IM NOT PLEASE WITH BOOMTOWN CASINO I LOST FIVE HUNDRED AND SOME DOLLARS TODAY AT BOOMTOWN , AND I HAVE PLAYED 1234AND5 DOLLARS ON THE MACHINE AND DONT GET ANYTHING. ITS SOMETHING WRONG EVERY TIME I COME TO BOOMTOWN I AM DONATING MONEY AND NOT GETTING ANYTHING . THIS IS A VERY HARD PLACE TO PLAY AT I HAVE BEEN COMING TO BOOMTOWN FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND ONLY HAD A JACKPOT FOR 17TH HUNDRED . I AM SORRY THAT I EVER STARTED COMING TO BOOMTOWN , IM HAVE TO LEAVE BOOMTOWN CASINO ALONG I CANT KEEP GIVING PLAYING MY MONEY IN BOOMTOWN CASINO IM NOT GETTING ANYTHING I GET DISABILITY ONCE A MONTH . IM HAVE TO LEAVE BOOMTOWN CASINO ALONG , THE MACHINES ARE SO TIGHT ITS A DISGRACE . IF YOU ALL REALLY CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE THAT COME IN AND PLAY , YOU WOULD LET THEM GET A JACKPOT SOMETIME , IT WANT BE NOTHING BUT SOME OF THEY MONEY THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY LOST. I KNOW THAT YALL CAN CARE LESS IF I DONT COME , BUT YOU NEED TO TREAT ANYONE THE SAME WE ALL PLAY OUR MONEY . After coming home to visit, I decided to bring my siblings out to Boomtown. We arrived about 20 minutes before the end of lunch. I asked the hostess if we would be allowed to remain and continue to eat throughout dinner. She said, Yes. After getting our dinner plates, Josh Troutman, security, I think, and a manager (I also think) approached our table and said that if we wanted to continue to eat that we would have to pay the dinner price. I explained to them what the hostess had stated. Josh asked to see my receipt, and he and the other worker went to the back. They returned, informing my siblings and me that I could get dessert but they would have to take our plates. What??!!! I couldnt believe this. Remaining calm, I reiterated to them what the hostess had shared with us (the fact that we could stay and continue to dine). I told him how disappointed I was with the customer service. He was adamant; he refused to allow us to stay. He said they were going to take our plates. Even if he had allowed us to finish what we had already gotten ( what was on our plates), I would have felt better. I hadnt EVER had this kind of experience. If the worker who was with security is a manager, he is a very poor one and has extremely poor customer service skills. Though the food was delectable, the overall experience, mainly because of the workers inconsiderateness and refusal to make ANY REASONABLE compromise, was unsatisfactory. Im hopeful to receive an apology from the management plus a full refund!

The food was wonderful. Our server was the best. Would be 5 stars if the hostest that was wearing us wasnt rude. We asked to sit in a booth and there was a lot empty she said well i have this table ok. Table was dirty the other peoples plates was still there. While waiting for someone to come clean the small booth beside the table was open and clean i asked a server if it was ok to sit there instead of waiting for the table to be cleaned. He said yes. Ok all good while eating the same girl was talking to the server for the table we was suppose to be at and was telling her that she needed to tell us to move back if she didnt say nothing she would. So yes interrupted the conversation cause I could hear everything being said. They were no no no its ok its just she wanted to be our server. That was ok but I didnt want a dirty table. At the end I asked the young man that was our server about the ticket that she took and told him that his tip was included in our bill. Turns out she kept it because they cant claim the tip of they dont have the receipt. The reason they wanted us to sit in her section was she seen how much the tip was. That was not a reason to make someone wait for the table to be cleaned off when there is several open.

Went to the Buffet on Thanksgiving day and it was our 10 year wedding anniversary. We use to frequent the buffet prior to Katrina, this was our first time back. But things have changed since we were there last. The food at the buffet was great like usual but,- the smoked filled room from the casino made it almost unbearable experience to sit there and eat. It is gross to sit there and try to enjoy a very expensive meal and all you can smell is smoke from the casino. Please boomtown- you have one of the best buffets on the coast please, please put up some kind of barrier between the casino and the buffet entrance. There is nothing worse then smelling smoke while you are trying to eat dinner. Yuck Also it seems that there is not much ventilation in that casino because the smoke was so think, it make it hard to breath. On another note- I noted a lot of the wait staff, mostly women, had very dirty and slopped shirts. The tan shirts really show the dirt I would try darker shirts it made the servers look very sloppy and unclean. Kim M gulfport

Was fairly enjoyable and the crowd is older, locals mostly so there was only like 2 waitresses working so getting a drink was impossible unless you were in the other room where the more expensive slots and tables were in the adjacent room. They had a self serve soda fountain but trust me it was kind of nasty. There slots payed it pretty good and me being a rookie on the tables the dealer really was helpful in blackjack so all in all it want bad. The waitresses, when contacted and on the table side, were really nice and respectful. The low ceilings keep the smoke a little thicker than should be but the experience was not too unbearable. I won on the table and on the slots so I really have no complaints other than the buffet that was extremely limited, dark, and unappealing vs the price. Gamble here but dont do the buffet and the little general store up front had some cool stuff in there and fair prices.

Terrible experience at the buffet! My mom has had gastric bypass and has a doctors card saying she can only eat a couple ounces of food (to use places to be able to get a kids meal since she wont eat much). A family friend who has also had the same surgery went a week ago and used her card to get a kids price. We went 7 days later and were told they dont take those cards. Thought about leaving, but heard great things about the buffet and decided to stay. Should have gone else where! The food, for the most part, was old and dried out. Steak was all well-done or beyond and soaking in water. Not much variety and people working behind the line poured food in like feeding pigs at a farm. The crab was mostly good (didnt want JUST crab), but that and the desserts were all that we ate. One the positive side, our waitress was very nice and prompt to refill drinks. Will not be returning.
