They refused to pay our band at the end of the night because they didnt have the turnout they were hoping for. So after 4 of us driving an hour to play there, having everyone in the bar dance to our music and compliment us afterward, when we go to get paid at the end of the night for the small amount of money we agreed to play there for the owner Pauline refused to pay us saying "what am I supposed to pay you out of my own pocket?" Um yes Pauline thats what bar owners do. When we contested she also threatened to "get her husband down here". What a joke. If you have conditions as far as us drawing a certain amount of people then make that part of our agreement beforehand. Dont make us show up and play and entertain your patrons and then jerk us afterward. After reading other reviews it seems they have a history of doing this. So wrong. Their drinks are also horribly watered down. I dont recommend anyone support this place who likes to take advantage of bands.

Rating is strictly based on personel....Shows are usually great here. Most recent experience wasnt (LTJ show 11/20/16). The person I ordered drinks from was a bit rude. I ordered while she was ringing in someone else and had my credit card in my hand and she started complaining about how everyone was paying with credit cards (unprofessional even if talking to coworker)... She even gave me an attitude when asking if I wanted to keep it open or close out. When I ordered a second drink i made sure to go to someone else and they were fine like I normally deal with (only reason i left a tip at all) at this location...unfortunately people remember and comment on the bad but most of the time I enjoy all personel and environment.

Leah was awesome...a lot of her friends and co workers came to show their support. I discovered the next a m my iPhone could not be found, even by find phone app(my phone was dead. I tried to call club in the later a m...couldnt leave a message, emailed I had a band named Help no response...still waited will be 2 wks Tm

Awesome stage type nightclub/music hall that is very spacious with an outdoor deck, greenroom, massive sound system, huge bar, full intelligent lighting, soundbooth and secure! The only issue is that many promoters, bands, act, etc. usually end up getting stiffed when attendance is low.

Perfect local Bar to see your garage band perform there, or your Sons Band! Lack of sound, stage and lighting. Staff its ok, a lot of good bands played there but I hate the place! Its just my taste of places like: The Paramount or The Emporium Where its $35.00 price ticket well spent.

I really enjoyed my time at Revolution Bar & Music Hall. They have a spacious location with lots of parking. The bartender here is the best. No watered down drinks. Every drink is how its supposed to be. Its also a great location for local bands to gather an audience. Promote local!

This is exactly the right venue for this area. Quality of shows and food are very favorable as well as the prices. Always a good time. Low show prices will encourage one to get out more often and experience new music. Well done!!

This venue is actually A BAR with a tiny little stage attached to one side. It was easy finding it considering there isnt much in Amityville, except for the infamous horror house, which is actually right around the corner.

The food is expensive and the waiters expect you to tip them like seriously? I just want my chicken fingers! The bathrooms are disgusting and filthy I couldnt even wipe my bum I had to wait until I got home

Easily my favorite venue on the island for metal shows! The setting is super intimate, the staff are great and they bring in great bands. Theres a pretty large parking lot right behind the building too!

Good place to see a show but the drink prices are a little higher than need to considering this is a step above a dive bar with music. Definitely worth a visit if your band is performing there.

They no longer have a dance floor yet they keep advertising that a DJ is spinning as well as whatever band is performing. A DJ with no dance floor is like a bar without beer.

Small venue so you will have a nice view of the stage no matter where you are in the place. Mainly standing room a few booths but i assume those are reservation only.

Very cool layout! The bar is well stocked. Good variety of beers on tap. Seating and standing room in abundance. A very fun venue. Fairly good sound system, too.
