Disclaimer. I LOVE this movie theater. The reason for the bad review is because of recent events. I have been going to this theater for years. I see every movie with my girlfriend, and most of the staff recognize us. We understand the policies of outside food and drinks but the friendly staff let it slide in light of the money we spend there literally every 1-2 weeks. Recently a manager was standing by the podium with am employee weve never seen before. They asked us to put our outside drinks back in the car, which is fine. But they were EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful towards us. My girlfriend and I spend more money at that theater than anywhere and all of a sudden we felt mistreated and disrespected. The new guy behind the podium pointed out the sign with a nasty attitude. He acted as if we couldnt read the sign. This age old tradition of "no outside food or beverages" is immature and to treat us like we were breaking the laws of the movie theater was a little uncalled for. I wouldnt have written this review if they werent so rude and nasty towards us. This is what we get after spending hundreds, possibly thousands at this theater?

Of the smaller and a little more dated theatres, the auditoriums are always kept clean with usually more than ample seating available to find a yourself a good one. The seats are standard fair and comfortable enough to sit through your movie without any real comfort features (no reclining or foot resting here) that youll find in the more modern recently built theatres. Snack selection is pretty standard but limited to mostly candy and other salty snacks at regular theatre prices. No real complaints and regularly frequent matinees when I can.

Manville theater is my preferred and local movie theater I go to. My friend and I were going to see the movie Nerve, we had everything planned around it. On the website it had said the movie was playing at 7:05 and when we arrived we overheard the man say it was not playing anymore...? The theater definitely should have figured that out. We were looking forward to seeing the movie so we drove across to the Hillsborough theater.

There were many problems with this theater. First off the video feed was down for about half way through the previews, then once it got fixed, the sound quality was very poor. All the characters/actors/actresses voices were muffled, and the effects were too high. This isnt even the first time that this has happened to me. Although we got free tickets to see another movie the overall experience was terrible.

Good place with fair prices and food. Staff is always friendly Would like to see them upgrade the seats. They dont move at all They arent entirely uncomfortable but more and more locations have bigger seats or even ones that recline. Between movie revenues being down and people looking for inexpensive getaways for even a few hours, this would be a welcome addition

Brought in my own small water and got screamed at and kicked out of the theater. Im not sorry I will not pay $5 for your water. I see almost every movie and never had a problem with my small water until two of the staff members disrespected me and kicked me out without asking nicely to leave my water. You just lost 2 loyal customers.

That movie theatre is one of the best ive ever been to. there are so many memories there. the food, seating, service, and motion picture are great! whoever dislikes that movie theatre has a real problem and has to be desperate to put a theatre that good... <3: k.d.s.

The people that work here are always nice. The line moves quickly if there is a crowd; especially when its the preview movie on Thursdays. Theater is relatively clean. The thing I would like is if they had low sodium or sugar free items for those that cant have snacks because of underlying heath issues.

Expensive, but then thats movie theaters for you. Excellent service, great selection of movies at any given time and very accessible. Sports a large parking lot and is next to a shopping center, providing additional parking as well as stores to grab lunch/dinner or snacks to smuggle in.

I have been going to this theatre for about 8 years and I have nothing but good experiences and courteous service. The matinees are one of the best priced. It has always been clean and the movies start on time. I always have more than enough room to sit comfortably and enjoy the movie.

Theres only one cashier operating the movie theater so the lines were very long and moved very slowly. Went to go watch Doctor Strange here and though the cinema itself was pretty nice, there should at least be more than one cashier to promote the line flow and traffic.

This is my go to movie theater, ticket prices are fairly low and the movie experience is really great. They have nice seating and most of the time the other people watching the movie are very considerate. My only problem is that snack prices are very high.

Friendly local theater, its a little old inside and could use a refresh. Sometimes they have the sound up way too loud. All in all, its still a nice place. With plenty eateries nearby its great for a movie and lunch or dinner that wont break the bank.

`Friendly staff, but like a lot of theaters, the seats are not as clean as you would like. You have to shift a few seats to find one with out stains or food crumbs. The concession stand snacks were also more expensive than I would have expected.

No assigned seating ... which makes this theater awesome. Its a typical theater and that means no bullshit attempts to scam the customer with higher prices for better seats or mandatory food purchased. Its plain, standard, and it works.

Average theater. Good selection of movies but not all auditoriums are the same, so it depend on where your movie is playing that will help to carve your experience. You do get some sound bleed over from the other auditoriums.

They have special airings of older movies and some anime movies that no other theaters in in the area play. They hold raffles for tickets and posters. Overall great theater, much better atmosphere than most others Ive been to.

If you are looking for a good place to watch a movie Reading is the place to go. We got tired of over paying at the local Fork and Screen and have been very happy with the service and selection at Reading.

Just your standard town movie theater no frills. They are getting due for a remodel everything is really starting to show its age. But they keep it clean and tidy and we always have a good time

Quality of the seats and projection needs some serious fix.. some of the auditorium is stinky & unbearable.. this use to be better theatre in this area few years ago :(

Great local theater. I take the family here almost every time we see a movie since it is conveniently located, clean and lines are typically quite reasonable.
