Went to see Star Wars this evening and had, by far, the worst theater experience of my life. There were all of four of us in the theater. Well, besides the guy that snuck in and watched a majority of the movie off to the side of the entrance. So, of course I feel like an idiot having paid. The worst distractions came from a man with his son. The man spent most of the movie on his cell phone and his son spent the movie talking and talking and talking and talking and talking.....and talking.... Oh, and screaming, literally screaming. At one point, I left the theater to attempt to get a manager. I found someone, that identified himself as "someone they let make decisions sometimes"; sounds promising, doesnt it? I advised of what was going on and how again, I must be an idiot for actually paying for my tickets. Eventually, he came into the theater, said nothing to anyone, and left. As you may imagine the cell phone usage and talking and talking and talking and talking....and talking.....continued. At the end we spoke to another manager, a woman at the front desk. She accused us of not saying anything to anyone, when we advised we did and asked why he would not have said anything she advise, "well, it is the other paying customers word against yours".... So, again I felt like an idiot for actually paying for tickets and even worse about now being considered a liar. She got very snotty and demanded to know what we wanted her to do about it. The manager I spoke to during the movie, handed us two free passes and said nothing else. We advised maybe they ought to control their theater. We appreciated the passes, but what a horrible customer service experience. Im not sure if I will be going to this theater again, but I certainly will be hesitant and would not recommend it to anyone. Terrible customer service experience.

An Honest Review. Now first off let me say that the only reason I am rating this 5 stars is too boost the overall rating (otherwise Id give it about a 4), but hear me out. I have lived near this theater for several years and before that generally went to this location before I moved closer. This theater is NOT that bad, people like to complain about the littlest of things. First off, in my experience the theater has only had like butter on the floor maybe once or twice since Ive been going there, its a MOVIE THEATER. What did you expect? Accidents happen. People spill things sometimes. Another thing, while I can definitely say this theater IS very expensive in terms of food (hence why this would have been 4 stars) the food is decent and even though its expensive, the biggest tub of popcorn is the best deal as you can just share it with people and get refills. As for the theater being dirty in general its average, its not too dirty and is usually clean honestly. As for the people that work there, yeah some of them seem like theyre bored or dont want to be there, but theres actually a decent amount of younger people that serve the food and theyre probably just tired of working long hours there (as it IS again a movie theater). Out of the like 20+ times Ive been there, I can easily say this theater has met my expectations and is an OK theater, now some have brought up the Walden Galleria theater, and yes while it IS nicer and probably does deserve 5 stars (as not only is the theater itself nicer, but its in a mall so before or after you can browse around it if youd like) if you live closer to this one, its perfectly fine to go to this one and not waste gas or money trying to get to the Walden one if its unnecessary in the first place. Thanks to those of you who have read this review.

The managers are very rude and act like security guards in cheap suits to the point that it is offensive and distracts from the movie(I am an adult, mature, quiet, good natured customer). I would have left if I had not already bought my ticket. They look you all over, check your stub on the way to the restroom, and although they interrupt the movie to check the theater, dont stop teenagers from talking. The general staff seemed helpful and that they understood their manager was on a power-trip. The seats are old and uncomfortable. I go to 10-15 movies in a year, and would rather go to a packed "amc maple ridge" or "walden galleria" theater any day, even the mckinley dollar theater has a more comfortable Seats and polite management. I went to see x-men apocalypse on opening/Memorial Day weekend and the parking lot was empty because no one wants to see a movie there. I work in marketing and know that if your theater is empty 36 hours after a blockbuster is released on Memorial Day weekend, its not them, its you. Prior to this I had gone to see "Selma" and assumed it was empty because the film is educational.

I took my two children (3 yo and 16 months) to a 2:00pm showing of Inside Out today. About halfway through the movie, as the baby was falling asleep, she cried for a little while. Regal staff escorted me out of the theater, told me that there was a complaint about the baby crying and that we would have to leave. I think it is utterly ridiculous that we should be asked to leave a mid-afternoon childrens movie for a baby crying. We spent $16 on movie tickets, and $16 on snacks. By the time we left all three of us were crying, I felt humiliated, and my 3 year old could not understand why he couldnt see the end of the movie. With so many other options for things to do, and so many other ways to see movies, why bother paying so much for a few hours anyway? We wont be returning to this theater.

Went to see Star Wars here last night. Small drink and popcorn cost 12$. The service was fast at the counter. The people who were checking tickets smelled like B.O, and not exactly sure if they knew how to scan QR codes.... slow process to scan a ticket. Screen is kinda small IMO for the amount of seats in the theatre. Sound quality is fine. This is an extremely average theatre. Nothing to be impressed by. Reminds me of the crappier theatres we have in Toronto :/ Went here because AMC was sold out of tickets for the same show time.

3/22/16 I went to the Elmwood ave. Regal movie theatre. I seen a young middle eastern couple walked in freely into one of the movie theaters, walked right past the manager (Arabian),she was carrying a lg bone white leather bag. My lsister had her purse searched two weeks prior. The movie theater was a full house (tuesday night $5). Security needs to be more consistent regarding protocol. To make sure the people are safe. Terrorism is real. Happening everywhere. Carelessness can cost lives.- Dinah Aponte

This is the worst theater Ive ever been to, and thats saying a lot. But the employees didnt spit on me, so I decided to give them 2 stars. They did however throw everyone suspicious looks, made me throw away my unopened bottle of water that I need for medical reasons, and at the last minute rearranged the line I was waiting in, which of course threw everyone out of order. Also, this location is really dirty and over-priced. Even though theyre nearby, I do my best to take my business elsewhere.
