that Winters Tale did not play long at all & others are back again. I saw Winters Tale twice, once with my husband who also liked it (he is usually a hard sell) and the second time I went with a writer friend who also loved it. We both felt that we would like to write a story that was that good. Have not bought a movie that really excited me since Lady Hawk. Cant wait to see Winters Tale. Why did it not play long? Lady Hawk didnt either. Both were excellent Wall Street would have been better without the raw sex scenes and copious amt of f-words.

We go here almost every week. The seats are comfortable and have beverage holders and the arm between the seats lift up so a couple can sit closer together :o) My only complaint are the people who do not need handicap seats who sit there anyway and jerks who put their feet up on the bars behind those sitting in wheelchairs. Ive stopped buying the refreshments when a medium slurpie went up to five dollars. Sometimes someone isnt paying attention and the movie starts without sound, proper lighting, etc and someone has to go out in the hallway and let a manager know. I often use the kiosk to buy the tickets but they wont let you buy R rated tickets this way, understandable.

Its always something. Either people talking through the movie or like last night the guy near me cracking open sunflower seeds throughtout the whole movie. Hell last year I couldnt stand these two ladies talking through the movie anymore, so I politely asked them to please stop and they proceeded to curse at me and tell me they paid the same price as I did. I told the manager and although she did come and say something to them, as soon as she walked out they did the same exact thing. I do like Marquee cinemas but wtf is wrong with people today, and whatever happened to movie etiquet?

First off let me start off by saying that Im grateful for the fact that theres at least a movie theater in this area. Having said that, some of the theaters inside this facility are just in dire need for an update. The seats smell like a nursing home, some of them are broken, and some of the movie screens have defects on them that are noticeable while watching a movie especially when whatever is being projected is a very light color. Overall, if you can help it youll have a much better movie-going experience at Syracuse otherwise bring some Febreze

Went to this theater and it was OK. We ordered tickets online. We got there 10 minutes before the movie and the machine that spits out the tickets was out of order. We had to stand in this long line and then they wanted the credit card the tickets were bought with. We then realize, we left it at the restaurant!! WE had to drive there and back, get the tickets and arrived JUST as it was starting. The seats there were OK. There wasnt a lot of leg room and I kept hitting the guy in front of me on accident. Bathrooms were clean.

Great movie theater with amazing atmosphere, they really do try to immerse you into the experience. The food is great although being extremely overpriced, I guess there is no way of changing that though. My only real complaint is that some of the cashiers over the years seem to hate their job, by not even having any eye contact with me at all and just staring at their phone. Maybe Im old fashioned, who knows. Great experience if you have the money to pay for it.

The theater is okay technically. Comfort is good. Prices are too high for this market. However, its the smarmy, wiseass employees who ruin the experience. With no other theater within twenty miles, Marquees jerk staff leverage this fact with a "dont like it, too bad." Dont complain if the sound is out, youll get, "whatever, well get to it." You cant pass in this theater, there is no other. Just wait for the film to come to Netflix.

Bathrooms are sooo bad. Ill be going to oneonta theater from now on. Think dirty Mexican restaurant bathrooms.... Someone stepped in diarrhea that was covering a toilet and tracked it out of the restroom. The ladys room smelt just as bad from the outside. Filthy place. Told an employee who immediately found a job away from the bathrooms that needed doing. This isnt how you run a business.

The speakers in our theater seemed a bit miscalibrated, but it did not deduct from the overall experience. The line was long but the employees made sure everyone was taken care of quickly. The popcorn was good. It wasnt exceptional, but it was good. It wasnt burnt nor stale. Our drinks were good as well; we ordered ICEEs and they were both ready in seconds and not watered down.

The management and staff of the Marquee Cinema are wonderful. They are animal lovers and welcome shelters, rescues and other not for profits to set up in their lobby with animals that need homes. I encourage everyone to take time out and go see a movie at the Marquee and tell them thank you for helping numerous pets find their forever homes!!

Pretty much your standard movie-going experience. I spent the last two years in Buffalo before movie to the valley. At AMC Maple Ridge 8, I was able to have a fully reclining leather lazy-boy chair, which I could reserve beforehand for the exact same price. I guess with a smaller chain like Marquee, you lose out on some of those benefits.

Our experience is usually, consistently "fair to good." However, last time young teens were smoking pot right in the theater! Security said it happens occasionally. Sometimes the sound is either too loud and distorted or not loud enough but theyve always been polite and corrected it when weve requested them to address the situation.

Ive have been there 4 times now. I have never been to a theater where the forgot to start the movie . They have done that twice now. 2 min before the movie was supposed to start we got curious and went to alert staff. Before then it was pitch black in the theater. Other than that staff is friendly and the popcorn is good

This movie theater is always dirty and bathrooms dirty. Always have issues with sound or heat. Its either to loud or extremely low. The heat is either way to high or you freeze. Food is typical movie theater quality and cost $$$. Overall would I return yes but bring sanitizer and wipes for your seat and hands.

Theaters are almost always very clean, just the occasional stickiness youll find at any cinema. Staff is friendly and courteous. Ive never had anything to complain about here, except maybe the concession prices - and thats to be expected these days.

Its a bit overpriced, but the seats arent terrible and the movies are decent quality. Its also fairly clean considering nobody picks up after themselves. The popcorn is normally pretty bad, which is surprising considering how expensive it is.
