An amazing experience that I would LOVE to repeat again. We learned so much from the very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the facility itself is top notch. A real hidden jewel on the Mississippi gulf coast. My family and I got to meet Buster and Bo up close and personal. Both are veterans of the U.S. military having served with Navy. They are both retired now and showed off for in the pool and allowed us to feed them and pet them dockside. Its very obvious from the start the people here really care for the dolphins in their charge and this made the trip that much more enjoyable and I highly recommend a visit to see them for yourself.

Though the grounds are fabulously luxuriant compared to the toxic dump that Marine Life Oceanarium was for years (decades!) before Katrina destroyed it, its still not a great place. I was disturbed after doing research on the guy who runs it, Moby Solangi. Apparently something of a con man, a "dolphin pimp," and a shill for BP...look him up on Google. Dont support people like this. Im not opposed to keeping some marine mammals in captivity for research purposes, but I dont think people should keep dolphins cooped up for entertainment--which is all this place is, really.

I was particularly elated to find that we still have a mammal and Marine Institute for dolphin, tortoise other marine life and they have even taken in a parrot is very funny. Are guest from the Isle of Man had a wonderful time petting the shark and petting the stingrays and rubbing the dolphin belly we had a wonderful time thank you. And lets not forget about our friendly sea lion he did a marvelous job and he loves to be praised

Very educational and fun! I did the Public Tour and the Dolphin Encounter, and it was the highlight of my weekend. The animals are well taken care of, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the facility is exceptional. The best part was knowing I was supporting the important work they do for rescue and rehabilitation of marine animals. This was a great experience for adults and kids alike. Highly recommended!

I appreciate what they are doing here for marine life. The facility is nice and clean. However, I dont think this tour is appropriate for all kiddos. My rambunctious three year old twins struggled to sit through three different 20 minute "talks." They enjoyed the shows and touch and feel portions of the tour. It was a little long (over 2 hours) in my opinion.

Our family enjoyed this. We booked the 2 hour tour online and had no problems. Our kids are 7 and 11. It is educational so there is a lot of sitting and listening before the touch pool, museum, dolphin, and sea lion. Follow the directions on the website to find the place and it isnt hard to find. I guess there are problems with some of the GPS directions.

Horrible....... More talking than anything else and no interaction with dolphins. You get to watch like 5 minutes of the dolphin and like 5 minutes for the sea lions. Waste of money.....DO NOT GO! 100% horrible

We had a great time. Paid for the dolphin encounter and had a blast feeding, touching and doing tricks with the dolphin. Will definitely go back once their new facility is opened.

Good place for kids. Not what I expected for adults. Solid staff and friendly none the less but not worth it unless you have children.
