I have made this public SHARE IT PLEASE!!! I need Las Vegas people to take warning!! Bed Bug Warning! I went to the Silver Nugget Casino and ate at their restaurant The Home Town Kitchen.. Please do not go there they have bed bugs!!!!! While I was sitting with my kids taking silly pictures I felt a stinging itch on both my calfs that I had resting on the edge of the booth seat.. I look and I have welts, I looked under the booth to see what in the world was giving me welts and I Kidd you not bed bugs!!! I called over the wait staff and asked for a piece of tape and I stuck it on one to catch it so they can see.. I made my kids get out of the booth and I waited for management..i dont think she took me seriously she offered me free food or to just leave.. I declined and paid for my food then noticed they still gave me a 50 percent discount which is not what I wanted.. I wrote a report the staff avoided me the management left and took a long while to return.. While I waited I checked on other booths across the restaurant they also are infested!!! I suggested they close down I said it is very serious this is how bed bug infestations spread I am so upset and freaking out! I hope I didnt bring any home with me! Let alone all the other people who unknowingly are sitting at that restaurant now!! This is not acceptable! I asked for the tapped bed bug to be attached to my report but I dont know if they did that.. I took pictures of my findings and I am posting them this needs to go viral ams this place properly taken care of!!! ( you need to zoom into the picture to see but there are clearly eggs, babies, mid adults, and adult bed bugs)!! The blue ish gum picture is taken right where my legs were resting !

I booked this hotel by stopping in a mini-market in Las Vegas and asking for a recommendation. I was referred this hotel by an older gentleman who said that the cheap hotel I had booked online on the other side of town was not somewhere he would send his daughter with any kind of hope for her safety. Since I was alone, I ditched the $30 hotel room I had and booked at the Silver Nugget. What a paradise of privacy, beauty, comfort, and great food. I found the hotel restaurant very delicious -- and I came back to eat there several times. The casino offers fine service and allows for a variety of activities on the floor. I think there are two restaurants on site. I loved the spacious clean and lavishly furnished room. I was in love with the smaller group at the pool and found the help and guests to be very helpful and friendly. Right before leaving for the airport with my rental car, I lost my key. I was frantic, and the hotel staff bent over backwards to help me find the key, then when I could not find it, they helped me to call numbers for my quick return to the airport. I made my flight. Without their immediate assistance, I would have missed my plane. This hotel is a beautifully quiet and yet wonderfully restful place to stay. I wont stay anywhere else when I go to Vegas. An easy drive to the strip for the louder side of Vegas. This hotel is very nice to come home to at night and is a stones throw away from the major lights and action downtown. Highly recommended.

This was the last job I had.Worked for 10 years at the Silver Nugget Casino I had to give it 5 stars.I miss it tremendously. My CoWorkers and my Regular Customers was like my 2nd family.I was heartbroken when I had to quit but I was dealing with a lot at that time.finding out I have a Nerve Disorder and at the time I couldnt even walk and that might have been the case for the rest of my life. After the treatment and then released after a ten day hospital stay I was Greeted by My CoWorkers and Regular Customers at work on a false pretense so they could give me something that made me not sure if I was correctly Reading or counting and it for sure humbled me to the core and made me cry like a fool every time I read, I was given 2 huge get well cards.Filled out by everybody and both cards had donation money.I guess everybody knew since I was disabled how long it would take for me to get disability benefits. Some of my Regular Customers that I served since my first day of work at Silver Nugget would still leave money donations with the manager to give to me, even months after my last day.I made sure that they all knew how much I appreciated all of them. I did something that hopefully all of them Noticed... I miss you second family.

You cant beat the prices at this place. Its like happy hour all the time! And the restaraunts good too. Great food, great specials, and worth the dollar. It also has Bingo a long with bowling. Ive visited this place several times and the people that work there are great. It is very well managed and they have a lot of loyal customers that have gone there for years. Security is friendly and would never treat someone so rude like the other review said - especially a family (there is no hotel). And by the way --> you wont find another casino with more friendly Cocktail Girls (and they arent stingy with the free drinks!) Definately worth checking out! It really is like a hidden gem!

I havent been to this eating establishment in a year and now I see why. I ordered the 4 Oz steak, scrambled eggs, toast with grits. The grits tasted like they had been boiled in bacon fat, then they had nerves to pile butter in them. Ive never had greasy, old lumpy grits before. My steak was dryer than our air. The eggs were horrible. The best part of my breakfast was the toast and water. My son had chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, hash browns. He was only able to eat his pancakes. Even his orange juice had a horrific taste. We will not be back. Very disgusting.

The employee Stephanie is a complete doll, thank goodness for her or we would have not been able to keep ourselves professional. The manager of this place is completely unprofessional, rude, and a very greedy man. We purposely screwed out a foundation that helps support children and families suffering from life threatening diseases. It sad when regular customers, are coming up handing us money because they feel so badly for how the owner has handed this entire event. Completely unorganized and manager no where to be found. NEVER HOLD AN EVENT HERE!!
