I was disgusted with Meridian Lanes last Friday 6/20/14. We took a group of kids there for a field trip we had scheduled. On a prior field trip they had given us cards for all the children to participate in their kids bowl free program. In front of 26 children the rude woman who was behind the counter told us that we are a daycare and we cant participate in the kids bowl free program. I asked her why she had given them to me the last time I was there and she said for me to hand out. I was stunned, she wanted me to help promote their business and she is refusing to let us participate in the program. So instead of them honoring the coupons and getting money for he shoe rental and letting us bowl one free game we were turned away, not even a second thought about trying to work with us. I had a pre written check and the owner of our center was out of town so I had no way of being able to pay for the bowling games. It was 10:30 in the morning and there were 3 other people in the Bowling Ally besides us. At our center we have over 130 families. We are all a part of the community. We did the kids Bowl Free program with Big Als all summer last year and thats where our business will go back to. We will not be back to Meridian Lanes, and we have let every family at our center know about our treatment there. There are some other reviews here about the rude staff maybe its time someone changed the staff around there. If I was the owner of that establishment and I read this I would be furious. 130 families multiplied by avg. 4 people in a family lots of missed $$$$$...... Its a shame that a business that has been there that long would treat the children in our community that way. Shame on you all

Apparently this place doesnt care about leagues. Last Thursday they screwed things up after our league secretary called on TUESDAY to confirm the new assignments since we gained one team and lost another. They moved us THREE times and there was absolutely no acknowledgement of the situation. The agreement with our league was to not put open bowlers next to our league until 9:15. Well, they have not upheld their end of the agreement. What happens if there is a mechanical issue on one of our league lanes? Used to love to bowl here, but this place couldnt care less about their leagues. I will be looking to bowl elsewhere after this league is done.

I have never been treated so rude before. Both the men at the desk started off being rude to our group. We enjoyed playing, but when we went to pay with our 2 games free pass they were jerks. They guy charged us for 8 games and took off the free 2 games leaving us with 6 games to pay for when we only played 2! When I tried to explain that our games were supposed to be free he just spoke to me in a rude tone and would not give us our free games. We ended up paying $30 for games that were supposed to be free. I will never go back there to bowl. Very unhappy.

Rude. They never have any open lanes and if they do they stick you on a lane that is broken. We had to have the lane reset multiple times. The leauge bowlers give you dirty looks. Not family friendly anymore. Its gone way down hill and will not be going back. They only care about the leauge players and not the families in their own community

I waited an hour and a half and couldnt get a bowling lane because of too many people playing for the leagues. They have league nights 6 days of the week and I dont think its fair for people that want to play casually. They should leave more lanes open for people that come into play

Love bowling league there, Lane conditions and approaches are always well maintained. Staff is really nice. Easy to get to from anywhere in the valley. Great prices on bowling practice or for fun, save your money and go to a locally owned bowling alley.

We really enjoy going to Meridian Lanes. They have good food in their snack bar, especially the burgers, great prices in the bar and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We recently signed our kids up for their kids bowling program and the kids love it.

If anyone wants a great place to bowl for a great price this is the place to go. Anyone who disagrees must have had a bad day, the employees treated me with soo much respect and I never had a problem, they were always glad to help.

They told us Sat was first come first serve, we couldnt make a reservation. When we got there, there were open lanes, but we were rudely told they were reserved for the next hour. Totally ruined my daughters B-day.

lanes when we went around noon there where only 10 groups or so. The employees are OK. Can be a little rude if you dont follow their quirky rules. Overall OK. Food is good.

I attend a very fun bowling league thats hosted here in the fall - spring. With Cash Thunder, $1 games, and a fun atmosphere - it cant be beat!

Lots of lanes to bowl on. Pay per game, price includes shoes. Hard to get to if you dont know how. Meridian road is one way streets.
